I have had this same conversation so many times about these crazy perms they gives these actress in these dramas.. I was told it's how all of them classified themselves once they reach a certain age as ajjuma's.. The perms help identify who they are since they so in to age system thing   
So don't be expecting OhYi Seo to change her hair because it's apart of her charactacter .. And we will have to look at those homely clothes..
So the first daughter in-law didn't tell Halmoni that IH was the cause of the accident .. I look for first DIL to go out and make a name for herself running her on business and still beat out 2 DIL..

I just watch ep 6 and i think that they adopt the child because it remainds them of eun bi. And i do think that during the series jang bori will style her hair straight cuz thats how in the posters show.

@valsava I'll wait until you watch the subs but I'll just say that first DIL did tell the family about the accident but because of a hair pin, they didn't really believe her. You'll have to see it to pull your hair out. 
I know it's a part of her character but how can she be an ahjumma at that age? It's quite puzzling to me but I guess because she grew up in that environment, she's ahjumma-like. It's always unfortunate to see heroines have bad hair but more power to them when its in character. If Mirae had a makeover, I'd expect at some point, Oh Yeon Seo will too but I won't hold my breath for it.

At this point in the drama the only thing I want to know is how long it will take for them to realize Bo-rai is their daughter? And that the adopted daughter knew where their real daughter was the whole time? Its 50 episodes so my guess is episode 20 or 30. 
Bor-rai will grow up with her aunt in her life.

Kara‘s Han Seung Yeon will soon make her appearance on the MBC drama “Jang Bo Ri is Here.” The recent images showed the singer being welcomed by her mother at the Incheon Airport. Yet by the looks of it, it seemed that Han Seung Yeon’s character won’t be receiving much of a warm welcome. 

In the upcoming May 4 episode, Han Seung Yeon will appear as actress Geum Bo Ra‘s daughter Ga Eul who is a spoiled trouble maker. Despite her mother’s efforts to try and make Ga Eul learn English, Ga Eul’s return to Korea with nothing more than shopping bags and a face altered by plastic surgery caused Geum Bo Ra’s character to erupt in anger. 

As Han Seung Yeon’s character knows nothing but herself, it will be interesting to watch Ga Eul mature in the coming episodes. In regards to her thoughts on acting in “Jang Bo Ri is Here,” Han Seung Yeon expressed, “I am happy that I was able to conclude filming for my scene through the help of veteran actors who act as my family members in the drama.”

Episode 8 of  MBC’s “Jang Bo Ri is Here” featuring Han Seung Yeon’s first appearance will broadcast on May 4 at 8:45 PM (KST).

From what I read she is wearing an Ahjumma wig and will later have the straight style but I agree she is way to young to be dressing and acting that way.. but I think it is a security blanket for her with her memory loss that is why she latched on to that woman (very clingy) calling her ma.. I am looking forward to seeing what triggers her memory of her parents , aunt and her friend and when they will realize it is her as well. I am sure she will prolly keep it a secret that the girl has been living the life with her parents knowing where she is. The actress playing the other girl was my favorite in Daring Women.. and I hate that she will play a role that allows her to take over someone else life and take her family.. because she knew that the girl belonged to that family and she did not tell. I want to see how long it takes for them to find out as well that she knew all along.

I do not think she has been seeing her aunt for long.. it has to have been when her appearance changed as she got older because even as much as the aunt knows that the woman caused the death of her husband she would not keep Eun Bi from her father and MIL. She would have recognized her when she was younger and knew she was missing. I expect both of them to show back up to the family.. the 1st DIL and Eun bi.. I hate that she lost her baby though.. that is sad to not have anything left from her husband. I am glad that she continues to carry on.. because she has things she still needs to do and wrongs to be right.

I love this ep lol i laugh so hard even without subs when Bori meets Jaehwa and she splash back dirty water and give the same excuse as what he told her about splashing water to her mother. Hahahaha i just love that she dont care and fight back. I wonder when she will get her memory back. Also since i watch this ep without subs is min jung living with a man(her boyfriend))??

