[Variety] Happy Sunday -1 Night, 2 Days (1박 2일) S3 :KBS 1N2D S3 MISS ALL MEMBER -STAFF EXCEPT JY :PAGE 447 END MARCH 2019

Why??  This is not gambling??  It’s a bet between friends?  Whoever wins gets the prize money?  It’s not gambling in a casino?  Surely this is taking it too far?  Where does it end?  It’s not the same as filming illegal sex videos?  If he has to reflect so does everyone in Korea who has ever betted or put money in a kitty to say “winner takes all”?   I am so sad and mad at the same time.  Good people taken out by the slur of another in their family when they have been nothing but kind to him?  :tears:

I don't think JM has a chance of being implicated. He's too cautious if he's not being his variety character and has not much free time with his schedule.

KBS news throwing 1n2d under the bus is really detestable. The variety department pds took part in the strike to help them and this is what they are doing to their programmes.

JH and TH both released apologies already. JH also hoped that there won't be baseless accusations towards the younger brothers.

I do not know about the others, but somehow I feel proud of CTH. LOL:blush::thumbsup:

To recognize and assume his responsibility with society and get away makes  think that he really is sorry and dismayed with all this. perhaps their withdrawal is also in some way to appease the speculations and avoid more serious repercussions and prevent this from becoming a witch hunt for the other members.

we have all seen the 2d1n chat and they are always bluffing, I also read some comments that all this is nothing more than a smoke screen.

let's hope everything calms down and give time to time. and give it to Koreans

the only thing I can hope for is that at some point the 2d1n family will return. I do not lose faith:wub:

"Furthermore, I hope there are no more misunderstandings and falsifications about my younger colleagues who are working hard for their broadcasts"

Ever since thing started to get blown, I am very afraid that it could come to this. I wont talk about the case but I would like to share my concern on how the media and police handling the case. I have been burn before with cases involving korean artist, so by now I am not really shocked if any scandal been dug out. My problem with the media and the police is that cant they just be a bit discrete putting names out there unless it is 100% sure that the said person really involve and will get indictment. As a country and society that put much value of having good manners and propriety, having the names of celebrities out without confirmation of the seriousness/ truth with what been alleged will only make the person cited facing the wrath of netizen with no way of defending themselves. Later when everything turn out not to be that serious/true, the damage to their image already been done, in the society like korea you can only apologize and retired for sometime. This is a repeated cycle every time scandal happens. Those that already been link to the scandal with proper evidence, I will leave it to the police and hoping that they will have a fair trial.

I hope that the police should be discrete with their evidence by not letting it circulating so that others can make speculation. Media should stop this scandal hunting just to sell your site. In case of CTH, I do believe what he said in his statement and I see that he is the victim in this massive media hunting right now. If your joke with your friend in your private time can become a crime.. I really dont know what the world has become to. Alas this has hurt the show too much..just take a break for the time, we'll see what will happen then.

I agree, now it's scary for all the participants of the show. Those two have completely left the television, but the remaining participants want to save, protect and shield from the raging storm.:tears:

I hope only for one thing that outside the show the participants will still communicate and support each other. Now they especially need this friendship.

So i have read both of the statements of KJH and CTH. They have played a game among friends and betted, after winning immediately returned money. Does this count as gambling? I don't think so, aren't we betting something everytime we play games with friends?

I am gonna watch old episodes now. I want to be happy.

https://www.soompi.com/article/1310861wpp/kim-joon-ho-responds-to-illegal-betting-reports-and-announces-departure-from-all-programs

Later in the day, Kim Joon Ho spoke up through his agency. Below is a full translation of the statement:

Hello. This is JDB Entertainment.

We apologize for the concern we have caused due to yesterday’s report about comedian Kim Joon Ho’s golf gambling. Here is Kim Joon Ho’s official statement regarding the issue.

Hello. This is comedian Kim Joon Ho.

Firstly, I apologize for causing disappointment and concern to many people with a shameful event.

Contrary to the reports about golf gambling, I did not play golf overseas with my colleagues in 2016. [The betting] was also simply meant to make the game more entertaining, and we returned the money [to its original owner] at the site after the game was over.

As a public figure, and as the big brother of ‘2 Days & 1 Night,’ I should have set a good example, and I am deeply repenting on the fact that I was not able to do so. I fully realize that I am responsible for this issue and have decided to step down from all of my programs.

Furthermore, I hope there are no more misunderstandings and falsifications about my younger colleagues who are working hard for their broadcasts.

I will work harder to become a person with a greater sense of responsibility.

Once again, I deeply apologize for causing concern to many people.

I apologize.

Just gonna leave this here:

Netizens think the Cha Tae Hyun-Kim Jun Ho golf gambling news is just to take the focus away from the real issues

20190316-gamblejpg.jpg

Netizens are not impressed at Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jun Ho's gambling news.

