HW's mother is one lazy greedy leech. Once she finds out that SW is HR's daughter she is certainly going to do eveything she can for them  to stay married. HW listening to the twit wants to hold on to SW even after she told him she loved JH. Has the fool even stopped to think why HR and YH are so concerned and cares about him and SW's marriage. JS tried to reason with him and convince him to let SW go because her heart is with JH now but he's in selfish mode and refuses to agree to divorce SW. He doesn't care about all the suffering she's been through because of him. He only knows he can't live without her. 
The pressure is being applied on JH and SW by his mother and YH because JH's father's business is in trouble. From what little I could understand I think YH is trying to rope him into a marriage with the joining of the two families. SW has her own troubles to deal with and isn't of any help to him so she's feeling she's holding him back from helping his father and considering breaking up with JH. 

This is the part of these dramas that turns me off when they start having these selfish people doing everything under the sun to catch hold or hold on to someone who loves someone else. Looks like the noble idiot phase is about to start. .

@awsparkle,  I think mom and dad set this up right along with Yh help to force him into marriage why you think the snobbish witch is in his face Halmoni can help them without them being married.. Yh is going to do all in her powers to marry him this could be the reason Hw is letting her go because Yh has told him that KJ has to marry her in order to save his fathers company and Sw will play the nobel idiot and break up with him..


I think once Hw mom finds out who Se mom is yes she's going to want them to stay married and she going to blackmail bio mom..

