Yesterday Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu went back to their primary school to promote for TVB new series Brother's Keeper along with the other cast including Linda Chung, Leanne Li, Louis Cheung and Kristal Tin. It turns out Ruco and Edwin used to be classmates in primary school, they sure do have fate!

Recently, TVB's current broadcasting series aren't doing so well in the TV ratings, it appears grand production Brother's Keeper will have to come to the rescue. When the cast accepted interviews, they expressed they have confidence. Ruco said: "The series is very dramatic, I believe there will be resonance in the audience!" Its been over 10 years since Edwin had been back in his primary school, he explained he didn't know how to get there and was late to the promotion: "I don't know my roads. If I didn't have a GPS, I wouldn't know how to go anywhere! (What about rumored girlfriend Gigi Ho's house?) Where? She moves so often!" Asked if he hopes to get an award based on this series? He said: "Hope to take the 'Best Series' award!"

Linda disclosed she plays a SARS patient in the series, "This is my ugliest look in all of my career, the makeup looks terrifying! When I don't speak, I look like a zombie!" Having a series broadcast near the TVB Anniversary period is an advantage to get the year-end awards, but Linda feels normal about it: "I don't put so much weight on the awards, I just hope the audience enjoys watching the series!"

Louis Cheung said when he was a young student back in 1993, Lan Kwai Fong was crowded with people on New Year's Eve, but he had never been to Lan Kwai Fong before, he urged the students not to go either. The MC Becky Lee teased him: "Boys and girls, you must learn not to tell lies!"

Yesterday Linda Chung, Kristal Tin, Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu attended TVB new series Brother's Keeper promotional event. During the games, Kristal pretended to kiss Linda; Ruco and Edwin embraced pretending to be gay. When speaking of Ada Choi's "kidnap-like" incident in Xi'an, Linda thought it was very terrifying: "I will have the highest level of alertness when I'm working in Mainland. I usually have my manager with me, but I've once encountered a small mishap too, someone tried to get 'protection fee' from the crew." It was said she could get rumored boyfriend Philip Ng to teach her a few defensive moves, Linda said: "Its useless to know martial arts when you don't have the physical strength."

Due to No. 8 Typhoon Usagi hitting Hong Kong, Linda's original schedule of shooting Tiger Cubs II promotional clip and a commercial were cancelled. She took all her safety measures and hopes the typhoon will keep viewers at home to watch Brother's Keeper premiere and bring high ratings.

Edwin was very pleased Brother's Keeper brought him more jobs. He laughed and said he still needs several years to save up enough "wife savings". He is currently busy shooting Wong Jing's series World of Turbulence in Mainland. Wong Jing paired him and Yiu Yiu together, Edwin hoped they can be as comedic as Stephen Chow and Sandra Ng, but unfortunately they don't have any kiss scenes. Edwin's most memorable scene was when he danced with sexy girls. "It was awkward, they were swinging around, their hair were flinging here and there. It felt like a ghost went into my body, luckily I was able to withstand it." As for TVB's HK$900,000 anti-competition fine, Edwin said: "Joey Yung said it well, if we weren't asked to speak Mandarin, our Mandarin wouldn't have improved so fast."

Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu's new TVB series, "Brother's Keeper", may have only premiered recently, but the series has already been criticised for supposedly copying the plot of "The Change Of Time" series.

According to Apple Daily website, as "Brother's Keeper" is a story about how two brothers ended up with different fates when they were separated in the 1980s, with some of the scenes set in that era.

However, netizens stated that several props that were not in the '80s can be seen in the first few scenes, including air-conditioned buses, Hong Kong's new pedestrian islands and CCTV cameras.

Apart from criticisms regarding the many inaccuracies, a netizen recently stated that the series has a lot of similarities to the 1992 series that starred Frankie Lam and Francis Ng.

Not only that both series are directed by Amy Wong, the characters are also similar, such as Louise Lee playing a mother who fails to illegally enter Hong Kong with her son and her husband marrying someone else in Hong Kong.

Additionally, both series span two generations, with the two brothers looking for their birth fathers in Hong Kong to be reunited as a family, both getting entangled in rivalry and hatred with each other, and that main villain is one of the brothers who was initially good but had to turn to crime to achieve their goals.

