Yesterday Lawrence Ng, Tavia Yeung, Kenneth Ma, Him Law, Mandy Wong and the rest of The Hippocratic Crush II cast attended the first promotional event. Last night, Netizens initiated a "No TV" night to support HKTV's licensing issue. Lawrence supported TVB won't get affected by HKTV. He said: "Why did they do that? There isn't ATV now, and the audience are watching TVB after all. In the past ATV had fought before, there was an ATV series by former TVB producer Gary Tang The Men of Justice, it was pretty high quality, but at the time why didn't anybody watch it? The audience were still watching TVB. If HKTV did get their license, they will have series releasing, but TVB will have The Hippocratic Crush III releasing as well. Then their destiny is the same as ATV, there isn't a difference! This incident, you can only said the government didn't grant them their license, it has nothing to do with TVB nor can you blame them (HKTV), its just not fair! TVB produced so many classics, the overseas audience enjoy their series too. If HKTV comes into the picture, is it guaranteed that they'll be better? I don't think so! I don't believe HKTV can defeat TVB!"

It was rumored Tavia Yeung and Moses Chan's manager Chan Ka Lei is leaving TVB to start her own company soon. Tavia was asked if she'll follow her manager and leave TVB as well? She expressed she still has a contract with TVB: "My contract doesn't end until next year. The news is just what the report said, I never said anything. I've been discussing with TVB on the contract terms now, but TVB will always be my first choice since I have been working here for over 10 years. I hope to spend more time with my mother and more opportunities to shoot films and develop in Mainland. I hope to go out and see the world." Tavia stressed she is unsure of where her manager is going, but hopes they'll have opportunities to collaborate again. As for TV Queen, Tavia won't give herself pressure, but this year she's supporting Linda Chung.

In regards to the rumor that Moses follow his manager and leave TVB, then TVB plans to heavily promote Kenneth Ma to the top? Kenneth joked: "Weren't they using an award to make Moses stay? TVB should first convince Moses to stay, then after two months promote me! (Compete for TV
King title?) The competition is fierce. I'll be satisfied enough to make it to the top five!"

Last year when TVB series The Hippocratic Crush aired, Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung's tearjerker love story had touched the hearts of many audience. When it was announced Lawrence Ng would join the cast in the sequel, many fans thought he would continue his popular Healing Hands role Dr. Paul Ching and feared he would get in between Kenneth and Tavia's relationship. However, we got it all wrong. Lawrence plays the all-new character Dr. Lokman, who went through an enormous change because of a negative family experience and turned cold-hearted. He refuses to face his patients and poses a strong contrast from Kenneth's style.

Producer Poon Ka Tak disclosed he especially got last year's Miss HK winner Tracy Chu to portray Lawrence's girlfriend, he said: "In the last season, Kenneth and Tavia went through so much before they could be together, so its not suitable for them to be involved in a love triangle. Lawrence Ng's addition just makes something perfect even more perfect. I've always liked to have an experienced artist lead a newcomer. Before I had Eliza Sam pair up with Chin Ka Lok in Divas In Distress, this time I see Tracy Chu had the potential and really fitted this type of role, her role is considered a tailored one. Lawrence really had the patience to teach her. I told Tracy to let go of her Miss HK identity. I don't want beauty, I want her to come out looking pure and simple. Lawrence, Kenneth and Tavia's interaction was wonderful, the feeling was very comforting."

Kenneth Severe Anxiety, Tavia Suffers a Spinal Tumor

Death is inevitable, everyone must go through it. Many characters in the series suffer from different diseases including Tavia, Lawrence, Eliza, Kenneth and Jerry Koo. Kenneth develops severe anxiety all because he was too worry about his wife Tavia. Poon Ka Tak said: "Kenneth and Tavia are a loving couple just like before, but because of Tavia's spinal tumor and her pregnnacy, her life is threatened. Kenneth gets too worried and gives her too inseparable attention. Tavia told him to relax and give her some space. Kenneth's anxiety level eventually gets really high and he developed depression. Later, Kenneth gets into a severe car accident, where he had to get surgery on both his head and heart, Tavia and Lawrence join hands and help him get that surgery done..."