Make a Wish - Ep 45  w/Eng subs - Sowon's in LOVE and Dir Shin gets schooled
Scene:  Sowon & HotGuy at the beach... she confessesS:  I don't think I can say it's unfair anymore.  I can't say to those criticizing people, that they are wrong.HotGuy's happy, he hugs Sowon, she participates and places her arms around HotGuy.  Romantic song plays, camera pans in/out...Hotguy:  Thank you.  It won't be easy, but let's start again from right here.
Scene:  RichHouse, DumWon sleeping in front of ClueLessGranny and TallKidCG:  Did you sleep well?DW:  I'm sorry.  I fell asleep while waiting for you.CG:  Don't be sorry. I shouldn't have fallen asleep after inviting you.TK: Our house feels comfortable?  How could you sleep sitting there?DW:  I waited 40 minutes since Grandmother was sleeping.  Why did you call me here alone?CG:  Did something happen to your sister?  Your sister came and told me that she is quitting.  She was tearful so I was wondering what is going on.DW:  My sister was crying?CG:  I want to stop her from quitting but wonder if I should.DW:  So you want her to keep working, not quit, right?CG:  Yes, so will you convice her? Are you getting up?  Stay.  Have dinner with us.DW:  Can I?TK:  Yes. I will take you home after dinner.Dir Shin enters, ClueLessGranny tells her to prepare dinner for Dumwon.TK:  Relax, she isn't going to eat you.
Scene:  TallKid's bedroom, he shows DumWon photos of her sleeping - blah, blah, blah. As TallKid leaves the room to get his baby pictures, Dir Shin takes advantage, enters the room to dish some nastiness to DumWon.DS:  You are so thick-faced.  You aren't waiting for dinner, are you?  If you care for TallKid, you should give-up now.  I am warning you for the last time, it won't do you or TallKid any good to prolong this.  DW:  I don't know why you hate me, but we can do well.  So mother...DS:  Mother?  Why am I your MOTHER?   I told you before, carps live differently than loaches.  You three women shouldn't even come near this neighborhood.   I'm warning you for the last time.  Stay away if you don't want to get hurt. DW:  I will correct whatever bothers you, but don't speak ill of my sister and mother.DS:  If you don't want me to insult your family, then get out of my sight! Don't ruin my dinner, just disappear!  I feel like throwing-up looking at you, OK?TK:  (reappears) What are you doing? DS:  Your girlfriend has a stomachache.  She says she can't stay for dinner.TK:  Mom!  What did you say to her again?DS:  Is it my fault she's sick?  DumWon starts to leave, TallKid grabs her arm, tells her to wait, he will go with her. TK:  I can't sleep or work tomorrow if you go like this.
Scene:  The Beach with Sowon and HotGuy, they are walking along the surf lineHG:  Even a few hours ago, I never imagined this moment. I thought I was nothing more than just a person you were grateful to. S:  Looking back, you've expressed your feelings to me several times. How could I have been so blind?  I haven't been looking into myself.HG:  You have lived a hard life only to prove Hyunwoo's innocence for the past 5 years.   It's time to find your own happiness.  You deserve to do that. S:  But there is one thing I don't understand... Why me?  There are many other good women.HG:  Is it easy to find a woman who gets me without the need to explain all the time? That in itself is a miracle.  I told you before... that I want to show a nice woman like you a world where you can laugh freely.S:  I have nothing that I can do for you.HG:  Holding hands with you like this is all that you need to do for me. (They hold hands while walking along the beach.  Sowon stumbles, HotGuy catches her, in the process her necklace with her wedding ring falls into the surf unnoticed.  (uh-oh))  
Scene:  Restaurant by the beach, HotGuy and Sowon enjoying the dayHG:  Not bad to goof-off like this.S:  I resigned. HG:  I postponed your resignation, so don't think of resigning.S:  Then promise me that you will never quit.HG:  Then you quit to prevent me from quitting?S:  I couldn't stand you giving up such a position for my sake.HG:  What is so great about the job?  I feel like I'm 22 years old thanks to you. Like the time I fought with a buddy over a girl, I can fight against the world.  So don't run away, stay next to me.   Remember the friend I fought with?  I ate this with him after the fight.  I came here remembering that.   They still sell this.  You don't see too much handmade noodles, just lots of seafood, right?  We can't find something like this in the city.S:  Then it's been 15 years since you've had this?HG:  I had totally forgotten about it, but you reminded me of this place. 
Scene:  Rich House, ClueLessGranny, Skinny, and Dir Shin seated at the dinner tableCG:  Why aren't Dowon and Sukhyun coming down?DS:  Both disappeared without a word.DS:  You can tell from one thing.  How can they in Grandma's presence?  What kind of family education did she get?  She might ruin Sukhyun too.CG:  Did you say something to her?DS:  No, mother.DS gets a phone alert, goes to her room to see the photo of HotGuy and Sowon embracing at the beach.  (It's a great photo!)  She calls StupidSpy to deliver the photo to ClueLessGranny,DS:  VPKang's crazy about Sowon and is totally blinded.  The last batch of photos needed blog comments to stir-up, but this one's enough by itself.   I will send it now, so you make sure Ms. Chair sees it.  (to herself) The previous message board was useless and I needed a new plan to ruin VPKang.  VPKang himself provided the best pose as a present.
Scene:  Family restaurant, aunt arrives and remarks that it is very slow.   They wonder if HotGuy found Sowon.  Aunt remarks that Mom would be getting two great S-in-Ls if one of them wasn't Dir Shin's son. The eldest gets CE's VP and the other the Chair's grandson.  Mom remarks that she doesn't want the younger S-in-L!DumWon and TallKid enter restaurant, Mom freaks, says I told you not to come again.  She is not going to feed them, so leave.    DumWon says she got kicked-out of his house, is her mom going to do this too?  DumWon explains that the package is food Sowon made for the Margot deal.  Everyone remarks that Sowon did a fantastic job making ravioli that looks like a purse.
Scene:  Beachside restaurant, a couple asks HotGuy to take a photo for them.  This reminds Sowon that someone might be taking photos of them.  HG:  Don't worry, I won't let that happen again.S:  Then I shouldn't worry?HG:  Trust me.  Photos of us will never circulate again.  HG offers Sowon his coat, says:  They say that to envy is to lose.  I envied that young couple, so I copied them. (We see the photographer being snagged by two men...)