In "Brother's Keeper", Ruco and Edwin falls in love with Linda Chung's character while in "The Change Of Time", both Francis and Frankie pursued Gigi Lai's character.

Yesterday Ruco Chan was on a radio program to promote for his new series with Linda Chung Brother's Keeper. When speaking of Linda's accident while shooting the series, Ruco said: "Linda's very strong, she jumped from a 7 story building and wasn't scared. Just as long as she didn't get disfigured, then should be fine." A few days ago, Aimee Chan returned to HK, but got into an accident involving four cars the next day. Ruco was shocked to hear the news: "Is she ok? She must be careful. One must have a few tricks up their sleeves when driving in Hong Kong. Just so long her baby is fine."

Ruco expressed he has not paid attention to the TV ratings of his new series, but hopes the audience can forgive the mistakes found in the series. In regards to plagiarizing, Ruco defended producer Amy Wong by explaining: "It is nothing unusual about some parts being similiar. Korean dramas have the very similar stories too, it is just a matter of how the series is packaged."

Ruco Chan and Ankie Beilke had rumors after collaborating in TVB series Brother's Keeper and are often flirting on Weibo. Ruco praised Ankie for her wisdom and beauty. He uploaded a photo and said: "Why didn't I fall in love with her!" But, yesterday Ruco expressed in a telephone interview that he and Ankie are just friends. Ankie praised Ruco back that he's handsome, a gentleman and has a good heart. Asked if they are dating? She smiled sweetly: "We are both busy people, let's see how it goes. We are very good friends and keep in touch. (Ruco's English isn't great, will it improve because of you?) He's always writing in English. His English isn't bad. My Chinese isn't good, we have a good exchange. (Any chance to develop further?) Haha!" She disclosed she's busy shooting the film Wishing Tree, a film produced by her mother Ankie Lau. Asked if she'll save a role for Ruco? She said: "Of course I hope so too, but he may not have time on his schedule." A few days ago, she and Michelle Yim were at Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree for outdoor shooting of the film and took advantage of the moment to make a wish herself. She expressed she's very happly to work with Michelle. "Her acting is so natural, she has no NGs." Her mother Ankie Lau is grateful to have her good friend's support: "Many good friends like Michelle Yim and Eric Tsang immediately agreed to help me when I asked. They even told me to let them know when I get all the scheduling done."

Recently Ruco Chan has been rumored with his Brother's Keeper partner Ankie Belkie, but both of them have denied. Ruco said she is just a friend and there is no opportunity to develop further. Ruco is still single and his career isn't rapidly moving either. He just grabbed the "My Favorite TVB Male Character" award at the Singapore StarHub award, but is not looking forward to the TVB Anniversary Awards, he rather save up enough experience and be like Wayne Lai, climb up to the TV King seat.

As a "suen poon", Ruco was photographed in the same car with Ankie Belkie as they went together to see Louis Cheung's concert. Their rumors started from there and plus they're often flirting on Weibo. Ruco firmly denied: "We are not dating, just good friends."

This year Ruco has reached a good place in his career, not only does he has Brother's Keeper, but also Reality Check and Slow Boat Home, along with three other series that hasn't aired yet. Will this help him seize an award at the TVB Anniversary Awards this year? Ruco was not hurried at all, he made it clear he didn't want the "Most Improved Actor" award. "I really don't want this award because I've been in the industry for 20 years, this is an award to encourage newcomers, I don't want be hindering others from getting this award!"

Ruco's goal is placed on the "Best Actor" award, he modestly explained: "I really think I am still far from getting an award. I rather spend a few more years accumulating experience, portray more different roles and really have the skills, just like Wayne Lai, before I get an award. When everyone praises and agrees, then the award is meaningful. Also this year, there is Chilam Cheung and Francis Ng, how am I qualify to compete with them!"

