Has anyone watched Rorouni Kenshin?  Looks like all 3 seasons will be on Netflix.  Wondering if it's worth the watch.

I watched the movie Rorouni Kenshin: The Beginning (2021)..I read it is a final chapter of the live-action series.

I liked the cast and the action scenes.

Shinsengumi Will You I Bloom

I watched the first two episodes

there are so many characters and the acting is overdramatic in some scenes.

I guess it is usual for a manga adaptation

The first encounter between Kyujuro and Daisaku was under the cherry blossom and it was a nice scene.

But Daisaku is a complex character. Kyujuro is a naive and sincere guy.

Liked the scene with Okita...

The Name Of The Game Is Kidnapping, ep 3

that was a crazy plot twist. The ML is smart but he didnt check if the girl, the FL, is really the daughter of the CEO.

Spoiler

Now the real daughter is dead and the fake Juri disappeared along with the ransom money.

I just saw there is only  4 eps.

0:14...I liked the view from the terrace of the cafe  in Yokosuka.

The Name of the Game is Kidnapping

the final episode was good.

the highlights for me are how Sakuma and the FL covered each other in the police station.

The CEO Katsuraga was ruthless and arrogant  but his daughter and  Sakuma were smarter.

I started The Old Dog, New Tricks on Netflix.  It started kinda depressing.  A soccer star finds himself without a team.  He's unprepared to do anything unrelated to soccer, but isn't qualified for any related job.  He was on his hands and knees begging a talent agency to find a soccer related job.  Because he has to support his family, he looks for another job, but sadly not qualified for many.  I think his luck is going to change.

Started another drama--No Side Manager.  This one is about a man who was demoted.  Part of his new job is to energize the company's rugby team.  I didn't know Japan was into rugby.

Finally finished Black forceps.  I found a bit draggy in the middle episodes, but the ending was good.  I understand season 2 is now airing.

****

No Side Manager and Old Dog new tricks are draggy as well.