Scene:  Sowon and HotGuy in car, returning from beach outing, he is suggesting she sleep if she is tired. HG:  Why not?  Are you worried about a cameraman following us?S:  I'm afraid of even leaving the house.  When I think of someone taking pictures of me..HG:  I told you not to worry about it.S:  Do you have a plan?HG:  Of course. S:  Ok.  I will forget about the camera from now on.   (She suddenly notices her necklace w/wedding band is missing)   I lost my necklace!  Can you turn the around?  I can't lose that! HG:  Can you consider that lost way back during the protesting time at CE?  How about considering that your connection with the necklace ends here?  I wish to return to Seoul thinking this way.  
Scene:  Family restaurant, aunt tells TallKid she wouldn't mind him bringing more food (from the company) occasionally.   Mom says she doesn't want him coming.  DumWon says he will come until she approves.  Aunt says that he doesn't look like Minja Shin's son.  Those two are like Romeo and Juliet.  
Scene:  HotGuy and Sowon arrive in front of Family Restaurant, HG opens car to get big box of seafood for her family.  TallKid and DumWon walk-up, HG thanks DW for helping find S, offers to buy her a meal.   TK asks if all four can't eat together?  HG says why not, but keep it a secret from the company.  DW says that their mother won't be easily moved.  
Scene:  Family Restaurant, HG brings the box of seafood to Mom.  Aunt wants to know if they decided to date?  (HotGuy drops box and leaves) Mom says to Sowon to hurry the divorce.  Not only is it for her, but she should not delay any longer for HG's sake.  S:  Mom, can I really do this?M:  Why not?  Consider your fate with Hyunwoo over.  Don't look back anymore, only go forward with Kang Jinhee.
Scene:  Chicken Restaurant, Gunwoo, DitzyAunt,  M-in-L whining about frying chickens.   DA is whining about being exhausted, she can't take orders, fry chicken, or make deliveries.  M-in-L is whining about the hard work of frying chickens.  Gunwoo tells his mother that DA is a delicate greenhouse flower while she is a wild weed.   DA needs to go home, she is exhausted. 
Scene:  Rich House, Gunwoo takes DitzyAunt home, SkinnySong is home.  GW helps DA to bedSS:  That's fine.  You can go now.GW:  I will go when I'm not needed.  (gives medicine to DA)  Take this and get some good rest.DA:  I can't swallow pills.GW:  Oh, then should I break them for you?  Bad pills! (he is trying to smash pills)DA:  Don't.  I will try to swallow for your sake.GW:  (he tries to cheer her on... to swallow) SWALLL --LO!  I feel awkward with SkinnySong around.  Shall I go now or stay until you fall asleep?DA:  I'm afraid to be alone when I'm sick.GW:  Then close your eyes and sleep  I won't leave until you start to snore.DA:  I don't snore.  I never snore.GW:  Don't worry about it.  Snore all you want.   I think your snoring might sound pretty too.  Go ahead. 
Scene:  Poor House, HotGuy's rooms, talking on phone with his assistantHG:   How did it go?AST:  I've acquired all the information needed. HG:  Did he readily confess everything?AST:  Gave him some money, he confessed to things I didn't even ask.  Would you like to meet with him?HG:  If you got what I requested, I don't need to.
Scene:  Office Building, Dir Shin talking on her phone to her co-conspirator "Whether by delivery or in-person, that photo must be in Ms. Chair's hand today, got it?
Dr Shin walks to the elevator where she meets VPKang, looks surprised but greets him with her fake smile saying "Good morning."HG:  Is it?  Seems it won't be after all.DS:  Why?  Rumors don't last long and the message board seems quiet.HG:  I might be telling you unpleasant news.DS:  Unpleasant news?  What could that be?   
Scene:  Office Building, Dir Shin's office w/VP KangDS:  I'm nervous about that unpleasant news.VPK:  You know Sonhyun Agency, right?  You're their regular customer.  You got the information on me from them.   You got a big card on how to kick Sowon and me from the company?DS:  Kick you guys out?  What do you mean? VPK:   We caught the cameraman who has been tailing us yesterday.  He said he sent you the best photo to your cellphone yesterday.DS:  You believe that?  I used Sonhyun Agency occasionally for some info...VPK:  He said otherwise, that you paid him handsomely for the message board scandal.DS:  Oh, nonsense!  I never paid such money.  (VPKang takes copies of invoices and smacks them on the table for Dir Shin to see.  'Cause, BOOM! That is how it's done!)  Kang says, I have only extracted the most recent cases.  If you spread the photo in your cellphone, I will tell Ms. Chair about the things you have been scheming with the agency.  (He moves to take the invoices from the table, but Dir Shin grabs them)   "This is the last time I let it pass."  Rises and leaves her office.   Dir Shin is reeling.  
Dir Shin grabs her phone, calls her accomplice, asks "What did you do with the photo?"
Scene:  Rich House, StupidSpy is trying to place an envelope under the gate, says "I just slipped it under your gate."  DS:  What?  Bring it back RIGHT NOW!  I'm over if Ms Chair gets it!  Bring it back now, no matter what!StupidSpy frantically tries to recover the letter, but it is out-of-reach.  Housekeeper appears and StupidSpy runs away leaving letter on the ground.
Scene:  Rich House, front gate, Sowon rings and Housekeeper answers.S:  I came to see Ms Chair.(Dir Shin calls StupidSpy asks if he was able to retrieve the letter. SS says that the Housekeeper arrived and he could not get it.  Dir Shin hurriedly drives home)
Scene:  Family restaurant, DumWon and TallKid are eating, Aunt slips and says something about TallKid's mom being from Youngwol.  TallKid:  My mom's from Youngwol?  Do you know my mom?DW:  Yes, How do you know his mom is from Youngwol?Aunt stammers and stutters as Mom enters...Mom:  Must I slap you or throw water on you to stop you from showing-up?  Why would I act this way?  It is because this can never be.DW:  Don't just oppose us blindly.  Tell us the reason why.  Do you really despise Sukhyun that much?  Not like I'm so awesome.
Scene:  Rich House, Dir Shin rushes in, wants to know if an envelope came through the gate.HK:  Yellow envelope.  Ms. Chair took it inside.In ClueLess Granny's room, Sowon and CG talking...CG:  I was in the dark not knowing the reason.  What's going on?  Why suddenly quit the company?  Dir Shin barges in without knockingCG:  What the??  What are you doing without knocking?DS:  I'm sorry, I thought you weren't here.  (sees yellow envelope on CG's table)
End Scene. End Episode.