Yesterday Ankie Belkie attended the "Boutique Boulevard Naturally LANDMARK" event. Recently Ankie had been rumored with Ruco Chan and Carl Ng. Ankie had very difference responses to the two rumors, she did not directly answer the question on whether she's currently dating Ruco Chan, but she did praise he's "too good of a guy and has a very good heart". Asked if their dating? Are they developing a relationship? Ankie laughed loudly: "We are both very busy. He's a very kind hearted person. (You won't resist developing further with him?) I have to see how he's like, get to know him more first. (Do you keep in touch with him every day?) We do keep in touch, as friends. (It was rumored he's secretly married?) Do you believe it? I didn't ask him."

When responding the rumor with Carl, Ankie immediately denied: "He is not my target. He is a good friend of mines whom I known for a very long time. That night we just went for dinner together after work." When reporters asked her to choose between Ruco or Carl, Ankie thought for a moment and chose Ruco. She praised him again: "He's very nice. He's very good. Carl is nice too, but we're just friends. (Then what are you and Ruco missing?) Timing. (How would you score him?) You tell him to score me, I may get a zero, but I will give him a high score. (Have you two talked about your rumor?) We keep in touch via WhatsApp, his English has improved. (He's learning English for you, are you touched?) He's very nice, and I personally have to learn another language. The world is so big. He teaches me Cantonese."

Yesterday Ruco Chan and Linda Chung were going to Macau for Brother's Keeper promotional event along with the other cast Louis Yuen, Kristal Tin and Ankie Beilke. Ruco was driving his brand new red HK$1.3 million F-TYPE S sports car in which he purchased 2 months ago. He also conveniently gave Linda a lift to the harbor to catch the ferry over to Macau. Unfortunately, Ruco got into an accident with a taxi near the Sheung Wan subway stop. Because Ruco worried both the male and female leads would be absent from the series promotion, he urged Linda to just catch the ferry first and he'll handle the rest. In the end, Ruco arrived at the promotion on time because he got a sponsor to take him to Macau on a helicopter.

During the interview, Ruco expressed luckily nobody was hurt: "I came to a consensus with the taxi driver. We'll settle the case outside of court. I will contact him later to discuss the compensation." He apologized for causing a delay in the promotion and the traffic for 10+ minutes. Asked about him spending over a million on a new sports car? He said: "If I said I didn't have to spend any money and get a car to drive, you wouldn't believe me! (It's your car?) Yes. (How much damage?) Its a minor accident, the taxi had more damage. A minor accident to prevent disaster." He expressed when he learned his co-star Louis Yuen also got into an accident, "Compared to him, my accident is minor. The most important is we're all safe on the road."

Recently there has been too many accidents happening with the TVB artists. Following Steven Ma's injuries on his eye and nose during Property Protector filming, Tavia Yeung injures her neck and during filming of an explosion scene for Tiger Cubs II, Joe Ma tripped while carrying Linda Chung, he broke his ligaments and Linda miserably gets tossed on the ground with injuries on both arms. This time, the Brother's Keeper cast gets into accidents. First Louis Yuen got into a car accident and then Ruco Chan gets into another one while driving to the promotion in Macau with Linda in the passenger seat. Linda still hadn't recovered from her Tiger Cubs II injuries and gets involved in another accident while in Ruco's car. Fortunately nobody was hurt.
Yesterday Ruco Chan, Louis Yuen, Linda Chung, Kristal Tin and Ankie Beilke attended the Brother's Keeper promotional event. In regards to Ruco's accident, Linda expressed she felt grateful that she wasn't hurt. She admitted she felt she's having some bad luck, and will pray for everyone to have God's protection. She said: "Ruco lives near me, so he gave me a ride too. When we were near the harbor, I bent down to get my shoes and didn't know what happened. I later learned we hit a taxi. At the time, the accident was too sudden, I didn't know what to do. Ruco told me to get out of the car and just get to the promotion." As for being a hot favorite for TV Queen this year, Linda expressed she currently carries a "let go" attitude, good luck will come naturally.
When Ruco arrived at the promotion, he was greeted by a large group of fans with flowers, but it was clear he wasn't in a good mood. Even his rumored girlfriend Ankie Beilke deliberately kept her distance during their picture together. Ruco expressed its been over 10 years since he's been in a car accident. He expressed its a minor accident and because he has insurance, it won't be a problem. He knew Louis Yuen's accident was more serious, so he felt especially blessed. Asked if he's worried he may have frightened Linda BB? He laughed: "She's fine. She had to be suspended 7 stories high when we were filming and she wasn't scared. She just asked me how the accident happened when we were moving so slow." Asked why he avoided Ankie for pictures? He explained because he hasn't emotionally recovered yet.
Ankie frankly expressed she felt a little awkward taking pictures with Ruco after the rumor, but when she learned about Ruco's accident, she showed her concern. Asked if she'll help Ruco wish for good luck? She said: "I will help everyone wish for good luck. As long as everyone is happy." Asked if she felt unhappy Ruco gave Linda a lift to the harbor and not her? Ankie said with a little bitterness in her tone: "I'm not upset, not upset at him. (You knew he got a new car?) I knew. I saw the pictures, it's quite pretty, but never sat in it before. How could I be as happy as Linda?"

