The rom-com drama with a pinch of suspense stars the award-winning actress Gong Hyo Jin, as the single mom Oh Dong Baek and the local policeman Hwang Yong Shik, portrayed by Kang Ha Neul, who won his first-ever Baeksang Arts Awards Best Actor for his character. 

 

Unlike the typical romance drama, this KBS series is more than just a love story since it tackles the mother's undying love for her children. 

 

After her failed relationship, she decides to pack up and move together with her son in the small town of Ongsan. 

 

There she gets criticized by the neighbors for being a single mom and running a bar but later on gained the trust of her neighbors after her almost near-death experience. 

 

In Yongsan, she also met the bubbly and very cheerful Hwang Yong Shik. Despite being rejected by Dong Baek, he never gave up and showed his genuine and honest intention.

The 32-year-old drop-dead gorgeous actor Kang Ha Neul who rose to fame with internationally loved dramas "To The Beautiful You" and "The Heirs" is booked and busy.

 

After "Midnight Runners", he starred in the psychological thriller film "Forgotten" with Kim Mu Yeol. He also returned to the small screen in the year 2019 with "When the Camellia Blooms".

 

In 2021, he made a cameo in the historical drama "River Where The Moon Rises". He also coupled up with actress Chun Woo Hee in the romance film "Waiting for Rain".

 

 

Kang Ha Neul is currently in the middle of filming his drama and new films. In 2022, he will return to the small screen with JTBC's new drama "Insider".

 

He will also appear in the films "The Pirates 2" and "Streaming". There are no exact premiere dates as they are still yet to be announced.

The sequel to the movie 'Pirate: The Bandit Who Goes to the Sea' (2014), 'Pirates: The Goblin Flag', released its launch poster and announced preparations for full-scale departure.

'Pirates: Goblin Flag' (Director Kim Jeong-hoon) is an action adventure depicting the activities of pirates, thieves, and rebels on the same boat to become the owners of the royal treasures that have disappeared without a trace.

The launch poster, released on the 6th, catches the eye at once with the overwhelming visual of the goblin flag. In particular, the appearance of the goblin flag waving taut as if splitting the wind announces the full-fledged departure of the new 'pirate' and amplifies the curiosity about the story to be unfolded in the future.

@Sky Kang this drama is one of the greatest romance comedy of all time.  The cast of the series greatly impacted the lives of its viewers, even after two years of its run. KHN has been booked and busy since the drama's conclusion. His upcoming films "The Pirates 2" and "Streaming" have no exact premiere dates as they are still yet to be announced.

***KHN may have a new drama! Today, September 29, it's reported that he received casting offer for the new drama “Trees Die on Their Feet” (literal title). He will be with Son Ye Jin here in case. “Trees Die on Their Feet” is about an elderly woman from North Korea who doesn’t have much time left to live and a theatre actor who acts as her grandson in order to fulfill her final wish. Kang Ha Neul is considering the role of Jae Heon, an unknown theatre actor who acts as Geum Soon’s grandson Moon Sung in order to fulfill her wish. Son Ye Jin has been offered the role of Se Yeon, Geum Soon’s granddaughter who is in charge of Hotel Nakwon. The drama aims to begin filming next year (2022) and premiere in the second half of the year. I love the casting.  Victory Contents is in charge of the production.