Just finished ep 26 (i know, i know still faaaaar behind). I love how JH tells SW to 'move on with her life', that she can't go like this forever and that she needs to be a bit selfish so that she can be, at least, happy in future. SW really needs someone like JH in her life who somewhat forces her to stop wasting her life. The way how she spent the last five years is neither healthy nor normal. It is not her responsibilty to take care of HW's family her whole life. They are no kids but two adults. They should earn the major money for the hospital bills and the house lend and not SW. While the MIL is not the worst MIL in dramaland, it is still outrageous of her how she thinks that her DIL ought to spend (and even waste) her life for them. Instead of being thankful she just complains... ugh
Even though I dislike both YH and HR, I do enjoy their power struggle and fight of words. I really really really hope none of them will get the company. It would be such an irony after everything they did to get it. lol
Hmmm, I think the writer needs to study the American and the Italian mindset a bit more. I mean I doubt that buisnessmen would be really that fascinated to get served ravioli looking like pink bags (even if it should represent their bags).  @-)

@Leaaaaa:  I'm transcribing.   Have watched advanced episodes on-line w/o Eng subs and find myself wondering 'What is going on?' which is why I transcribed these earlier episodes as they are broadcast in my area.  Don't know if I can continue to type all episodes as Apujje???? .... , the series that replaced Mother's Garden by Writer Im, is starting this week. (I think, I hope.)  THAT one I am definitely going to transcribe.  If it starts tonight, will only be about three weeks behind Korea's broadcast schedule.  IF...IF...IF...
If you (fellow Soompiers) find the translations helpful, I will try my best.  But if most following this series, since the Korean broadcast is so far ahead, don't require the Eng translations, I will save the time.  ;))

Does anybody know how long this drama will actually last? It says 120 episodes on wiki but all the secrets are coming out, and it's only episode 76.

I've seen 100 on some sites and 120 on others. 
Per the MBC site there's no ep being shown for 10/28/14 due to the baseball game. If this keeps up the drama will be on until next year this time or they will end up cutting the eps.  The actors have other projects and schedules to keep and the cancelling of the drama is putting it way behind.

I set this drama to the side for awhile and I think I'll still keep it to the side. It's getting really sickening. This drama is heading straight down the cliche road but just with a different story line. The in love couple are being torn and forced apart by all the selfish greedy people around them.

@awsparkle,  This is just the reason I watch two or three episodes a week if anything interesting  I can always go back and watch.. We all know Sw will play the nobel idiot..