Ahh the whole memory loss ordeal..another typical k-drama plot. I'm back... LSY is a brat in this drama. I had wish for her to play the main actress who lost her memory.

On today's ep eun bi is going to be taking graduation pics for min jung and her real mom is going to be there anyway i cant watch todays ep cuz i work and i still have to watch ep 7 again with complete eng subs so i can understand what is really going on

@LdyGmerm,..I wonder will that MIL forgive crazy 2nd DIL because the real Eb shows back up and will she would want the First DIL back after she learns about the 2 DIL caused the accident.. I hope she never goes back there and why the mouthy fake Eb mother letting her do something like this it's wrong she teaching this lil girl all wrong which all this is going to come back and bite her later and the fake Eb get's kick out..

Where are you finding the reviews to this drama..? I decided to watch when the subs come out but would like to know where I could read the reviews on this drama so I can get a little insight to whats going on.. I so think the mother also knows this girl belongs to the rich family..

@valsava she did not want 1st DIL to leave in the first place.. but this woman knew that her sister in law caused the accident that killed her husband and when she tried to tell them they did not want to believe her. Then she told them I think that EB was running away after the car and they did not want to listen as her SIL produced her barrette and told them EB was not with her I think.  (The woman is truly nuts in my thoughts) She never knew she was back there or she blocked it out after what she did, because I could have sworn she looked in rear view mirror and saw EB in the back seat. (I will have to re-watch the episode).

Frankly it is what the MIL deserved for treating that woman that way. She lost her husband sure he was your first born but she treated her badly before she left and had the nerve to jump on her about being cruel to that wench about/with EB being missing. Well that was not her fault that the little girl was missing. But I think the accident and what her MIL said to her just created more hurt and despair for her which is why she left with the intention to kill herself to join her husband.

Later when EB gets her memory back and tells it because she will (something will trigger that part of her memory)(reminds me of Ugly Alert and how the younger sister had been having nightmares until it all finally came out and fit in place) they will all realize that the 1st DIL was telling the truth about that night and that 2nd DIL killed her husband in that accident she intentionally caused and ran away from the scene leaving the 1st DIL and EB running after her.

As for this weekends episodes

It burned me up that girls mother a. let that grown child talk to her that way. b. allowed that child to be with those people. For me you deserve everything you get from her because you allowed her to deceive people. She thought she was letting her have a better life , but what she really taught her was that lying will get you what you want. The little girl was too grown and was caught up on material things at a young age.

What got me was she should not have been at that camp EB should have. She traced and traced until she got the drawing right even telling EB's father the exact words of EB playing on these peoples grief of their missing child. She was smart enough to pack her bag and leave telling those people she had no family I am sure she had to have thought on some level that the girl they found due to a car accident could be their daughter but she never even mentions it to them giving them hope because she wanted that spot.

Now 15 yrs later she is graduating college/design school whatever and that should have been EB but she is still taking those peoples grief and generosity. She has moved to the house and is in EB's old room and then sees her awards on the wall and makes a comment in today's episode. I will have to see subs to know whether she realized EB was talented or that Jang Bo Ri is EB. Even in the scene when she hugged EB's mother it seemed to me she wanted the women to forget her real child and replace her with her.

Like most stories they will be mad when they found out how close she was. I am not sure if it will come out that the girl is related to the woman that took care of EB for 15 yrs when she is found or it will come out later that she is the girls mother and she lied and said she had no one and that the girl knew her mother was taking care of a little girl they found and never told them. Either way they will prolly do the keep both of them but I would put her behind out for taking the place of another child. Greedy and Grasping.

I can not wait until Jang Bo Ri comes back home. I loved the fact that the husband found the red pouch that EB made and left in the car and saw her painting and the note on the back to her mother. I think he may realized that she was in that car like the sister in law said and that she may have caused that accident. But I will have to see subs to be sure. Because when he read the note on the back that had the date he had a thought. Then in the previews we see him having it out with her.