A few days ago Ruco Chan gave Linda Chung a ride to the Brother's Keeper promotional event in Macau, and encountered an accident along the way. Because of this, rumors sparked between the two. Yesterday a magazine reported Linda and Ruco had been secretly dating for a month. Ruco attentively buys Linda breakfast daily. In response to the rumor, Linda denied: "The magazine report is completely fake. Ruco and I live nearby, that's why he gave me a ride. We are colleagues."

Linda joked and said she will have to keep her distance from Ruco to avoid rumors. Asked if rumored boyfriend Philip Ng asked her about this rumor? She said: "It has nothing to do with him, it is all fake, so I will not comment."

Is romance in the air for Ruco Chan and Linda Chung?

Last Sunday, Ruco was seen picking up Linda from her house before the two headed to the pier together. The Brother's Keeper co-stars had a minor collision with a taxi along the way, and Linda reportedly left the scene in a hurry while Ruco later joined her in Macau for the event by rushing over in a helicopter.

Rumours about the pair dating were fuelled following the accident, as sources claimed that Ruco has been actively pursuing Linda since they started working together last year. The actor was said to have showered compliments on Linda for her good manners and cute appearance. On top of that, he was also seen taking extra care of his co-star during filming while Linda openly sang praises of Ruco's professional working attitude.

In addition, an insider revealed that the two get along very well as they share many common interests. It is believed that Ruco finally succeeded in winning Linda's heart one month ago, when the actress' relationship with her boyfriend Philip Ng was on the rocks.

At an event on Tuesday, Linda denied all dating rumours saying that she is 'just colleagues' with Ruco and that she was purely hitching a ride from the actor that day.

Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu came from similar backgrounds. Not only were they classmates in primary school, but also both brushed through the music industry and once had full confidence on their future. Unfortunately, dreams and reality are absolutely two different matters. During the financial crisis, Ruco lost his opportunity to release an album, while Edwin didn't know how to communication with others and got himself entangled with too many negative news. The two admitted they felt disappointed that they didn't have a goal in their careers.

Ruco: I was in the TVB Artistes Training Class at the age of 18. At the time, I had so many imaginations. I imagined becoming a singer and a film actor. One time at karaoke, I met So Tak Wah and after auditioning, PolyGram signed me to be a singer. But because of the 1997 financial crisis, I didn't get to release my album and PolyGram was acquired by another company. My singing career was very short, but it was pretty good. At the time, I was just disappointed, but wasn't scared at all because I thought if I can't be a singer, I could do something else. I didn't know the financial crisis had such a big impact on the economy. It was quiet for two or three years before I started feeling scared! The toughest time was before I entered ATV, I was just 21 or 22 years old and I had no money. I had to rely on playing ping-pong ball to survive. That time I didn't think feel it was that difficult, but I didn't have any direction and didn't know how difficult my future could get! I was jobless for two or three years, and began losing hope on the entertainment circle. I've thought of leaving and changing professions. When you have no money or food, dreams and reality are just two different things. Luckily my family and friends supported me along the way that I was able to continue developing in this industry. Later, I joined ATV and ended up there for 6 years.

