*** I heard that Fan Bingbing came to Korea earlier this year and appeared as a cameo in the drama 'Insider'." The authority to cast actors rest with the production company or the chief producer, but there must be a reason why she appeared in this drama.  However, regarding the background and role of the special appearance in the drama, no specific details yet.  :Fist1:

*** According to figures released by FlixPatrol yesterday March 4th, "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" is now the fourth most popular film on the platform worldwide. The movie premiered on Netflix this March 2nd. However, its first appearance on the Netflix charts was on March 3rd, where it was third place. Despite this, "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" had actually increased in popularity. This is due to how FlixPatrol distributes the points used to determine rankings. The FlixPatrol charts are based on every Netflix region's top ten movies for the day. Countries with more higher rankings in more countries get more points. The movie actually had more points on March 4th compared to March 3rd (390 compared to 343), but still dropped a rank because a new film, The Weekend Away, had jumped to the top of the charts. "The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure" is now the number one Netflix film in seven regions. These are Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. The movie was released in South Korean theaters on January 26th and earned over 1.3 million admissions at the box office.   :Fist1:

One of the many reasons K-Dramas have achieved the overwhelming success they now enjoy is their portrayal of human feelings and emotions on a scale so grand that it allows viewers to identify themselves with the characters and even live vicariously through them.

K-Dramas create a fantasy that you do not want to get out of, and in most cases, it's the romances that keep us hooked. Here are my picks for the top 10 K-Dramas to make your heart flutter!

"When the Camellia Blooms"

"When the Camellia Blooms", starring Gong Hyo-jin and Kang Ha-neul is most definitely one of the finest romance dramas of the last decade as well as the standard for romantic comedies to come. Oh Dong-baek (played by Gong Hyo-jin) is the emblem of inner strength and beauty whereas Hwang Yong-sik (played by Kang Ha-neul) is the poster child of non-toxic masculinity and feminism. This is the K-Drama we all need and deserve.

6 Noona Romance K-Dramas That Will Make Your Heart Flutter

Noona romances are not for everyone, but there are certain K-dramas that have done great jobs of playing on the trope and drawing viewers in. Something about seeing a younger male lead fall in love with an older woman without considering her age but instead looking to her heart can really make your heart flutter. Although we have visited this topic before, here are six other noona romances that are guaranteed to give you butterflies!

Make sure you check out part one of this article here.

6. “When the Camellia Blooms”

“When the Camellia Blooms” stars Kang Ha Neul and Gong Hyo Jin as two lovers with a lot of baggage as a result of broken families. Hwang Yong Sik (Kang Ha Neul) finds solace and joy out of his everyday life and basically swears his life to Dong Baek (Gong Hyo Jin). But in the midst of this heartfelt love story, there’s a serial killer on the loose whom Yong Sik is trying to hunt down.

“When the Camellia Blooms” won the Daesang at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards and deservedly so. Kang Ha Neul does an amazing job portraying a lovestruck police officer. His charm lies in how much he is willing to make things work for the single mother who had her heart shattered from a previous relationship. It is a fairy tale romance with a countryside prince who manages to win over the noona’s heart of stone. Their chemistry is beyond perfection!

*** It's reported that Ha Ji Won has been offered the female lead in the upcoming big-budget drama "Tree Dies On Their Feet". I hope the script is good. The drama was first offered to Son Ye Jin but, she has passed on it because she wants to focus in the meantime on her married life, which makes sense. Works can come later. Looking forward to this drama and seeing her on screen again. I like HJW & KHN, so I like the casting. Both are super versatile. I'm curious about the story, though.  :sweet:

Finally..........we hear about this drama ahead of its premiere in June. On the poster is the phrase, “Don’t be read, don’t be caught.”  We can get to see KHN back on our screen. He is known for his ability to make each of his characters memorable. I look forward to this drama.   :Fist1:
