*** I have re-watched Wooga Squad reality show again. I really enjoyed watching In the Soop: Friendcation” because it gives me a glimpse into the Korean celebrity friend-group known as Wooga Squad. What happens when you bring BTS’ V, Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik & Peakboy together? You get the Wooga Squad. This is a very great idea from V because here in this show it’s apparent just how close the five of them are. As matching schedules is a tough job for the five active artists, Choi Woo Shik and Park Hyung Sik agree to join as per their own timelines. The guys eventually forget the cameras and relax into relatable conversations about their friendship, work and aspirations. They even talk about their start, what drew them to each other and keeps them in contact amidst demanding schedules. The guys dig deep giving each other advice. Short-lived because it’s only 4-EPs reality show but pleasant to watch, maybe it’s compelling because of the infectious laughter or perhaps because it feels so sincere and unexpected. Either way, if you’re into any of these celebs (and even if you’re not), it’s an enjoyable and easy few hours watching these five guys get real somewhere in this show. Visiting the beach in winter made them more emotional. Interestingly, the cast refers to each other with their real

10 Encouraging K-Dramas About Following Your Dreams

Sometimes you need to “Start-Up” somewhere, for which you may have to “Fight For Your Way” to set a “Record Of Youth,” after all you should always “Dream High.” And no, these aren’t the lyrics of a new K-pop song but titles of popular K-dramas which have taught us to aim high and dream big.

From a struggling actor to an aspiring entrepreneur, an athlete who struggles for a comeback, or a mother who gets a second chance at fulfilling her dream, K- dramas have often given us inspiring stories of aspiration, motivating one through the journey of the protagonists. With the start of a new year, here’s a recap of 10 K-dramas which infused hope and made us believe that everything is possible when you set your mind to it.

Fight My Way

Life-is-rosy-for-the-youths-of-Fight-My-

Two childhood best friends, Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) and Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won), dreamt of making it big as adults, but the humdrum of daily life makes those dreams seem far and even unattainable. Dong Man dreamt of being the best martial arts expert but his last game puts a dent in his confidence, and he now lacks passion and has put his ambition on the back burner. Ae Ra aspired to be a TV presenter but has only faced constant rejections at every audition and interview.

The drama showcases how your socio economic status often dictates not only your position but also your ability to dream. Should Dong Man and Ae Ra resign to their fates or should they persevere nonetheless? “Fight My Way,” as the name suggests, is of going the distance despite the odds. It’s a coming of age drama as Dong Man, Ae Ra, along with Seol Hee (Song Ha Yoon) and Joo Man (Ahn Jae Hong), navigate around their daily struggles, relationships, and personal desires to chart their course of life.

Park Seo Joon charms as the simple minded and sometimes clueless Dong Man. He is easy going, sensitive, and unassuming on one hand, but he is also battling insecurities as he gears up for a fight in the arena. With his muscled physique and comic timing, the captivating Park Seo Joon will melt your heart. And Kim Ji Won as Ae Ra is also perfectly cast. She is relatable and believable that you will find yourself being drawn into her narrative easily.

Park Seo Joon And Han So Hee Fight To Survive Against A Period Of Darkness In “Gyeongseong Creature”

Park Seo Joon And Han So Hee Fight To Survive Against A Period Of Darkness In “Gyeongseong Creature”

Netflix’s “Gyeongseong Creature” is gearing up to premiere in 2023!

Set in the dark times of Spring 1945, “Gyeongseong Creature” is a thriller about two young adults who face off against a creature born from human greed and fight for survival. It will be written by Kang Eun Kyung of the “Dr. Romantic” series and directed by Jung Dong Yoon of “Stove League.”

Park Seo Joon is set to play Jang Tae Sang, the most wealthy man in Gyeongseong and the owner of the pawnshop Golden Jade House who has naturally keen insight and knows how to get by in the world. His sociable personality also makes him a well-known figure through Bukchon. Han So Hee will take on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, who searches for missing people. Since she was young, she learned how to get by in life with her father as they journeyed through Manchuria and Shanghai. Having survived through terrible situations, Yoon Chae Ok is skilled at working with guns, knives, and all sorts of machinery.

On January 17, Netflix teased their upcoming dramas for 2023, dropping the first still of “Gyeongseong Creature.” The newly released still previews the dark creature thriller to come, featuring Jang Tae Sang and Yoon Chae Ok together in an era of darkness, rampant with a creature born from greed.

“Gyeongseong Creature” is scheduled to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2023 via Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates!

First of all, as many as six Korean movies on Netflix will be released this year. Netflix's investment and challenge will continue into 2023.   :Megalol:

*** I am already excited for the pairing of PSJ & Han So Hee. 2023 has given way to some fantastic new K-dramas with competitive and genre-hopping storylines. What is also being looked out for are multiple fresh onscreen pairings to add to the spice. ’Gyeongseong Creature’ was already the talk of the town. It's being renewed for a season 2 even before the premiere of the first season, keeping us what’s to come. With little known about the release date so far, I hope we could get MORE updates about this upcoming drama.   :Fist1:

PSJ has 3 films,1 drama and 1 variety show to be released in 2023.

Up till now,  we only knew The Marvels will be on July 28 and Gyeongseong Creature to be released in Q4 and nothing heard from Dream & Concrete Utopia yet.  It's likely Concrete Utopia will be released around award season perhaps Cannes Festival in May maybe?!