Even in this episode when the MIL realized the work on the pink Hanbok was her 1st DIL this woman had the nerve to say something to her husband that the MIL walked up on. She is a mess. I can not wait until the 1st DIL and EB come back.

I thought it was fitting that 1st DIL ask EB/JBR to be her apprentice. Who better then that woman's daughter to learn the right way and beat out the witch that took her place. Karma and all that as they say. I do feel bad that there is something wrong with her hand and she can no longer sew like she use too.. I need subs so bad for this show.. LOL.. weekend drama's always take a few days to have full subs.. but that is ok.. I can get much info in the thread

I can say other then EB and her friend (funny how they keep running into each other and bickering) I really do not care about his family that much. I dislike the stepmother at least no more purple eyeshadow.. I dislike that spoiled girl that came back with all that crap from abroad. I dislike the father .. but I enjoyed the Aunt.. with her straight hair and better clothing.. I am curious about who the guy was that had either his brother/uncle/father with the security that he caught outside of the building.

I like that they are giving the aunt a love story as she meets up with that guys brother/uncle who ever later when she falls to the ground on the side of the highway and dislocates her shoulder and he puts it back in and gives her a ride.. looks like love at first sight for her..

I am not sure what is going on with her and the boyfriend towards the end (I loved him in Bride of the Century) but her knocking that food out of his hand and then walking away was just awful. they are over I think.

The Greed the 2nd DIL had to take over from the mother in law is going to transfer to that girl watch and see. I see them cut from the same cloth they came from nothing and want every thing materialistic. That girl will latch on to the second son because he comes from a rich family. She will also covet wanting to take over from EB's mother. I predict a competition between EB and this girl just like before between the SIL's history repeating it's self.

What I do not want is for EB to work under her mother. I want her to continue as her Aunt's apprentice once they realize who she is and comes back.

For me , if they had told the police about EB I am sure they would have gotten a reward. But due to the mother's shady dealings they were scared to notify them.. depriving someone of their child for 15 yrs. Both in my view the mother and the daughter deserve jail time but I doubt we will see that. I am sure she will be forgiven just as the girl will be.

I thought I read somewhere that they swap back.. with EB coming back to her rich family and the other girl going back to hers.. but I could be wrong I hope it was so.. but they will prolly him and haw over what to do with her for a bit.

I guess the first DIL faults herself for her husbands death because Halmoni kept trying to tell her and she believed it but never thought she will go this far as to kill for the title so leaving might be her way of saying let her have it because First DIL knows she a better sewer then her anyway.. These two will come to a showdown again because I see first DIL making a name for herself while second DIL still stuck in the past with those Handboks.
As for the evil little brat she so has her's coming to.. I so see the real real Jb sending the debt collectors to her letting them know she that women's real daughter I see stealing from them to cover her mom's debt and getting in deeper and deeper with her lies.. I don't how a child at that age get so twisted at such a young age and her mom allows her to behave that way keeping the real Jb from her family all these years is akin for jail time.. The fake mom don't know it yet but she will find out.. So I guess 2nd DIL husband took over the company..? I need to watch these episodes because I missed the last weeks waiting on the subs won't do that anymore LOL..     .

I agree the mother does not know that she kept this child from her family for 15 yrs and that her daughter took the girls spot but she will wait and see. But like all of these characters, protecting her daughter will be more important then really righting the wrong that she has done. I am not sure if the younger brother is dealing with the company because I think the Older brother was either a accountant or lawyer or something in the Wife's BIL's company.  Remember in an earlier episode he was meeting the man who had two children out of wed lock .. I want that woman he brought in to get hers too she deserves it for sleeping with another woman's husband, having not one but two children and making her self know on the night the woman died. Then walking into the woman house trying to erase traces of her, push her son out of the way and have a nerve to be mean to her sister and covet stock. He deserves some too for doing that to his wife and son.