Lawrence On Medications to Control Cancer

Lawrence's role suffers many years of cancer, and soon there exists small pathological changes in his cells. Poon Ka Tak said the cancer he has can be controlled by medications: "But he's always been laid back about it. Ultimately he goes for treatment for his daughter and Tracy Chu. He had an unpleasant experience, thus making him not want to face his patients. Kenneth misunderstood that he's a cold-hearted person. Lawrence grew up with Jerry, but his parents died in a fire accident and then his wife died from a heart attack. He saw his wife die in the surgery room with his very own eyes. He couldn't accept the fact and went missing for many years. Louisa So is Lawrence's wife younger sister, who despises him for being an irresponsible husband and father..."

Eliza Sam Dies from Organ Failure

Among all the leading roles, Eliza Sam is the only character that dies in the end. Eliza and Him Law has a very touching relationship. "Heung Heung's scene, I cry every time I watch it. Him cried so much, its heart breaking. Heung Heung plays an optimistic social worker. She was diagnosed with glioma (a brain tumor) at a young age and the relapse didn't happen until 10 years later. Gradually her organs start failing and she eventually dies. This is my second time working with Heung Heung, she improved a lot. The other artists Him, Mandy Wong and Benjamin Yuen, they also improved a lot. In the sequel, Mandy replaces Kenneth's strict character. She will be scolding new houseman Crystal Li a lot."

In the series, there are many realistic surgery scenes, the bloody scenes will be replaced by computer animation. "All bloody scenes were replaced by computer animation to reduce the disturbing level." While the series was filming, coincidentally it was the Queen Elizabeth Hospital's 50th anniversary, so there were many posters in the background, but the crew kept it there and didn't edited them out.

Yesterday Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung, Him Law, Mandy Wong, Benjamin Yuen and Tracy Chu attended the promotional event for TVB new series The Hippocratic Crush II that premieres on Monday. To promote for the series, Tavia came out on stage holding Kenneth's hand and called him her husband; The cast tested their physical health by doing sit-ups, push-ups, jump roping and the hula hoop; Rumored couple Tavia and Him appeared embarrassed.

Him and Kenneth cheated on their push-ups, they did one push up and called it three. Him joked: "I'm God-level, I don't have to move!" As a result, producer Poon Ka Tak punished him, making him do push- ups with one hand and Tavia was the judge, but Tavia defended her 'boyfriend': "I'm the judge? Dead meat! No need, next!" Kenneth gave Him a hand while he did his one-handed pushups.

When Tavia took pictures with her fans, Him didn't dare to join them. He said: "I'm afraid fans won't like it. (Embarrassed?) I'm a big guy, I'm afraid I'll cover her fans." Tavia and Him accepted an interview together, Tavia kept sweating and fanning herself, but Him didn't help wipe away her sweat. Asked why he didn't help her? Him said: "Tavia's very independent and smart. (Just now she was defending you, so you didn't have to do the push ups?) She just wanted to finish up that part of it, not related to attending to me." Tavia explained she's sweating because of her outfit: "If the AC was up higher, then I would have told Him to do more pushups" Because of work, Tavia and Him won't be able to watch the premiere together.

Kenneth Ma Happy to Compete for TV King with Seniors

Kenneth just rushed back to the promotion from Shanghai. He expressed he's still shooting the film Impetuous Love In Action, where he portrays a lawyer who actually doesn't get any girls. He said: "The girls are all for the male lead, I'm just accompanying him on pursuing the girls. I don't have any romantic storyline. (Unhappy?) I'm happy to see the money. (Hope to earn more in Mainland?) I think one film/series per year plus a few more endorsements would be enough for me since my home is in Hong Kong. " As for TV King this year, Kenneth is considered one of the hot favorites, but he said: "Dayo Wong has Bounty Ladyairing soon, but the most important is the audience enjoys watching and there's good feedback." It was rumored the TV King battle is between him and Chilam? Kenneth said: "There are so many others, such as Dayo and Chilam. I'm happy just having the opportunity to compete with the seniors. I also have confidence."

