′What′s With This Family′ Gets Two Additional Episodes
What′s With This Family will be getting episode extensions. 
According to a KBS What′s With This Family affiliate on January 5, What′s With This Family, originally scheduled for 50 episodes, will be getting two more episodes, ending with a total of 53 episodes. 


The affiliate explained, "It was supposed to be 50 episodes, but in the middle, one episode had to get canceled. So we were going to end it with 51 episodes, but actually ended up getting three more episodes, ending at 53 episodes." 
The drama has currently aired a total of 41 episodes. It will end with 53 on February 15. 
Currently, the ratings for What′s With This Family is soaring. According to AGB Nielson Korea, the January 4 episode of What′s With This Family recorded 40.7 percent. It was a 1.6 percent rise from its previous episode, which received 39.1 percent. 
On the December 28, 2014 episode recorded 41.2 percent, the drama′s highest so far, proving to be a national drama. 
What′s With This Family also won big at the 2014 KBS Drama Awards on December 31, 2014, where Yoo Dong Geun, Kim Hyun Joo, Kim SAng Kyung, and more received high honors. The drama is also the first to hit 40 percent in ratings in 2015. 
Following What′s With This Family will be The House of the Blue Bird (translated), starring Han Joo Wan, Kyung Soo Jin, Choi Myung Gil, Chun Ho Jin, and more. It will begin February 21.
