Kim Go-eun soaks in sun in Hawaii

Actress Kim Go-eun, who recently played a lead role in tvN‘s drama series “Cheese in the Trap,” modeled for a pictorial in the April issue of fashion magazine Cosmopolitan.

The photo shoot took place in Hawaii, and she showed off her naive and pure charms in the released images.

She has a big grin on her face, wearing a uniquely patterned black dress. She shows off white espadrille flats in her hands as the best choice for the upcoming warm season or vacation spots.

The 24-year-old actress seems to be feeling the breeze of the beach with her eyes closed, while dressed in a white deep V-neck and a skirt that helps her look natural and comfortable as well.

She also looks quite relaxed when sitting on a lounge chair, and a black dress adds feminine touches to the mood.

Kim left a mark with her striking acting debut in 2012 film “Eungyo,” and won further acclaim with last year’s Cannes Film Festival hit “Coin Locker Girl.” She later portrayed main character Hong Seol alongside Park Hae-jin on TV drama “Cheese in the Trap.”

Which 'Cheese in the Trap' co-star would Lee Sung Kyung nominate for 'Mask King'?

Model-turned-actress Lee Sung Kyung appeared on 'Radio Star' on March 23, where she was asked which co-star from 'Cheese in the Trap' she would nominate to appear on singing competitive program, 'Mask King.'

Without hesitation, she chose Kim Go Eun, explaining, "When we went out for a company dinner, Kim Go Eun perfectly sang 'Let It Go.'  When Kim Go Eun goes to the karaoke, she has her own unique repertoire.  She sings Celine Dion songs.  That is why I want to nominate Kim Go Eun for 'Mask King.'  I would like for Kim Go Eun to display her talents."

She added, "I really like Kim Go Eun's monolids.  She looks like a puppy when she smiles."

Kim Go-eun not offered role in ‘Cheese in the Trap’ movie

Actress Kim Go-eun was never offered a role in the movie version of “Cheese in the Trap,” according to her agency Jangin Entertainment.

In an interview with local media outlets, her agency confirmed that Kim had no plans to star in the movie “Cheese in the Trap,” as she was not offered a role.

“Kim was part of the TV drama cast as the lead female character, Hong Sul. However, we have never received any news or proposals over its movie version,” they said.

The webtoon-based drama “Cheese in the Trap” was a huge hit in both Korea and China when it aired earlier this year, but it faced controversies due to problems between the cast and production team, as well as the webtoon’s writer.

The movie version of “Cheese in the Trap” has already begun casting, with actor Park Hae-jin promising to join under the condition the original author participates in the production.

The film is to be led by star movie producer Lee Dong-ho, the director of “Inside Men” (2015) and “Architecture 101” (2012).