Artiste Kenneth Ma went to a radio station to promote his new series, "The Hippocratic Crush II". He expressed that he portrays a doctor in the series. Because he encounters an accident, he has to be in a wheelchair, but cannot reveal the details...let the viewers watch the series. When asked whether he had great expectations for the ratings, he said, "Would not be very great because there are too many factors that affect ratings. Now, people's work hours are long...would not necessarily watch TV...may watch it online, so cannot just rely on TV ratings". Regarding whether there was pressure working with Lawrence Ng, he laughingly said, "These seniors may have made enough in Mainland...would smile while watching the wind and clouds". However, he revealed that Lawrence has pressure...worried that the sequel's ratings would not be good, and then everyone would blame him.

When asked whether he had confidence in being TV king with this series, he humbly said that he would look at it with a normal heart, and also highly praised his competitors being very strong: "If I lost, there wouldn't be anyone who would say anything. If I won, would just consider it luck and a little bit of cheating!" Kenneth also revealed that he was filming a movie in Mainland earlier, denying the rumours that TVB is restricting artistes from going up north to film series.

Like every other tvb series, little attention is made to the details that puts me off the series. Like that scene when one of the doctors was trying to revive a patient with a defibrillator but the patient's bed was up to the doctors knees and she's awkwardly bending over. Big no no.
Secondly, why would you need 3 doctors to visit a patient? Is your hospital over staffed or something? No hospitals are ever overstaffed. richard simmons human resources, you are doing a terrible job.

I have not watched it yet, so cant comment on how good it is. All I know is that this sequel is pretty popular rite now in Hong Kong and because it is a high budgeted production as one of the TVB anniversary series

Producer: "Its Not a Comedy, I'm Not Here to be Funny"Monday November 11, 2013 Hong Kong

Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net

The Hippocratic Crush II (On Call 2) just finished its first week, but the premiere week's ratings just averaged 26 points and peaked at 30 points. Although On Call 2 was still the top rated HK series last week, but the momentum wasn't as strong as the handsome pilot series Triumph in the Skies II. In the On Call 2 trailer, it was seen the majority of the main leads and their families are sick or have some incurable disease. Doesn't that mean the 30 episodes series will get too tragic and the audience will have to constantly face their tears?

Netizens exclaimed: "Why did the first 5 episodes feel like we're watching the finale of a TVB series?" Episode 4 didn't even take the audiences' young hearts into account. When it was announced "Yue Jai" Tavia Yeung's tumor came back and she had to abort her baby, the heartbreaking news left the audience in tears! "Fish Head" (Yu-Tau) is a pair with excellent acting, continued the tearjerkers into Episode 5, Netizens praised: "This year's TV King and Queen candidates!" But some Netizens exclaimed the series is hard to bear: "Watching On Call 2 is like torturing myself, after each episode, my face is full of tears. Kenneth Ma can't get depression, then I'll be done for!"; "If the series gets any more tragic, I wouldn't be able to stand it. I want a happy ending!"; "This series will become the most tragic series of the year."

[ND Daily] reporters interviewed the producer, and lead actors Lawrence Ng and Kenneth Ma. Let's see what they have to say. Kenneth said: "I really like the On Call 2 script, its written very well. I really like it. In the beginning, Yue Jai had to get an abortion because of her tumor. Those scenes were filmed very profoundly. Later, Yat Kin Tau gets depressed with extreme anxiety, Yue Jai does a lot to help him get out of it. Those scenes also gave me a very profound feeling. In the sequel, Yat Kin Tau's mother gets older and becomes ill too, Yat Kin Tau had too much pressure and started getting depressed, but actually he's not considered mentally ill."

Lawrence Ng: "In the series, its like I have autism, I don't show my emotions. My view on life differs from Kenneth (Yat Kin Tau). When a patient has an incurable disease, I would advise them not to get the surgery done because the patient is already suffering, if they're going to take in a knife, then why not just face death? But Kenneth thinks differently, he believes even if the chances of surviving is low, it is still a life and he will do everything he can to help that patient. Eventually we get into a fight."

Producer Poon Ka Tak: "We wanted to say, what's the meaning behind the line 'we tried our best'? What did the doctors do? When doctors are the patient's family member, how do they feel? Actually this series has more concentration of human emotions and sensibility. I don't want to use Korean drama to describe this series, its more on two doctors intriguing against each other. Some people who don't understand might say, 'You watch this series, everybody is sick, they cry like no tomorrow!' But this is reality. In the hospital, there are a lot of life and deaths. You cried, then that means you were touched. If we couldn't move you, then why would you tear up? This series is not a comedy, I am not here to be funny."

