@serenilmauve  thanks for sharing this. The reason why I had fun watching the show is because it showcased the members’ true personalities! I had a closer look at their interactions. In particular, as one of the youngest,  they made sure to care for V. Yes, during the last episode of "In The Soop",  V started talking about his experiences on "Hwarang". In particular, he couldn’t stop praising Park Seo Joon for all the help he’d given him while shooting the series. This started their amazing friendship. The Wooga Squad’s friendship is unlike any others. They are always there to support each other. They always appreciate how important their presence is to each other.   :sweet:

20 Best K-Dramas From The Past Decade

The evolution of K-dramas has been crazy, especially in recent years. Even within the last decade, the Korean entertainment industry has garnered an even bigger international following. There have been more platforms and opportunities to watch K-dramas, which has only increased its viewers and popularity, especially on social media. From 2012 until now, we have been blessed with the likes of some crazy hit K-dramas that will forever be engrained in our hearts. Mind you, this list was almost impossible to narrow down, but here are just 20 of the best K-dramas from the past decade.

Disclaimer: List is in no particular order, and titles are from 2012 to 2022.

“Itaewon Class”

itaewon-class-1.jpeg

Park Sae Roy (Park Seo Joon) has been through a lot in his young life. His father is tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident, he is expelled from school, and he is sentenced to jail for three years. All this tragedy happens as a result of one family that owns the biggest restaurant chain in Korea. After getting out of jail, Sae Roy swears that he will get revenge and decides to open up his own restaurant called Dan Bam.

The misfit group of characters in this series won over the hearts of many. The exposure to the various characters and what they were experiencing was so raw and necessary, which many found solace in. Although there was a love triangle and love story in the series, the real overarching drive of the plot was seeing Sae Roy get the revenge he needed and to see him achieve his dreams of opening up a restaurant. All of these tropes and storylines provided viewers with an engaging watch, making it one of the best K-dramas ever.

I really loved the show as well, I am sad it is done :tears:

@backstreetboysfan  I love the final EP where they're ice-skating.  And wow – they have a whole hockey rink all to themselves! They do a short ice routine in time with whatever song is playing over the speakers. Sigh....only (3) of them did that - We don’t get a performance from Seo-joon & Hyung-shik - I felt a little sad & bad when it's the nearing end of their trip – Hyung-shik has to leave in the middle of the night for a shoot, while the rest of them will leave the next morning. But, very funny the part where the group reminisces a bit about the past few days, and V says he doesn’t remember why he cried the night before. But, the (4) are there to reenact every single moment mimicking V’s facial expressions and arm position. hahaha -  :Megalol:

@serenilmauve  thanks for sharing this recording of OST. It was also during the last episode of the series that all of the members had fun reminiscing on parts of their first trip together. It was one of their first excursions together after Park Hyung Sik enlisted. Park Seo Joon then revealed something that I LOL - He said that V surprised them with the yacht, but V didn't bring his wallet & it was him who made the reservation.  ButPark Seo Joon was the one who paid for it in the end.   :Megalol:

*** I thought all along that airing this variety show "In The Soop : The Friendcation" might have higher ratings. But, ratings were on the low side. I love Wooga Squad. I enjoyed all the (4) EPs, though. Most in US couldn't find this show to watch and this could have contributed to the low ratings. Despite, it's NICE to see them through this perspective.
