Katie Kim takes up first stage since “K-Pop Star 4″ with Jinusean for “T​ell Me One More Time”

Katie Kim performed her first stage as a YG Entertainment artist on the latest airing of Inkigayo alongside hip-hop legends Jinusean.

Aired on May 10th, Katie Kim became the third YG artist to feature as the female vocalist and overall fourth guest, which includd 2NE1‘s Sandara Park, Akdong Musician‘s Suhyun, and EXID‘s Hani. The original featured vocalist is Kang Hanna.

 

With her own vocals, Katie Kim gives off a different but refreshing vibe to the track as she performs to the hip and trendy track of “Tell Me One More Time.”

The track is Jinusean’s first song in 11 years. Meanwhile, Katie Kim is expected to make her solo debut soon under YG Entertainment.

Lily M. of “K-Pop Star 4″ Becomes a​ Trainee Under JYP Entertainment

It is being reported that Lily Murrow, better known as Lily M., from “K-Pop Star 4,” has decided to become a trainee under JYP Entertainment.

On May 15, a representative of JYP Entertainment shared that Lily M. signed a trainee contract with the agency on May 14, and will officially begin training next month in June.

Making her way to the Top 4 of SBS’ singing competition “K-Pop Star 4,” Lily M. showed viewers her great talent for singing, as well as a wide range of other charms, for which she received praise from the show’s three judges.

The agency rep continued, “Lily M. is a talented individual that has the remarkable potential to become a global star with her singing and dancing. We will raise a brilliant star through JYP’s organized training system.”

A spokesperson for Lily’s side explained why she decided to join JYP: “Lily is still a young student. We concluded that not only does JYP Entertainment have a training system for making her into a star, but it is also a company that thinks importantly of character as well as the duties of a student.”

Lily M. of “K-Pop Star” Debuts with OST for “Orange Marmalade”

Former “K-Pop Star” contestant Lily M., who was recently revealed to have signed with JYP Entertainment, will be making her debut with an OST for brand new KBS Friday drama “Orange Marmalade.”

Entitled “I’m Scared” (working title), the song was produced by top producer Yoon Il Sang and showcases Lily M.’s ability past her years to express deep emotions with her voice. The track is slated for release at 8 p.m. on May 16 KST via domestic music sites.

“Orange Marmalade” is helmed by director Lee Hyung Min, whose past works including “I’m Sorry, I Love You” “and “Bad Guy,” and stars Yeo Jin Goo, Seolhyun, and Lee Jong Hyun. The drama premiered on May 15 and will air every Friday at 10:35 p.m. KST.

'K-Pop Star 4's Park Hye Soo signs a contract with Sim ​Entertainment

Park Hye Soo, who had made a name for herself on audition program SBS's 'K-Pop Star 4,' has signed an exclusive contract with Sim Entertainment!  She had impressed on the show with not only her vocals but also her pretty appearance, earning her the affectionate nickname 'Little Go Hyun Jung.'

CEO Shim Jung Woon of Sim Entertainment stated on May 29, "We saw potential in Park Hye Soo through the 'K-Pop Star 4' broadcasts and we have in mind a variety of entertainment promotions in the future [for her].  We will bring out the diverse colors that Park Hye Soo has."

She said through her new agency, "I learned a lot of things from 'K-Pop Star.'  I am grateful to the reps of 'K-Pop Star' who gave me strength to the very end and will work hard with this good connection."

It appears that with her new exclusive contract, she won't only be promoting as a singer but also as many other things, such as an actress!  Look forward to her future activities.

Seo Ye Ahn of “K-Pop Star 4” Signs With NS Yoon-G’s Agency

It has been confirmed that Seo Ye Ahn of SBS’ “K-Pop Star 4” has officially signed with a management agency!

Seo Ye Ahn, who is best known for her unforgettable cover of Ariana Grande’s “Problem” during the audition round of “K-Pop Star 4,” is now an artist under the same agency as NS Yoon-G.

On July 1, a representative of JTM Entertainment revealed, “We recently signed an exclusive contract with Seo Ye Ahn.”

Seo Ye Ahn earned much love from viewers during her time on “K-Pop Star” for her completely contrasting personalities on and off the stage. Unfortunately, she was eliminated from the singing competition before making it into the final Top 8.

Meanwhile, the winner of “K-Pop Star 4,” Katie Kim joined YG Entertainment, while Jung Seung Hwan and Lee Jin Ah became a part of Antenna Music, and Park Hye Soo signed with Sim Entertainment.

'K-Pop Star 4's Jung Seung Hwan lent his voice to the SBS drama 'The Time We Weren't In Love'!

The OST for the drama has the same title as the drama itself, and is the third song in the OST series. It's the first song Jung Seung Hwan is releasing since 'K-Pop Star 4', and he sings about two friends who have known each other for a long, long time but can't find the courage to get closer.

“K-Pop Star 4″ Contestant Park Yoon Ha Signs With Jellyfish Entertainment

Park Yoon Ha, a former contestant on “K-Pop Star 4,” will be joining Jellyfish Entertainment.

On July 20, talent management agency Jellyfish Entertainment announced, “Park Yoon Ha have signed a contract with us. Despite her young age, she has great musical talent, as well as a beautiful, clear voice.”

They continued, “We will fully support her in becoming a fantastic artist that has both great singing skills and instrument skills, by training her while respecting her musical preferences and direction.”

They also added, “As she is still a student, we will also help her in finishing her studies while working as a musician.”

Park Yoon Ha reached the top 6 on the fourth season of “K-Pop Star” earlier this year.

Jellyfish Entertainment is home to artists like Sung Shi Kyung, Park Hyo Shin, Seo In Guk, and VIXX.

On August 25th, teaser video for Park Jin Young and Lee Jin Ah's 'Road To The Airport' was released through Naver TV Cast.

The teaser video shows Park Jin Young and Lee Jin Ah having a conversation in a car, and playing piano together on a green field.

Park Jin Young says to Lee Jin Ah, "Don't get too excited. We are not here to travel. We are here to get motivated," and Lee Jin Ah replies, "But, can't we go to the airport? Take a flight to Jejudo, perhaps?"

Meanwhile, 'Road To The Airport' will be officially released on September 1st.