(from Him Law's surgery scene in ep 9, credit: on_call36_2 @ instagram)

The second week broadcast of TVB anniversary series The Hippocratic Crush II remained with an average rating of 26 points and peaked at 27 points. TVB received 23 complaints on how Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung have so little scenes. One Netizen discovered in the scene where Lily Ho was in the hospital, the buttons and the whole background set behind her bed were all stickers. Another Netizen spotted in Him Law's surgery scene, the screen showed a pre-recorded video of the surgery, but the Windows Media Player bar was visible.

Tavia Yeung responded to the complaints on her little screen time. She did not agree: "I don't think so, the series is quite long and after all, the sequel cannot just keep talking about me and Kenneth. If that happened, I'm afraid we'll get even more complaints. The plot is starting to explain the relationships of the new characters. Don't be so impatient." There were also criticisms that the medical information in the series was misleading. Tavia expressed when they were filming, there were actual professional doctors on the set to guide them in hope to make it realistic. Its just difficult to demonstrate every step in the surgeries, so those parts were replaced by animation to explain the procedure. As for the stickers behind the hospital bed? Tavia said she didn't notice it.

On Facebook, there was a breakdown of all the mistakes spotted in the series including public hospitals actually does not allow patients to choose a doctor; Determining death is not just merely dependent on a trainee (houseman) trying to rescue the patient for 10 minutes; Kenneth Ma wears protective uniform in Episode 1, but didn't wear a mouth mask; Cartilages cannot be seen in X-rays; Use of antibiotics was abused. Kenneth responded: "Research was done, different doctors have different opinions. The series incorporates entertainment value, otherwise its no different then a documentary and the series can just end after 2 episodes!"

The entertainment circle is in fact an interesting place. Some people like Benjamin Yuen (Ben) had actually been in the industry for 15 years, but only gradually gained recognition after entering TVB for 5 years. When he was young, he didn't know how to cherish his opportunities, and even lost his behind-the-scenes job. He was later forced to change professions and it wasn't until then he realized he loves acting the most. Today, Ben will cherish everything he has and actively work on packaging himself. His is always "On Call" in search for an opportunity to make a breakthrough in the entertainment circle.

Ben actually entered the industry at age 17 when he filmed a milk commercial, but his slow to get familiar personality got him floating in the entertainment circle for many years. In 2007, Ben was the Mr. Hong Kong winner and entered TVB.

TVB is Like an University, A Place to Learn

"I've been with TVB for 5 years and my achievements has been pretty good. Actually its really a learning experience in TVB, here one year is like 10 years in the outside world. I face many different tests and challenges each day. I'm very pleased to be able to train my mentality."

Probably most people didn't know Ben actually had the opportunity to enter TVB in 1999, but unfortunately Bosco Wong was chosen at the audition instead and joined TVB. Ben now has to face Bosco who has now become one of the first line TVB Siu Sangs. Whether an artist becomes popular, it really does depend on their fate. Some artists endure through 10 years of hard work before making a breakthrough. This time, Ben comes back in The Hippocratic Crush II (On Call 2) as Ben Lau Bing Chan.

"Last time in On Call 1, I was considered a newcomer, but this time I'm a See Hing, a big brother watching newcomers coming in. Its rare to have such a positive series in Hong Kong and I watched Lawrence Ng's Healing Hands while growing up, so I learned a lot from Lawrence. Today I have more confidence to speak up and strive, just as long as its for the best and its the right thing, I don't mind to speak up. Just like in On Call 2, the 'Post-80s' doctors jokes all came from real life. Earlier when I collaborated with mentor Ram Chiang, we chat as if we're two students exchanging a book. TVB is like an university, you can learn a lot."

Used to be Childish, Didn't Know to Cherish

Before entering TVB, Ben had actually been in a lot of films, but after 2004's Heat Gun, he didn't get another role on the big screen, so he was forced to switch to behind-the-scenes. He worked at Kenny Bee's band, but later his jobs gradually declined and then he got an office job before he realized he enjoyed working in showbiz the most. Ben ultimately decided to participate in Mr. Hong Kong and start again from zero.

