Congrats to Yoona and Lee Seung Gi!  May you both find happiness!

I hope the crazy negative fans and antis leave them alone and they are allowed to have their privacy and progress their relationship without any hatred or negative feelings from their fans.  And I hope that SME supports them and doesn't give up on their support for Yoona in this relationship just because of a few rabid anti fans.

I believe this is an important step forward in how Koreans treat their idols.  I hope other idols are allowed to have normal relationships with someone they love in the future without having to be driven to desperation and despair by hateful fans!

They're so innocent and pure that even their dating methods are the like that! Because they're still in the initial phase, they're not focusing on intimacy but rather getting to know each other. That's the kind of relationship that hints 'long-term'. Because they aren't driven by passion that evaporates as soon as the honeymoon phase is over. They're more like friends turned lovers. yep timing is everything.  Both have transcended the whole It boy/girl thing and have established fame/fans that will be (mostly) supportive and both are more mature and grown up.  Had they dated back then they probably wouldn't have lasted because of their age and other issues.

Not only that, Lee Seung Gi and Yoona never dated over an hour, so that is the reason, Dispatch us called it as 'A Cinderella Date', due to their time to see each other as well as the love story between the Prince and Cinderella in Fairy Tale.
This is the most interesting date that Dispatch ever seen. Date in role model way, date with pureness and completely no touching or intimate like an usual couple.

I do like this part. And a bit envy of them. Their dating is so pure simple. They spent a short-free-time by talking to getting know more each other. We do know both are a celeb who had a hectic-crazy-schedule. But they still manage to meet even for an hour.
And Sooyoung is the first member who congratulated her in public. but I bet all SNSD member already congratulated YoonGi couple before this pop-out by media.
Now I'm waiting for Seunggi and Yoona appear in public and talking about their relationship. Since SNSD will make a comeback soon, I hope to see Yoona talking about her current relationship with SG 8->

ps: I think I have to read "Shall We Date?" later. I have no idea about this novel before. thanks to YoonGi couple, now I know it was LSG's novel. )

I don't expect Lee Seung Gi and Im Yoon A to date out of all the South Korean celebrities, but the news that they're an item make me smile with joy. I hope that they overcome the attention from both the fans and the public and date happily until thoughts of marriage come along.
