What Japanese drama are you currently watching?

 Finally done with 5 episodes of Soshite-Dare-mo-Inaku-Natta. I'm confused as hell. Hah.  Identity fraud+ isolaton + commit 7 crimes + 4 characters with no personal number or ID = confusion. I still dunno who is the mastermind. I suspected the mother.. but then I think it' the university classmate but everyone's a suspect.

Ha ha. That bold declaration "she's mine!" by the VP Kairi... then the kiss.. the ep 2 Mia stole the ring of Kairi.. she's like her ex  boyfriend that's so creepy. Yay! kinda hooked I dunno yet the backstory between Kairi and the wife but he's like paying for his 'sins'

One thing I I can say..  the beautiful Tiffany ( I like that silver heart earrings!) jewelries and those Jimmy Choo shoes.  So Emi Takeii gets to wear  them? Lucky gal!

 Then I tried to watch raw of Soshite, Dare mo Inaku Natta,  All I know is that he lost his identity, looks interesting, too bad no English sub. I'll just wait.

@jongski The former classmate is definitely up to something, but I'm not convinced that he's the mastermind. If I had to put my money somewhere, I'd bet on the bartender, but that's only a hunch. It could be anyone at this point.  

(I have to be honest, I'm not sure why I'm still watching this show. Curiosity? Inertia? ) 

I read this weekend that the kid playing Shinichi's colleague Itsuki in that drama will be Momo in the new version of "Kimi wa petto" this fall. I can't believe they're remaking that drama!

I managed to catch a couple of this year's drama specials recently. One of them was "Bustling City, Quiet sea" (Kensou no machi, shizuka na umi). It was only an hour in length and nothing special story-wise, but it was nice seeing a bit of Dean Fujioka. (I'm not following Happy Mari.)
The other one was "Kidnap Tour", a story about an unconventional father-daughter vacation. I ended up enjoying that one very much. It was simple, yet nuanced and very heartwarming. Speaking of specials, I'm really looking forward to "Mohouhan" -  http://www.tv-tokyo.co.jp.e.ck.hp.transer.com/mohouhan/ I'm currently reading the book it's based on, so I'm excited and curious about the adaptation. I'm not sure when it will air, but I'm hoping that it will be late in the year because I want to finish the book first. (Given my reading speed and the fact that I'm only half way through the 5 volumes, it will take me while. )

 Checking new drama  Soshite, Dare mo Inaku Natta but ep 1 is still raw though-  drama is kind of intriguing. story of brilliant engineer whose identity disappeared and everything he owns was change- yeah reminds me of that Neeson movie.

while i was going through the live action manga movies, most of them were acted by Kento Yamazaki with various female leads.  he was also perfect in all the roles.  I am looking for his recent movie THE WOLF GIRL AND THE BLACK PRINCE.  still not got the video yet on any websites.  If anyone happens to have the link, please post it here.  thank you.  BTW, i watched TOMA IKUTA's WE WERE THERE both PART 1 AND 2,( Bokura ga Ita Kohen   and  Bokura ga Ita Zenpen) with Yuriko Yoshitaka.  I loved it so much.  very nice dorama.   And thank you for all the recommendations,  its really helpful as to what dorama can be given the preference to watch first.

@ru5h it's not good as the TW version.. That is really the best one!

@padhari I'm not really YK fan.I didn't finish Death Note last year but Kento is the best young Japanese actors atm. He should  do a drama with much weight and good story line and writing.. like Orange. We'll see his good acting. Maybe remake of  Tatta  Hitotsu No Ko.

Yup, that Kimi wa petto.  I really didn't think this drama needed a remake. (I felt the same way about Death Note.) The actor's name is Jun Shison, and he plays the jerky young coworker who is also Sanae's former boyfriend.

@Aziraphale, @Kathy I agree with both of you about Kageri Yuku Natsu. (I think I've probably said this before, but I don't mind repeating myself for that drama.   )
I have a long list of wowow channel shows that I want to watch, but the lack of English subs and/or Japanese captions is kind of a hurdle even if they're only five episodes long.  

This week I resumed watching Juhan Shuttai after putting it on hold some months ago. I loved this drama from the first episode and I still do, I have no idea why I stopped watching it midway through.

@jongski, I love seeing YK only in romcom, high school characters.  I also did not see Death Note coz its kinda sci-fi genre.  I really love him in suki na hito ga iru koto.  finally today 29th, ep 7 tonite.

As for  remakes of dramas. There are classic dramas you leave  as it is. For me.  I don't want to see any remakes of....lets say Pride or Orange Days, Long Vacation. among others. These classic dramas..esp Pride!  that's like.... love! However, there are dramas I wanna see  remake and one of them is Nobuta Wo Produce..  so many good young Japanese actors right now

 Currently also watching the ff:

Aogeba Totoushi -but the rest hasn't been sub. I've been waiting. I wanna see them playing instruments.

 Awww yeah! after waiting eternity.... episode 8 of Age Harassment has been sub!! Finally! thanks whoever subbed.  I've been waiting!
 I had that very long  recap post page 6. That's how much I want in to that drama.
