Once finished filming the 20 billion won venture together, Jeon Ji Hyun and Ha Jung Woo seek new challenges. Ha Jung Woo will be in Los Angeles from April 18-28 for an exhibition of his artwork titled 'Pose'. This is his second art exhibition in the US after his 2013 exhibition in Chelsea, New York. Recently, Ha Jung Woo directed the movie 'Chronicle Of A Blood Merchant'.

Kang Je-gyu, Choi Dong-hun, Lee Jun-ik: 10 Million Admission Directors Are Coming

movies_newss_20150319.jpg

Korea’s most successful directors with 10-million-admission movies are returning. Kang Je-gyu of “Salute D’Amour,” Choi Dong-hoon of “Assassination,” and Lee Joon-ik of “Sado” are coming to the theater this year. The first to meet the audience is director Kang Je-gyu. Creator of “Taeguki” and “Shiri,” Kang is making a comeback with “Salute D’Amour” on April 9. It is a love story about 70-year-old Seong-chil who falls in love with the flower shop owner Geum-nim and people who support the last love of their lives. It captures the two elders’ special romance that is clumsier than first love, more exciting than the first confession, and more heart-fluttering than the first date. The movie stars Park Geun-young, Yun Yeo-jeong, Cho Jin-woong, Han Ji-min, Hwang Woo Seul-hye, Moon Ga-young, and EXO’s Chan-yeol.
“Making ‘Salute D’Amour’ was such a happy experience for me that I wanted it to go on forever. I hope it is a movie that makes you can watch with your loved ones and reflect on the meaning of unchanging love.”

Choi Dong-hoon of “The Thieves” is returning with “Assassination,” a suspense-filled movie set in Shanghai and Seoul in the 1930s. It tells an unpredictable story of independence fighters, Provisional Government officials, and assassinators without a country, a name, or forgiveness who undertake a secret assassination mission. It stars Jeon Ji-hyun, Lee Jung-jae, Ha Jung-woo, Oh Dal-soo, Cho Jin-woong, Lee Gyung-young, and Choi Duk-moon.

“The King and the Clown” director Lee Joon-ik is coming back with “Sado.” The movie re-interprets the well-known, but little understood story of Crown Prince Sado who was condemned to death by his father King Yeong-jo. The cast is led by Song Gang-ho, Yoo Ah-in, and Moon Geun-young.

The April issue of Elle sees Jun Ji Hyun bare a little bit of herself and her view on acting.

In addition to the stunning photo shoot, she sits down with the magazine and dishes on some of her past and present works. Jun Ji Hyun just wrapped up filming for the film “The Assassination,” which is her second film with directorChoi Dong Hoon, who also directed “The Berlin File” (2013). “I’m playing Ahn Ok Yoon, who is the head of a hit team and a top sniper for the freedom fighters. While there was a lot of pressure to do well, I did my best to stay calm and composed,” says the actress.

Regarding her most recent TV character, Chun Song Yi fromMy Love from the Stars,” Jun Ji Hyun says that it was a difficult character for her. “While I was playing Chun Song Yi, even as there was a consistent enthusiastic vibe from her, I felt a pressure to show a different something by the end [of the drama]. I even felt like I needed to do at least one funny thing per episode,” Jun Ji Hyun says.

She’s more at ease and comfortable with her roles in “The Assassination” and “The Berlin File,” says the actress, rather than a role like Chun Song Yi. “Acting as someone who is nothing like myself makes me really feel like I’m acting. Of course, it’s not good if the role ends up looking unnatural, but that’s the most comfortable for me.”

Jun Ji Hyun closes, saying, “I’ve never once thought that I was special. If you think like that, you’re bound to end up lonely. So I tried not to get caught in those types of mindsets, and the same goes for me now,” and, “I’m not afraid of get older and getting wrinkles. It’s possible that I could be doing more things than I am now; it’s something you just don’t know.”

The full interview and pictorial with Jun Ji Hyun can be found in the April issue of Elle.