Edwin: I entered the industry in 2002 as a singer. At the time there were a lot of changes. Shortly after I joined the industry, my career went up and down. Just too much happened. I had a lot of negative news. Now thinking back, I think I was just too new and didn't know how to communicate with people. Later I went to develop in China, it was considered my most difficult time then! My father left and moved all his properties to Beijing. At the time, I haven't been to Beijing before, so I felt a little homesick. That time China wasn't in good shape as they are now and my income wasn't as good as before. I did a lot of other things unrelated to singing and that time my Mandarin wasn't good either. People laughed at me when I was on stage. I didn't earn much money and had to really watch what I'm spending. I saw no light ahead of me. What I was most unhappy about was I had no goal, my jobs were all scattered and I just felt the foundation I had in Hong Kong was slowly going away. I was just wasting time.

Muddling around for several years, Ruco and Edwin coincidentally ended up at TVB and gave themselves a final chance. If there was no success, they would change profession.

Edwin: After several years in China, my singing contract ended and I was hesitant for a long time. I thought about changing professions and become a small business owner in Beijing. Luckily my mother came back to Hong Kong to accompany me. My turning point was in 2008, I met Ho Lai Chuen before when I was a singer, he helped me connect with TVB and I later met Miss Lok (Virgina Lok). Then I decided to join TVB and start over. I like singing and never thought of filming TV series. Since I've been in the industry, I only filmed Aqua Heroes and never did another one. Coming back to TVB, I threw away my burdens and started fresh. At first, I didn't have many opportunities, not many people knew me in the first couple of years. Its very practical being in TVB, just as long as your willing to work, then someone will know. From Beyond the Realm of Conscience to Forensic Heroes IIIA Great Way to Care II and now Brother's Keeper, I'm progressing step by step.

Ruco: I also decided to leave ATV and go back to TVB in 2008. At the time, there were somethings we couldn't compromise on. For example, I'm an artist but why do I suddenly have to change and be an officer worker? I have my own limit. Of course I cannot ask the company to accommodate me, so I decided to not to play the game. Actually when I left PolyGram, TVB approached me, but at the time I didn't think I learned anything yet so I didn't want to go back. 2008 was a huge turning point for me. That time I was thinking I'm going to give myself one last chance and if it doesn't work out, then I'm changing professions.

Edwin: I thought the same. I told myself this is the last straw. Did you give yourself time?

Ruco: I first thought of giving myself 2 years and see how far I can get. If I can't do it, then forget it. When I came back to TVB, I had a lot of pressure. Although I had always been an artist, but no matter how active you are, people will treat you like your invisible and then you really lose confidence. Some promotional events, I totally wanted to avoid and not go.

Edwin: I have the same feeling. When I was a singer, I thought some reporters didn't really like me and why don't I just stand to the side. I went to the press conference, but it felt like I didn't go at all. I was a little resistant, like everything I did was useless.

Both started out as supporting actors, but after hard work coupled with good luck, they finally got leading roles. At last, Ruco and Edwin have some results to show to themselves and to their supporters.

Ruco: I started from fresh when I came back to TVB. My first series King of Snooker, I just had three scenes, then to Burning Flames 3The Other Truth and now Brother's Keeper. I'm taking one step at a time. Luckily my TVB comeback had been going smoothly. I think of it as a bonus.

Edwin: I personally want to let everyone know what kind of person I am. There were too many misunderstandings in the past, no matter how much I try to explain I just can't do it. This time coming back to TVB, I had to start over. Some people said I didn't look friendly, so they didn't want to talk to me. In the past 6 years at TVB, I learned many lessons and many are very practical. I will just do as much as I can, and can finally feel that I am a human being.

Also, Ruco and Edwin were on a radio interview to promote for Brother's Keeper. They expressed this is their first real collaboration. When speaking of playing a couple with rumored girlfriend Linda Chung, Ruco expressed: "I now understand why some seniors said its sometimes difficult to get out of character. Linda is truly a very good and pretty girl. It was a little challenging for me to get out of character." Regarding Ankie Beilke's first series, Ruco said: "We had a kiss scene, she really does 'electrify'! (Did her mother Ankie Lau supervise the set?) Her mother is even funnier, some kiss scenes she would come out and demonstrate herself!"

