    Plot

    Hikari (Masaki Aiba) works at a book store. He is a kind person, but his kindness often makes him look pathetic. Hikari hopes to become a manga writer. At night he sprays mysterious flyers "Debikuro Communication". One day, he meets someone via fate.

    Anna (Nana Eikura) has been Hikari’s friend since they were children. So-Young (Han Hyo-Joo), who is a world famous lighting designer, happens to know Hikari. Kitayama (Toma Ikuta) graduated from the same university as Hikari. Kitayama is also a popular manga writer. 

    The love lives of these four people makes a miracle at Christmas night.

Arashi’s Masaki Aiba gets his first starring film role in “Miracle: Debikuro-kun no Koi to Maho”

On Wednesday it was annouinced that Masaki Aiba of the boy band Arashi will get his first solo starring film role in Isshin Inudo’s Miracle: Debikuro-kun no Koi to Maho. Aiba previously worked with Inudo on 2007’s Yellow Tears, in which all of Arashi was featured.

Aiba’s co-stars will include Toma Ikuta, South Korean actress Han Hyo-joo, and Nana Eikura. The film will depict the love of these four characters creating a miracle on Christmas night.

The movie is based on a 2013 novel by Kou Nakamura (100 Kai Naku Koto) which was inspired by singer-songwriter Tatsuro Yamashita’s classic Japanese Christmas song, “Christmas Eve”.

Aiba will play Hikaru, a mildly incompetent bookstore employee who’s just a bit too nice for his own good. Hikaru is an aspiring manga artist, and distributes mysterious “Debikuro Communication” flyers at night.

Eikura will play a childhood friend of Hikaru’s named Anna who always watches over him, Han will play a world-famous lighting designer named So-yeon who gets to know Hikaru through a random coincidence, and Ikuta will play a former university classmate of Hikaru’s named Kitayama who’s gone on to become a hugely popular manga artist.

“Miracle: Debikuro-kun no Koi to Maho” will be released in Japan in Fall 2014.

Korean actress Han Hyo-joo will start filming her first-ever Japanese movie by renowned Japanese director Issin Inudo.

Han has been cast in Inudo’s new Japanese movie “Miracle Debikuro Gun’s Love and Magic” (translated title), her agency BH Entertainment said in a press release Thursday.

Opposite to Japanese top idol group Arashi’s member Aiba Masaki, the actress will take on world-renowned Korean lighting designer in the novel-turned-movie.

Based on named novelist Nakamura Kou’s “Cry 100 Times” inspired by Yamasita Tasturo’s legend J-pop “Christmas Eve,” the movie will be helmed by famed director Isshin Inudo of “Josee, the Tiger and the Fish” and “House of Himiko.”

“I have always loved films by Issin Inudo and I’m very glad to join his new film as a big fan of him. While reading the scenario, I thought it is a heart-warming story which has two sides in it, realistic yet pure and innocent yet mature,” Han showed her excitement.

The movie’s producing firm Asumic Ace also showed their satisfaction that, “We have decided cast Han with her pure and refreshing image. Her various filmography also proved her wide spectrum of acting and great acting skills. We’re very glad to work with her.”

Co-starring Japanese model-turned-actress Nana Eikura and idol star Toma Ikuta, the movie will crank in next January and open in the Japanese theaters next Autumn.

HAN Hyo-joo is one of those three, who is a world-famous lighting designer, So-yeon. Actress Han Hyo Joo is confirmed to appear in the Japanese film by renowned director Issin Inudo.

On December 26th, her agency BH Entertainment announced,“Han Hyo Joo has been cast in Inudo’s new Japanese movie‘Miracle Debikuro Gun’s Love and Magic’.”

‘Miracle Debikuro Gun’s Love and Magic’ is based on novel “Cry 100 Times” inspired by Yamasita Tasturo’s legend J-pop “Christmas Eve,”. Han Hyo Joo will take the role of a Korean lighting designer.

“As a fan of director Issin Inudo, I am pleased to work with him. After reading the script, I thought it was a warm story. I think the characteristics of both purity and grown-up co-exist.”, Han said.

The movie producing company Asumic Ace said “We decided to cast Han Hyo Joo for her pure and refreshing aura. There is no reason to hesitate for she had sufficient acting spectrum and ability in her previous projects. We are very glad to work with her”.

‘Miracle Debikuro Gun’s Love and Magic’ will start shooting next month and to be released next autumn. It stars Aiba Masaki of Japanese boyband Arashi, Japanese model-turned-actress Nana Eikura and idol star Toma Ikuta.

Arashi member Aiba Masaki will star in a movie "MIRACLE Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou" that is set for release sometime in fall 2014. This will mark Aiba's first leading role.
This is a live-action film adaptation of Nakamura Ko's novel "Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou", which usesYamashita Tatsuro's masterpiece "Christmas Eve" as its motif.

The protagonist is a bookstore worker "Hikaru" (Aiba) who has a dream to be a Mangaka. Hikaru is a chicken but has a kind heart. At night, he passes out leaflets titled "Debikuro Tsushin."
Eikura Nana makes an appearance as Hikaru's childhood friend "Anna" who watches over Hikaru, and Korean actress Han Hyo-joo plays a world famous lighting designer named "So-yeon" who Hikaru accidentally encounters. Also, Ikuta Toma plays the role of a very popular Mangaka "Kitayama", who is a college classmate of Hikaru. The four will be involved in a love story.


The movie is directed by Inudo Isshin, who Aiba has previously worked with in the 2007 movie "Kiiroi Namida".


Aiba commented, "It is a love story with a fantasy element that is perfect for Christmas. Since my birthday is on Christmas Eve, I feel like being able to be a part of this movie is fate!"


"MIRACLE Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou" will be released in fall of 2014.

Actress Han Hyo-joo's Japanese movie Miracle is about to start.

According to Han Hyo-joo's agency, she will be residing in Japan for a month in February for the making of the movie which starts this 18th.

Miracle is the movie based on the novel "Cry 100 Times" by Nakamura Wataru motivated by the song "Christmas Eve" by Yamasita Tatsuro. This fantasy love story of 4 men and women is drawn in animated version.

Han Hyo-joo takes on the role of Tae So-yeon, a worldwide renowned space lighting designer. She is co-starring with the group members of Arashi, Aiba Masaki, Eikura Nanwa Ikuta Toma and others.

Miracle will be released in Japan in 2014 spring.

imageAnd so according to sources, <Miracle> will be shown in 27th Tokyo International Film Festival. It is rumoured that the four casts will be attending. Date: October 23rd - October 31st 2014(The movie will be shown on October 26th.)
