Upcoming tvN drama 'High School King' releases posters featuring Seo In Guk
tvN's upcoming Monday and Tuesday drama 'High School King' gets ready to replace 'Witch's Romance' with the release of posters featuring the lead, Seo In Guk. 
The two posters show Seo In Guk's character, an 18-year-old high school student trying to juggle a secret double life as an ice hockey star at school and a director at his father's company in place of his older brother. One poster portrays this perfectly by showing both sides to himself physically.  
The actors entered filming in early May and the first episode will premiere on June 16! If you haven't yet, you can also check out the teaser released in the previous article here.

Upcoming tvN drama “High School King,” set to replace “Witch”s Romance” in two weeks, has released another teaser featuring the male lead, Seo In Guk.

The video well captures the naive high school student and ice hockey star who finds himself having no choice but to work as a director at his father”s company despite his young age, leading to a secret double life!

There is definitely going to be a lot of humorous moments and character development, so make sure to check out the first episode on June 16.

Can't wait fro this one to start because it will be so much fun,totally loving the guys in this show and hope the girls will be as mich fun as them...so from the chart our heroine is in love with Lee Soo Hyuk charcater while her younger sis in love with our arrogant hero and i guess he will like the bubbly older sister...i guess it would be kinda to much to ask for a future bromance between Soo Hyuk char. and In Guk char. eh
tvN has such a strong line-up this year,for me at least,till now i've watched all their dramas and the upcoming will surely be a watch as well,oh boy,my time!oh well,i will say i learn korean even better with all this line-up to come :))

Seo In Guk took to the ice to put his skills as an ice hockey star on display in still cuts for his upcoming tvN Mon-Tues drama “High School King”!

He apparently prepared for these scenes by taking lessons for two months from a professional ice hockey player, demonstrating his dedication to his acting.

The drama”s staff stated, “Seo In Guk normally likes sports and because of his athleticism, there was no major difficulty during filming. But due to filming for two days straight in a heavy hockey uniform, it must have been very hard stamina-wise for him. He still kept up an energetic atmosphere with his vigor that is characteristic of a high school student, making a satisfying cut.”


As mentioned previously, Seo In Guk plays the lead role of Lee Min Suk who lives a double life as a high school student and company director at just 18 years of age. “High School King” is set to premiere following “Witch”s Romance” on June 16 at 11 PM KST!

Seo In Guk and Lee Ha Na faced off in a comedic dance battle in teasers for their upcoming tvN Mon-Tues drama 'High School King'!
Fans got to see a never-before-seen side of Seo In Guk who surprised them with his sexy body waves and hip shaking. Lee Ha Na also wasn't afraid to let loose with her stiff yet adorable dance moves that made even Seo In Guk break out into a big smile.

"The King of High School Manners" Seo In-guk on the ice

Newest romance comedy "The King of High School Manners" is about the turn of events that take place when a high school student is made an executive of a major firm. Many are looking forward for this drama's first broadcast, which is on the 16th of June.
In the role of Lee Min-seok, student and ice hockey player of Poongjin High is Seo In-guk. An image cut of him gives the whiff of a wild sports player who might weaken the knees of several women. Seo In-guk is in the middle of a hockey game, showing beads of sweat coming down with heavy breathing. This is very different from the innocent image seen in "Answer to 1997", which he played as Yoon Yoon-je. Watching him compete for victory on the ice will be one of the many things to see in this drama.
Seo In-guk took two months worth of lessons in hockey from national athlete Ahn Geun-yeong and the Gwangundae hockey team.
"The King of High School Manners" crew says, "Seo In-guk likes working out and he's a very refined sports player, so there wasn't much trouble although he's physically exhausted because of the long hours of filming in that heavy suit. However, thanks to his hard work, we have enough footage for us to say that we are satisfied".
Meanwhile, a teaser for "The King of High School Manners" was released in the official homepage which is expected to raise anticipation for the drama.
"The King of High School Manners" will be broadcasted on the 16th.

tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama, “High School King,” revealed stills of the filming set. This exciting new drama will blow away the intense heat this summer.

“High School King” is a story about an immature high school student who suddenly works for a big company. Each episode will show comedic office situations and is currently set to air after “A Witch’s Romance.”

Seo In Guk will be playing the role of Lee Min Suk, who is an ice hockey player for his high school. In the revealed stills, Seo In Guk transformed into a manly hockey player and his charismatic charms were shown when he stood in the rink.

Unlike the innocent role he played in “Reply 1997,” he showed a different side of himself through the way he played roughly on the ice rink and the way he suppressed his opponents through this glare. One of the fun points of this drama is the exhilarating competition that will occur on the cool ice rink.

For this drama, Seo In Guk met with the “Hockey Fairy,” Ahn Geun Young and the Kwangwoon University hockey team and received special training for two months.

The production staff of “High School King” revealed the atmosphere of the set by saying, “Seo In Guk likes to exercise so there wasn’t a big difficulty during filming, however, I’m sure he’s really tired physically from wearing the heavy hockey uniform and continuously filming for two days. In order to portray an active high school student, his acting wasn’t lacking at all and we were able to continuously film with a lively atmosphere. Through it, we were able to get satisfactory cuts and we plan to make this drama a refreshing one for the viewers.”
