Actor Moon Jung Hyuk (also known as Eric from the group Shinhwa) recently revealed a photo of himself while filming for his new drama, “Discovery of Love.”

In support of his new role, his fans brought the entire production team matching shirts as well as boxes of energy drinks. To thank his fans, he took picture of himself holding up the energy drinks while wearing the shirt and uploaded them onto the official E&J Entertainment Twitter site. His unique facial expression that seems serious yet kind of funny brought laughter to fans that saw the photos.

This drama will be Moon Jung Hyuk’s first in three years since “Spy Myung Wol” in 2011. In “Discovery of Love,” he will be portraying the role of Kang Tae Ha, a director of a construction company that is confident in both love and his work. Interestingly, the leads of the drama seem to be following the trend of reuniting couples from previous dramas. One of the many reasons why fans are anticipating this drama is the fact that this will be the second time Moon Jung Hyuk will be working with Jung Yoo Mi, since the drama “Que Sera, Sera” in 2007. Many have high expectations to how their chemistry will turn out in this drama compared to the previous.

A representative of E&J Entertainment responded with gratitude, “We thank all of the fans that came to support not only Moon Jung Hyuk but also the other actors and actresses as well as the entire production team that are working hard on this hot summer day.”

Meanwhile, “Discovery of Love” will be airing its first episode on August 18. It will take the Monday-Tuesday slot of “Trot Lovers.” Also starring in the drama are Sung Joon, Yoon Jin Yi, Yoon Hyun Min, and Kim Seul Gi. (The teaser for this drama has already been released, which you can view here)

KBS 2TV’s new Mon-Tues dramaa “Discovery Of Romance” (Script Jung Hyunjung Director Kim Sungyoon, Lee Eunbuk Production JS Pictures) has revealed a still image of Mun Junghyuk on set prior to it’s premiere on the 18th.

Mun Junghyuk acts as Kang Taeha, Han Yeoreum’s (Jung Yoomi) ex-boyfriend. Kang Taeha is a tough guy, confident and arrogant, be it in work or in love. However, at a decisive moment in love, he becomes the most romantic guy.

Although Kang Taeha and Han Yeoreum had a passionate relationship, in the 5 years they were together, he only hurt Han Yeoreum through his arrogance and inconsiderate speech and she broke up with him. However, he himself doesn’t know what he did wrong and when he one again misses Han Yeoreum, he appears in front of Han Yeoreum.
The revealed photo shows this part of Kang Taeha’s character. Shaking hearts of women through his strong gaze.

Mun Junghyuk’s personality, age and even looks are very much in sync with Kang Taeha’s outspoken personality and strong competitiveness etc. A representative of production company JS Pictures says, “Mun Junghyuk brings out the charm of Kang Taeha at 120%, as if it is himself,” and, “We’re already looking forward to the enthusiastic response of the female viewers after the drama airs.”

Continuing on, the representative said, “Please watch and see if Kang Taeha can break the popular belief that ‘ex-boyfriends will never change’ and once again win Han Yeoreum’s heart. This is one of the focal points of this drama.”

"Discovery Of Romance" is a real love drama that explores a love story that is honest and realistic. It is the new work of scriptwriter Jung Hyunjung, who gained a large number of fans through tvN’s "I Need Romance" series. It is directed by PD Kim Sungyoon, who directed drama special "Adolescent Medley", "The Reason I Got Married" etc.