Yesterday Edwin Siu, Ruco Chan, Kristal Tin and Louis Cheung attended TVB series Brother's Keeper promotional event. The episode that aired two nights ago, Kristal's character riguously slapped Sarah Song's character multiple times until she fell on the floor because she deceived Kristal's husband Edwin Siu's money. Netizens said Kristal was even more vicious than the "14 Slaps HK Girl". Netizens felt bad for Kristal because Edwin betrayed her love. They madly scolded Edwin on Weibo and vowed to burn him to death.

Yesterday afternoon Kristal started a poll for "Brother's Keeper My Most Liked" to help promote the series. The top three favorites were Ruco Chan, Kristal and Edwin. When Kristal learned of Netizens' reaction on her vicious slapping scene, she said: "When I watched it again, I thought it was really cruel too. There was a martial arts director on the set while we filmed that scene. In fighting/beating scenes, usually the person who is doing the beating is more pressured. Sarah Song was great, she told me to actually slap her. I said to her, I'm slapping her so many times, I'm afraid her face might end up becoming bigger than mines. So, I just tried to hit her long hair more and the outcome came out quite realistic. She reminded me that she's able to move her hand to fight back, so I used my legs to hold her hands down. (Did your husband Chapman To watch the scene yet?) He's in Japan, but when he saw the terrifying screen shots, that scum said, 'You all can see how I live'. I told him not to come back otherwise I would hold his hands down with my legs!" Kristal joked Chapman is in Japan having a great time shooting the film Naked Ambition 2: "He was quite excited at first, but I'm afraid he'll get into trouble. When he gets back, I will check on him." Yesterday Chapman expressed on Facebook that his wife put in a lot of effort into Brother's Keeper, but he's supporting tonight's "No TV Day" and believes Kristal will understand.

Edwin expressed after the episode aired, his Weibo got bombarded with comments. Netizens scolded him for betraying Kristal and even wanted to burn him to death. He said Netizens are way too absorbed into the series. Many misunderstood he liked Linda Chung, but actually he had given up long ago. Later on, he and Kristal will have a relationship like family. Is Edwin afraid he might ended up like Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao, get feces thrown at him? He said: "That is disgusting, I rather get burned! But, that's crazy! I hope there won't be such thing that happens again. (Do you have to be extra careful when you go out?) Hong Kong is a city governed by law, there won't be that many feces!"

Last night Linda Chung, Ruco Chan, Edwin Siu, Ankie Belkie, Louis Yuen and Kristal Tin attended TVB series Brother's Keeper finale dinner event. The cast watched the two episode finale with the audience. Edwin's rumored girlfriend Gigi Ho was the MC of the night, thus the two became the center of attention. As for the "love triangle" Ruco, Linda and Ankie, they were not embarrassed at all as they linked arms to take pictures. Later, the three of them were back at their seats, Linda and Ruco were seen chatting nonstop.

Edwin joked thanking TVB for the arrangement [of the MC], he praised Gigi's beauty and talent. Asked if they're rapidly developing their relationship? Edwin appeared embarrassed as sweat came dripping down: "We're good friends. (Like family?) Hahaha!" As for Ruco's constant rumors lately, there were even rumors that he's a "brokeback"? Edwin expressed fortunately he didn't have any rumors and stressed that his career is his priority. Gigi jumped in and said focusing on career is a good thing, clearly supporting her 'boyfriend'. The two continued complimenting each other. Edwin got himself a bakery endorsement because of this series, but surprisingly Gigi mistakenly said she's also apart of this series, when she really wasn't. She said: "We had so many pasties to eat while filming this series. The only one I didn't get to try was the gingerbread. Maybe it was all sold out." Reporters asked Edwin if he had ordered wedding pastries before? He laughed: "Nobody uses gingerbread for weddings. Gingerbread is more for postpartum period, when you have a baby, I'll give some to you!"

During the voting part of the event, Ruco knelt down and asked Linda if she would marry him, but too bad Linda rejected him. Ruco immediately got off his knees and picked Linda up, it was a very funny moment. In the series, the scene where Ruco was in jail, apparently there was an iPhone seen in his pocket. Ruco expressed its been too long, he can't remember, but disclosed he forgot to zip up his pants during filming. As for the "brokeback" rumors, Edwin stressed he only likes women. Linda disclosed lately the paparazzi had been following her too much, but fortunately the people on the streets were kind enough to tell her. Asked if her boyfriend Philip Ng had complained about it? She changed the subject: "Not bad! I can spend more time at home to study the script. Can't even go on vacation."

