I haven't watch the episode, but I like how Joonho decided to make funny jokes instead of shed another tears at Gutaengi hyung's last resting place. I'm sure that's how the eldest hyung would want to share with the others, a lot of fun, a lot of love.

It will be a year tomorrow and I still miss you. I laughed and cried with the members, watching the episode while remembering you. As a JM fan watching 1n2d since the first episode (note: probably season 1), I personally liked the  times you were on the program the most. In this program with cameras rolling 24 hours, your kindness and warmth made it hard for me to not like you time and time again. It was really painful for me at this time of the year last year. From disbelief to refusing to accept it to slowly facing what happened, no one's departure, other than that of family and friends, has continuously caused me to cry. In my heart, you are not a star, but an older brother in the neighbourhood whom I have never met. This account basically does not post anything else other than stuff related to JM, but I always never hold back reposting news related to you, hoping that more people will know you and remember you. In the recent global viewers episode, when the fans went to JM's house, I saw the painting you gave to JM in JM's room. I believe that the 1n2d members, staff and fans will always remember you and love you.

 

I remembered last Christmas that I went to see you with a fan of JH, cake in hand. We took a bus for more than 2 hours from Seoul to Seosan, then took another bus for 40 plus stops. Since there was no naming of stops and the driver also had no clue, we relied on GPS all the way. At that time, there was no road sign to point us to your grave, so it was like what JY said, we got lost and searched frantically. When we finally stood before you, everything became so true, so cruel. We've never thought that we will see you for the first time in this manner. There were countless times I hoped to see your wedding, be a guest on 1n2d etc. There are too many regrets. Thank you for the laughter and touching moments you brought to us. Thank you for letting us know to cherish the people around us more. I can't make up for these regrets, but my memories of you will never change and will be kept well at the bottom of my heart.

 

Off-topic: When we left, it was really late. The sky was turning dark quick and it was very cold. There were fields everywhere with the exception of only a few houses. There was no bus schedule and we couldn't see anyone around. We nearly could not get back to Seoul but we weren't afraid in the slightest and happily said that we finally got to experience 1n2d once. Luckily, someone came out and pointed us to the waiting point and told us the timing, thus we managed to get back to Seoul. Now that I think of it, it was really meaningful. Because of 1n2d, because of hyung, we had one more beautiful memory.

 

JH's fan weibo account (I presume to be the one that accompanied him/her for the trip) commented that there's not place that is special from the beginning, it is only special because of the memories.

I also watched the latest episode twice. I still couldn't believe Gutaeng Hyung is gone and it only sank in when the members went to his grave. Watching the latest episode was like riding a roller coaster of emotions... I laughed then cried with them and laughed then cried again... Too many fun memories and now missing his presence is truly sad. I see they really miss their hyung so much!

Just finished watching the episode.

Whoever watched this season from the very beginning could never hold back the tears and would want to rewatch all the episodes while Joohyuk was still with us.

All the members were so lovingly reminiscing his memories. Hojin PD cried. Ilyong PD choked on his tears. 

I think it is a very beautiful episode, a beautiful way to look back and remember what they had together. Mathyung, 3G member, gutaeng, nicotine pass, all those nicknames are given with a lot of love. We will always love you, you will always be a member of the gang and your memory will be cherished forever. 

We will remember this member forever.

Totally agree with you... What attracted me to them the most was their awkwardness with each other at the beginning that eventually developed to closeness and brotherhood. I love their loyalty to each other. Their closeness is real even off cam.

I somehow feel that jjy will be leaving 1n2ds soon. From his IG posts, he currently has a popup restaurant in paris and will officially open a restaurant next year.

I dont know how he can juggle having a business and being a regular on a tv show~

i wish the 6 of them remain together for a long2 time. I will be so sad when 1n2ds announces its end

I don't think JY's restaurant has him as the sole person in charge though. It's likely a joint venture with his group of friends. JY is advertised as the CMO of the restaurant, the CEO is someone else. My personal opinion would be if JY ever wants to drop out of 1n2d first, he would drop out of his other currently airing shows first. Salty tour takes up more days of the week than one 1n2d filming. His other show on tvn asia also travels overseas. JY"s style of living is really total freedom. Professional gamer, restaurant owner, part of a band, releasing singles. He probably knows what he's doing since he already had a lot of work before adding the restaurant. I don't think him dropping out of 1n2d is that likely.

 

There's a lot of fanpics from this week's filming and supposedly they did a live broadcast. There're 3 guests for 3 groups, JM-JH, JY-DF, DG-TH. They're probably popular online celebrities. I recognised one from a Happy Together broadcast as a host of a children's show. 

 

They were having a battle over viewership and cheeky JY went to comment on JH's post to ask people to go over to view his stuff lol.

It's actually easier for celeb to manage their time between business and celebrity works rather than manage schedule for several TV shows. I mean Junho used to be a CEO of an agency lol.

 

Celebs most of the time have someone else run their business and it's the same thing with Joon Young. His pop up restaurant still open until next week yet he could easily came back to Korea in time to shoot 2d1n. He's also a singer and pro gamer. That's why he limited the amount of weekly shows he's doing and rarely guesting on TV shows anymore so he has time to do music, gaming, and business at the same time.
