Jung Yu Mi Got Scouted While Chasing After H.O.T.

Former S.E.S member Eugene wasn’t the only one who became a celebrity because of H.O.T.

In a recent recording of SBS’ Incarnation, actress Jung Yu Mi appeared as a guest to reveal how she became a celebrity.

 

 

As a high schooler in the late 90s, Jung Yu Mi shared that she loved H.O.T and even traveled from Busan to Seoul just to see a glimpse of the first generation idol group.

“I was waiting for H.O.T in front of the SM Entertainment building, when I got casted,” said Jung Yu Mi. “I was waiting out in front of the office for H.O.T when I wondered if anyone was inside. I peered in through the blinds when someone stared back at me. Then the person opened the door and told me to come inside.”

Jung Yu Mi became a trainee for SM Entertainment, eventually making her debut into the entertainment world.

Well done @misssavvy i also become a fan of both jung joon young and jung yu mi after i watch them in wgm. I knew yumi from rooftop prince, though. I recognized her face when the news of the new couples is out. She's a great actrees and tbh, her role in rooftop prince made me want to punch her in the face. lol.

I'm surprised that she actually a fun, charming, and outgoing person. I hope more and more people likes her and recognize her acting talent

Ahh finally i found her forum! although it seems dead in here

Anyway i always saw her in her drama, and tot she was pretty, but never know her. Not until WGM, she made me her fan. She is such a nice person, i hope she can work on next project, cause it seems she only work like twice (drama+film) a year.

I wish she can met with a nice guy (who like sports like she is and a gentlemen) and led a happy married (when she's 34, just like she wishes for ).