Last night at the Brother's Keeper finale, the audience voted for their "My Most Liked Character" and Kristal Tin was the winner for her role "Cheung Kai Ying". Kristal teared up: "I'm very happy that I got a chance to portray this role. Special thanks to the audience and the neighbors because I got a lot of encouragement out on the streets. I suddenly feel like I got so many more relatives."

Kristal frankly expressed this role is considered her breakthrough, asked if this increased her confidence to get one of the year-end awards? She said: "I'll be happy enough if I get nominated, but since the audience will be voting for the winners, I have confidence." She was grateful for her husband Chapman To's support, even if he was busy filming, he would still watch the episodes he missed when he gets back to HK.

Also, Tina Sek played a young school girl in Brother's Keeper. After she got raped in the car by a triad leader, she committed suicide on the street and triggered Ruco Chan's conscience to be a spy for the police. Netizens watched Tina's scenes and felt very sorry for her, but it was also a little disturbing as well. Some said Tina frequently gets roles where she gets raped, Tina responded on Weibo: "I'm sorry to frighten you! I was just following the script. Its all Ruco Chan's fault, he didn't rescue me, otherwise I wouldn't have to die!"

Yesterday Kristal Tin, Ruco Chan and Edwin Siu held their Brother's Keeper Genting Concert in Malaysia. Louise Lee served as the special guest, and got the audience very high. Ruco Chan rose to popularity after TVB series The Other Truth, which was his first series as the leading role. Since then, his love life became the media's target. Even his on-screen mother Louise Lee praised he's a 'seun poon' and when she asked him what he's looking for in a partner, he appeared to have not wanted to talk about it. However, his 'mother' kept interrogating him until he answered. Ruco said: "I like active ones... you all (the audience) don't think you can wrong me! My partner should be able to respect my job, can have dinner at home, and watch TVB together. Haha!"

Eventually Ruco had other choice but to say that his personal life had always been the focus, especially his love life. "Every time, I responded to a rumor several times and they (the media) still enjoy writing more and more stories, its so annoying!" Then Ruco comforted himself: "This proves I'm news worthy." After the brief chat, Ruco continued his performance with his latest TV series theme song 'Just Missed A Step' (差半步) from Outbound Love. He concluded with: "Saya Cinta pada mu (I love you), don't forget my sweet talker role!" He expressed he hoped Outbound Love could get a sequel.

Edwin and Priscilla Wong had rumors after collaborating in Housewife Madam. Earlier it was reported Priscilla tried to "pursue" him even though he's already in a stabled relationship. Kristal answered on his behalf: "Edwin always has rumors with his female co-stars, except for me!" She then forced Edwin to confess his relationship with Priscilla. Edwin said: "After we finished filming the series, I rarely contact her!"Because Edwin's mother was in the audience supporting them, Edwin shouted: "Let's not talk about this in front of my mother!" Kristal then said to Edwin's mother that he's a great guy and he's always bringing good food to share with everyone on the set. Kristal expressed its her first time holding a concert in Genting and she didn't want to leave! She said she debuted 20 years ago, and finally she has the chance to fulfill her dream of releasing her very own album.

Louise Lee was a special guest, she performed a song with Ruco and Edwin. That night, she appeared in a bright red evening dress. She laughed: "Because New Year's just passed not long ago!" Before Louise performed her first song, she warned the audience: "I'm not good at singing, I hope you all will forgive me. I'm just here to stall, so my sons will have enough time to change!" Louise chose to perform two songs, both by Teresa Tang. She said: "Teresa Tang's songs are forever classics. If she's still alive, I definitely wouldn't dare to sing her songs! I really like her, so I will sing these two songs in her memory." Louise expressed there was a fan who mistaken her for another singer Fong Yee Kei, but she said: "No hard feelings because she's younger than me and sings better than me! Haha."