"When I was younger, I didn't try my best nor did I know how to cherish what I had. Actually when I worked at the office, I took the subway to work every morning, each day at the same time, I used the same card and saw the same people. Although everything I did was because I needed to make a living, I had no goals in life. Also, I lost all my self-confidence. I worked there for 3 months, and finally realized what I liked best was acting because this industry brought me a sense of satisfaction. Recently I collaborated with Wayne Lai, I remember many years ago we already had the chance to collaborate, at the time Wayne asked me, 'what do you want to get out of from this job?' At the time I gave him a childish answer: 'I want to get a Ferrari'. Today, if he asked me that question again, I would say to him: 'I want to be in this industry to continue my life'. Here, everyone wants to constantly improve, but the most important is to package yourself, wait for the opportunity and really hold onto it. I now have more experience in life, I learned to be more calm and more importantly I know not to take opportunities for granted. I've learned to cherish and have a mentality to move forward. I don't think I could have done that before."

In the grand productions The Hippocratic Crush II and Tiger Cubs II, Ben isn't the main lead, but the room to demonstrate his acting and screen time have increased. Compared to other Mr. Hong Kong from his same year, Ben is considered the more successful ones. The only consequence is sacrificing his personal time.

Seriously, after On call I , I already kinda get tired of Kenneth-tavia paring that everybody seems to praise non stop. On the other hand, On call II is actually quite interesting because of the addition of new faces. In fact, I am more invested in Tracy-Lawrence storyline.

Only just finished watching the first one and finally started to watch this. Only up to 5th ep, but I'll be up to date soon!

the end of the first ep already made me tear up

-_- I'm super curious to know what is going to end up with Tavia's illness... prepared for the worst

Lots of people told me the first one appears to be better than the sequel so far but it seems on par to me at the moment! Maybe I have to watch more eps first.

Him Law played Dr. Onion Yeung Pui Chung in The Hippocratic Crush (On Call) last year. Onion was a naive young doctor with no regrets and was protected everywhere. In the sequel, Onion takes a new lease in life, he becomes a doctor who can face life or death and can handle situations maturely. Him Him frankly expressed his character will of course have to grow up and the same should happen to him in real life. After several years of lessons learned, Him gradually adapted to the nature of his work, has a grasp in acting and can break away from the big boy image that will prepare him to be a future a lead actor.

Him Him expressed he's satisfied with how his role Onion developed. "If I had to be the old Onion, then the audience wouldn't see the breakthrough. Actually, I have a lot more implicit scenes in the sequel and it was great challenge to me." In the past, Him Him usually played the big boy roles filled with positive energy and sometimes a little silly. This time, he had scenes involving life or death, and more crying scenes. To Him, its a good practice: "Before crying scenes scared me because I couldn't get one tear drop out, but when I was filming On Call 2, I was crying for a full week. Its a kind of maturity, a type of training."

Earlier the finale was exposed, main characters each came down with some kind of illness, but Onion was lucky to escape from that trend. Him Him expressed this arrangement is actually in attempt to tell the audience that no matter how bad the situation might be, there is a bright side. "In the series, every character had some kind of burden. It was just me who was the happy one, and the message here is even if everyone is unhappy, you can still find some positive energy."

Aside from the character changes, there are also new characters added to the series. One of the most attractive was definitely experienced actor Lawrence Ng. Him Him felt honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with so many seniors. "There were already many seniors in TITS2. If it was a few years back, I would still be really scared, but now I'm feeling very pleased because I can work with so many seniors that rarely appear on TV series."

When interviewing Him Law, he cannot get away from questions relating to his girlfriend Tavia Yeung. Its rare to see the two appear in a series together. Although Him and Tavia aren't a couple in the series nor do they have many scenes, but they are still the center of attention. Him Him frankly expressed he does not mind at all because if this could the series more attention, then its a benefit. Tavia was crowned TV Queen last year and is one of the top TVB FaDans, but Tavia is rather strong career-minded and many people think this gives Him invisible pressure. Him Him expressed he sees it as a driving force in his work. "Ah Yi depended on her own hard work to get the achievement, and it also provides encouragement to me to work even harder. Also, there are less male artists. If I can maintain myself well, I may still be a Siu Sang when I'm 50! So, there is nothing to compare. Haha!"

