*problem With Internet Explorer*

can someone help me out.

Webpages wont load when I use Internet Explorer. [everything works fine with Opera or Firefox] I can see the text but i cannot see the pictures. I don't really use IE anymore, but I still need it for clubbox.

I use Windows 2000.

tools -> internet options -> advanced.

see if the selection "show pictures" is checked or not.
