Actor Jo In Sung will be having a surprise appearance on the variety program “I’m Going to School” to support his cast member Sung Dong Il.

On the September 6 episode of the jTBC variety program, Jo In Sung appeared in a video message in front of Sung Dong Il’s class. Sung Dong Il, who is in the hit drama “It’s Okay, It’s Love” with Jo In Sung, managed to receive a video message for his class, who burst into cheers at the personalized message from the popular star.

Although he jokingly mentioned being jealous of his co-stars’ popularity in his own classroom, Sung Dong Il seemed pleased at how successful his surprise event for his classmates turned out.

“I’m Going to School” is a cable variety program where celebrities join real-life classrooms as students. It airs every Saturday.

He been challenged by teacher Oh Sang Jik from Incheon Foreign Language High School. He passed it on to Hong Kong movie director Stephen Chow and Indonesian rock band Slank.

The JTBC entertainment show "Off to School" won its highest national viewership rating on Saturday, according to Nielsen Korea.

The 10th episode, which aired Saturday on the cable channel, an affiliate of the Korea JoongAng Daily, recorded 3.96 percent.

On the program, celebrities relive their school days by visiting a local high school, wearing the school uniform and mingling with the students there throughout the week.

The latest episode was filmed in Incheon Foreign Language High School, with a cast including actors Seong Dong-il and Nam Joo-hyeok, singers Yoon Do-hyeon and Kangnam, freelance emcee Oh Sang-jin and film critic Heo Ji-woong.

The show debuted on July 12 and kicked off with a viewership rating of 2.5 percent. It soared to 3.8 percent in mid-August.

"Off to School" airs every Saturday at 9:40 p.m. on JTBC.

Actress Hong Eun Hee took picture with her classmate in program "I'm Going to School". These kids must be older one on two years than her son.