When a couple is in a relationship, the majority set marriage as their goal. Him Him and Tavia have been together for quite some time and naturally there will be plans for marriage. Him Him expressed marriage is a happy event and hopes to share the good news with everyone. When he does get married in the future, he will announce it. "In the past, I told myself not to marry so early, but now I think as long as my career and finances are stabled and my partner agrees, then I can get married. I won't give myself a time limit, perhaps I'll get married when I'm 40, or maybe next year. I won't limit myself." A young man who begins to have plans for marriage and start a family, proves that he's really a big boy now!

Yesterday Tavia Yeung was on Nancy Sit's radio interview to promote for her series The Hippocratic Crush II. Nancy brought in a school girl fan to meet her idol Tavia and take pictures. The fan gave Tavia a DIY Christmas card, but the fan started tearing up emotionally, which frightened Tavia so much she said: "Don't cry! I'm getting teary too." Then Tavia gave the fan a hug to comfort her.

Tavia expressed On Call 2's finale is the night before the TVB Anniversary Awards, she hopes to ride on the momentum, so her good friend/partner Kenneth Ma gets the TV King title. As for TV Queen, Tavia supports Kristal Tin and Linda Chung. She won't give herself any pressure. What about boyfriend Him Law? Tavia said: "I'm not sure what he'll be nominated for, but he really developed 'Onion' really well. I hope he'll get to be in the competition too. I'll definitely support him. (Is Him the best boyfriend?) Don't use that type of wording. In my heart, he's a very attentive gentleman and really has a sense of responsibility. (Is he a marriageable partner?) I really haven't thought about it, I said he's okay, but will have to get to know him for a longer period first."

Nancy disclosed there are many producers in Singapore and Malaysia inviting Tavia to collaborate with them for a high pay. Tavia frankly expressed she feels very honored and if there is a chance, she hopes to collaborate with Nancy, even if its low pay, she won't mind. Also, Tavia revealed she may be starting a new series in December and will be spending Christmas at work.

Kenneth Ma Reveals Happy Ending with Tavia Yeung

Artiste Kenneth Ma went to a middle school to promote the new series "The Hippocratic Crush II". The cast members and the students had a soccer match, tying 3-3 in the end. Kenneth was very popular among the students, and some praised him for being handsome, but the shy Kenneth laughingly said, "They must be nearsighted". He laughingly said that he also took the opportunity to rally for votes, as he also has a part in competing for TV king this mid-month. He is looking at awards with a normal heart. Facing rival Julian Chung, Kenneth frankly said that he has not given up, and also laughingly said, "You're not telling me to take off my clothes and go to Nathan Road to rally for votes, or wear a sash while telling people to vote, are you?" Regarding TVB receiving viewers' complaints, saying that they were dissatisfied with his and Tavia Yeung's screen time being little, Kenneth said, "There will be more afterward. It is distributed quite evenly for every character. This installment has a lot more lines...has 30 episodes. However, in the end, Tavia and I have a happy ending. The company will arrange for everyone to watch the ending together".

Eliza Sam Competing for 'Supporting Actress': Also Happy to Be an Accompany Runner

Artiste Eliza Sam attended a promotional event for the new series "The Hippocratic Crush II". Because she just received the 'My Favourite TVB Promising Actress' award in Malaysia, did her confidence greatly increase for this mid-month's 'Best Supporting Actress' and 'Most Improved Female Artiste'? Eliza frankly said that she already feels very excited to be nominated...would try her best whether she wins an award or not: "Actually, did not have much confidence for 'My Favourite TVB Promising Actress'. Saw that the other nominees did not attend, so thought that it should not be so embarrassing such that I went but not receiving an award...ha ha!" She also pointed out that she thinks highly of Elena Kong, Mary Hon, and Helena for winning 'Supporting Actress', frankly saying that she is not yet qualified...only an accompany runner. She is also facing 'Most Improved' with a normal heart.

Source: U Magazine Issue#418, Credit: Kennethma.org
Translated by: aZnangel @ http://asianuniverse.net

The married couple 'Yat Kin Tau' and 'Yu Jai' in The Hippocratic Crush, Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung, are really good friends in real life. They basically led the whole conversation on their own.

