Brief Synopsis

Park Dong Joo, a fireman’s son and Yoon Soo Wan (who’s blind), a daughter of a hospital head; these two young first loves are forced to separate because of a painful family history. An accident causes her to lose her sight, but thankfully she receives a cornea transplant and now she’s able to see again. This transplant changes her life to the better. As an emergency medical technician working for 119 Rescue Service, she’s well known as a warm person but deep down she’s hurting because of the memory of her first love, Dong Joo. Dong Joo is a smart & kind-hearted man who dreams of becoming a fireman like his father, but he ends up as a doctor. 12 years after their separation, fate re-unites them together.

Beautiful & sweet love story between Park Dong Joo & Yoon Soo Wan, and strong bonding & friendship between 119 emergency workers.

신예 이하율이 '엔젤아이즈'에 캐스팅됐다.

6일 소속사 측은 "신예 이하율이 SBS 새 주말 특별기획 드라마 '엔젤아이즈' (가제, 극본 윤지련 연출 박신우)에 캐스팅 됐다"라고 밝혔다.

'엔젤 아이즈'는 아픈 가족사 때문에 첫 사랑을 떠나 보낸 남녀 주인공이 12년 후 다시 만나 벌어지는 이야기를 그린 멜로 드라마로 이하율은 소방서의 훈남 구조대원 '김진수' 역을 맡아 열연을 펼칠 예정이다.이하율 (사진=제이와이드컴퍼니)

이에 이하율은 "119 구조대원의 모습을 잘 표현해 내기 위해 소방교육과 훈련도 열심히 받고 있다. 많은 선배님들이 나오시는데 이번 드라마를 통해 많이 배우고 많은 것을 보여드릴 수 있도록 열심히 하겠다. 많은 기대 부탁 드린다"고 소감을 전했다.

한편 '엔젤아이즈'는 오는 4월 방송될 예정이다.

7일 김지석의 소속사 클로버컴퍼니는 "김지석이 SBS 새 주말특별기획 '엔젤 아이즈'(윤지련 극본, 박신우 연출)에 출연한다"고 밝혔다.

'엔젤 아이즈'는 아픈 가족사 때문에 첫 사랑을 떠나보낸 남녀 주인공이 12년 후 다시 만나 벌어지는 이야기를 그린 멜로드라마. '야왕'과 '유령'을 공동 연출한 박신우 PD와 '꽃보다 남자'를 집필한 윤지련 작가가 의기투합했다.

김지석은 '엔젤 아이즈'에서 신경외과 전문의 강지운 역을 맡았다. 강지운은 배려심 깊은 성품에 의사로서 사명감도 남다른 그야말로 이 시대의 '엄친아' 신랑감. 한결 같고 변함없는 마음으로 박동주(이상윤) 윤수완(구혜선) 사이에서 삼각 로맨스를 펼친다.

이에 김지석은 소속사를 통해 "의사 역은 처음 해 본다. 의사라는 극중 직업도 중요하지만 무엇보다 책임감 강하고 늘 한결같은 로맨티스트인 강지운을 만들어 보고 싶다"는 포부를 밝혔다.

한편 '엔젤 아이즈'는 '세 번 결혼하는 여자' 후속으로 4월 초 방송된다.

Actor Gong Hyung Jin was cast in SBS new weekend drama "Angel Eyes" (script Yoon Ji Ryun, director Park Shin Woo).

On March 4th, according to the management company SM C&C, "Angel Eyes" is about a man and woman that meet 12 years later after leaving their first loves and si a mellow drama. Here, Gong Hyung Jin plays the role of rescuer "Ki Woon Chan" who is a veteran fireman.

Ki Woon Chan is a person that knows all sides of the fire station such as the fire engines, rescue cars and the ambulance and says the worst to the female protagonist Soo Wan (played by Goo Hye Sun) but the person that recognizes and worries about her the most.

In addition, he is a single dad that is a widower who is strong on the outside but is a naïve person when it comes to women.
Gong Hyung Jin expressed his determination saying, "As much as he plays the role of a veteran fireman, he received training and showed realistic acting as he wants to show great acting."

Meanwhile, last year, Gong Hyun Jin showed great presence in the SBS Wednesday/Thursday drama "Everything about my dating" and tvN "Basketball" and will be showing heavy presence in April through "Angel Eyes."