Many are seeing it as taking the focus away from various things, including the political situation, Jang Ja Yeon's case being reopened, and even Seungri and Jung Joon Young

Netizens pointed out, "I don't really care what they do with their own money. Aren't there bigger problems right now..?", "I'm not saying Cha Tae Hyun betting is a good thing, but why does it feel like the focus is being turned away?", "Jung Joon Young's phone was confiscated to investigate the distribution of illegal videos, prostitution, and his ties to the police, but why is something like this, which is unrelated, being distributed? Even in court, when something unrelated comes out, even if it's illegal, they are not questioned and are kept in secret. Is this really something for the 9 o' clock news to handle? Is all the media can do talk about golf betting? What a disappointment", "They're trying hard to turn the focus away. Seungri's articles and Jang Ja Yeon's articles are all gone", and more.

Others are saying that what the pair did is not even a problem: "I don't get what the problem is. Is it a crime to bet on a game of golf with your friends..?", "Is it really necessary for him to leave like this?", etc.

What do you think about their point?

With all this I became paranoid and I keep updating the news every time with the fear of meeting another member making the stop in their activities.

I think I could not stand to see Donggu doing this, if he is involved or something comes out of it, seriously that would mean that we are all lost, LOL

PD: do not get it wrong, I just want us to relax a bit,

making strength for the program to come back very soon!!!!

personally, i can’t see any of the other members (besides maybe yongjin) continuing on with the show after the departure of kjh, cth, & jjy. i’ve always envisioned all of them leaving at the same time and i think that’s what they wanted too. anyways, i’ve kind of felt like season 3 had run its course since a little while ago so i can accept its end a bit easier. i just wish the circumstances were different. as for cth and kjh, i hope they can bounce back quickly. thankfully it seems like the public’s response to their friendly golf betting isn’t too bad.

I am disappointed with KBS! I know that of course citizen's right to information comes first. But they should've verified Taehyun and Junho's case first before reporting it! Heck, this might just have been a small issue blown out of proportion! At first I was sad that 2d1n will be on hiatus and still wishing for the show's return, with all members intact(except JJY)..but now I'm particularly okay with them not returning anymore because of what happened with Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Junho. Can't other TV Stations make a variety show with these casts?

Now I can't stop thinking about different conspiracy theories..maybe somebody in the network has long been wanting the show axed for some reason...and got his chance when JJY scandal started..and then got a bonus when Taehyun, Junho and JJY's chat logs appeared..I'm sorry for over reacting..it's just that this show is so special to me...and I even felt like every Sunday when I watch them, I'm travelling with friends, uncles and brothersT.T

I even felt like a family member died when Kim Joohyuk died. After all these scandals..I'm not hoping anymore for the return of the show..but I just wish the best for the cast members and the Hardworking Staff....and I hope they can recover from what this JJY scandal did to them. As for JJY, I hope you learned your lesson..look at what happened to your Family and Closest Friends...an apology is not enough for what you did.

Why does it feel like it's the last episode this weekend???:flushed:

I think they canceled the episode for tonight and replaced it with something else.  Originally they were going to screen previously filmed footage with JJY's parts edited out but they found it was too hard to do that coz he was in too many frames.  And the episode they filmed on Friday recently in front of KBS will probably not been seen either.  So yes, no more 2D1N.  Indefinite hiatus.  With how KBS has treated CTH and KJH by throwing them under the bus (whilst they were still reeling from the betrayal by their maknae), chances of them ever wanting to come back would be minuscule.  In the space of a week, our beloved show has been ripped apart without a chance for us to even say goodbye.  Thanks for the good times.  The laughs.  What irony that the members all wanted cameos in DG's drama Your Honor.  They are living it now. :bawling:

I totally agree! People are distracted by giving small fish to be eaten to them, just born, and large fish swim so deep that you cannot find them. Moreover, Seungri and Jung Joon Young is also not the largest fish ... I'm sure someone else is behind them. But unfortunately, I do not think that this real drama will have a happy ending. Here justice may not triumph, and good people can be destroyed ...

[POP Focus] "Delayed announcement" ... KBS's worries about whether or not '1 night and 2 days'

In the meantime, the audience petition, which was posted on the bulletin board of the KBS audience, is divided into two opinions about whether or not the "one night and two days" should be abolished. As of 18th, there were 2933 people in the petition against the abolition (at 4:30 pm) and 2391 people in the petition for the abolition. According to the audience petition introduced last September, the person in charge of the related department directly replies to the petition that more than 1,000 viewers agreed.

KBS is also expected to take a close look at the existence of "one night and two days" in a situation where petition for proposal for abolition and opposition petition is being severely divided. How will the contents of the petition and the contents of the officers' meeting affect the existence of "1 night and 2 days"? Since the announcement of the official position of '1 night and 2 days' is delayed rather than the time that the public expected, the viewers watching are also getting tense about the issue.