Kenneth: My mom loves Tavia so much she pretended to visit her son on the set, but in reality she's just going to see Tavia!

Tavia: In the TV King race, my vote goes to Kenneth Ma no matter what.

Kenneth: I'm very happy to collaborate with Tavia, just simply looking at her I'm already happy... as a matter of fact, until the day you marry..."

Tavia: "You crazy."

(She didn't even want the 'seun poon' Kenneth, we all know why.)

From a Couple to a Married Couple

Tavia: I don't know why, but I think me and him are just personally very sweet.

Kenneth: I'm especially sweet when I'm paired with Tavia!

Tavia: Honestly, even if we don't play a couple or married couple, its fine too. Also, this time in On Call 2, our sweet scenes aren't those passionate types, its more about mutual support.

Kenneth: We were willing to put the effort in, if the audience watch the series carefully, they will realize how sweet we are.

Tavia: I have a lot to say.

Kenneth: That's what I like about you because you have so much to say! But my bed scenes with her were all just talking on the bed, so disappointed!

'Yat Kin Tau' Gets Too Much Anxiety

Kenneth: It turns out many people in HK have this issue. Its a city disease, such as if you walk out the door, you think about whether you turned off the lights or the stove, this is already considered anxiety. The question is how much anxiety do you have.

Tavia: I'm really afraid my alarm won't go off when I have filming. I'm afraid I might oversleep and then be late to the set...

Kenneth: Tavia has high expectations on herself. She gives herself invisible stress. I always tell her to relax. I don't have much anxiety, pretty relaxed.

Tavia: No, he has anxiety sometimes too. Just like sometimes I tell him this and that, he would say: "Is that going to work? I'm afraid it won't!" He's very stubborn. Actually I'm stubborn too, when we're together its going to be a big battle, but if really are together, then must have mutual tolerance. Even if we're colleagues, still need to be tolerant.

Kenneth: Its easy to see how a person is when filming. I've been in too many series with Tavia, so I really can see her character. We spend so many hours in a day filming, sometimes when you're exhausted, you really can't hide your temper, but I have never seen Tavia with a bad temper. She's a goddess!

Tavia: I have my stubborn side too. Men may just go speak their minds, but women would think, don't cause too much trouble.

Kenneth's Mother Pretends to Visit the Set

Kenneth: Tavia will definitely be a good wife. The definition of a good wife is not because she's a good cook or have a good figure... its more on whether you feel comfortable around the person. We have been in so many series together, we get along quite comfortably. If I'm fortunate to have her as my wife, then I'm absolutely the lucky one.

Tavia: Kenneth? Don't have to say it, my mom loves him.

Kenneth: My mom loves Tavia too. (Can meet the parents?) Already met before, one time we were in Shanghai filming Silver Spoon Sterling Shackles, my mom came to visit me on the set, but I knew she came just to see Tavia.

Tavia: What we have most in common is we are both family-oriented. He really loves his mom. When he's on the phone, he talks so softly and attentively: "Where are you? I'll pick you up later." Wah! Sounds like a girlfriend!

TV King & TV Queen

Kenneth: Its the same every year, will try my best. You think about it, there is Chilam, Ah Mo (Moses), Wayne and Inbound Troubles' Roger Kwok. Then there is Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu...you think about this year, just the nominations will scare you. There is also Francis Ng, Lawrence Ng and Dayo Wong, so many amazing seniors that haven't been back in TVB series for so long...wah! That's even better, no pressure on me. If I have success in getting it, then I"m just lucky. But On Call 2 is an anniversary series, the broadcast period is close to the award ceremony, the audience will remember it. Its a benefit.

Tavia: My vote already went to you! No matter what, I'm voting for him. Give me five!

Kenneth: I voted for Tavia too. I hope she can get the award for depending on her 'Yu Jai' role because I have a deep profound relationship on Yu Jai. (Happier if you two get the award together?) I would go crazy, I really would! If I could get it with Yue Jai then we really must go for a passionate kiss!

Tavia: I would cry! Wet French kiss!

If they collaborate again, what type of role do they want to portray? Kenneth said: "A couple with more kiss scenes. (No fear of Mr. Law?) Never been scared, don't say I didn't say.... until the day she's married..." Tavia said: "His mind is just full of those thoughts."
