I cannot stand narrow minded people who think they are perfect and think they can judge other people. No human being is perfect! Let's move on already! JJH has more than paid a price for what he did. To me anyway, what he did does not even warrant what he had to go through.  I love him; He's one the finest actors Korea has, period! And even having never met him, I can tell the guy has a soul and is a wonderful human being.Thank you MBC for allowing us(his fans) to be able to savour  him again soon in our little screens! And Thank you KE for fighting for him and never giving up.JJH Fighting!!!!!

Annyeong @sogazelle :-h :-h
I so agree with what you said, it is human nature to err at times, and those mistakes hone us to be better persons in the long run. Yeah, he did commit a mistake but what he has done, he has already suffered for it, he stood up like a man facing the consequences, and most importantly, he did learn from it- big time. Those made him the man, the humble superstar, the noble soul that we all adore.
One mistake would never define you as a whole, one mistake is just a fraction of what you are.
Its just sad that people overlook the good things because of a single lapse that he did commit. We are not perfect, the fans are not perfect, those celebrities we like are not perfect, we will never be. So why be so judgmental right?? My mom said if you don't have something nice to say, just keep your mouth shut. I just hope the moms of those people have told them the same. :D:D:D
And yeah, I love him too! Every single cell of his being- I love! hihihihi! :x :x :\"> :\"> He really one of the BEST Korean actor of this generation, and heck yeah, his being sooooo good looking, and his humbleness adds up a million more x-factor points too! :x :\"> :xLet me quote you on this one for I cannot think of any other words to say:

If I remember right, there is a saying in the Bible that says: let the one who never sinned cast the first stone.  Who can cast the first stone then? You?

We are all human beings, we all make mistakes.  What is important is that we learn from our mistakes and change.  I am not condoning what JiHoon did, but he was still young then and was in a group.  He has accepted his mistakes, paid for them, and is giving his best to recover.  We should encourage people who want to change and not keep on judging them.  Otherwise, where is hope in this world?

Take care all....

Hi  :-h

umm..

news from Kang Hyo Jin aka @KpopFighting.com, predictable to occur.
if i'm not wrongly understood, Kang Hyo Jin him/herself stressed out that JiHoon participation is highly recommended, that's the reason MBC production were fighting for him.

I try to be ready to see more of negative comments..  B-)
(oohh.. TBH hopefully no need, eh! my poor heart.. hehehe.. be a real grown up please, people....)
:>

as you know... some of people are just like to spit out their comments.
and even if other give them the 'light', they just dont want to listen and think their comments are still the right one.
Oh well......
8-}

good comments and enlightenment from Lualm, Estrellita, Yanny, Novchime, 1023rs, sogazelle, and from all the supporters.

after reading this thread from the beginning, I like all the posts. Thank you girls.... (are there guys in here?)..
anyway in case.. Thank you All!!!
:D  ;)

Really looking forward for this drama, especially because of JiHoon-ssi in it.

I hope the actors can enjoy their roles
and
this drama can amuse us all

From what I've read in this thread, majority are not in favor of idol actors POSSIBLY  being casted. In fairness to Minho, he may not be the best idol actor out there but the kid got potential, he just have to take up acting classes. Plus, I dont think he will be casted for a major part if ever in this drama when the majority of the characters being casted are actors, so this bashing of Minho is unneccesary especially when it's not being TRULY confirmed that he is even considered. I am not very familiar about the movie/tv industry in Korea, but I notice various reactions if an idol is casted in a major drama, True , they couldnt get any high rating ( read somewhere about the rating of To The beautiful You, which is in single digits the entire time, if I have to believe that was printed) , but these kids work hard  as much as regular actors. I know I sound like I'm defending Minho, but I'm just saying that the bashing is uncalled for when that kid didnt even confirm his part of that drama, and even if he will..good for him, this might just be a good experience for him plus  he needs a good drama (not just a light romcom) to see if he is capable of doing it. Peace!

@timi163 We're not against idol actors, none of our previous comments have said this. We're against those who can't act and are getting lead roles they don't deserve. I have nothing against idol-actors because I love Sooyoung & Eunji in their dramas. Looking at the cast so far, we're hoping for someone at least on their level, Now, I don't have a problem with him being cast if it's not a major role or if he's improved, but only time will tell to say if he really has. It's no secret that many idols don't work on their acting an dare only put in these lead roles due to their popularity though the same can be said for some actors/actresses who clearly can't act. No one was bashing him, we just want him to be much more improved than he was in TTBY because this isn't a teen type of drama like that one was. I was also not happy with akp prematurely announcing something that wasn't even confirmed yet, we don't know if he's accepted the role or not. It all depends on his schedule because SHINee is busy in Japan. So again, no one here is against idol-actors and nothing we have said should have led you to that conclusion.

@timi163 I was wondering if I was being too rude, I don't like to be. I am also looking forward to this one. The last medical drama I watched was Third Hospital last year, it was really good & depressing at the same time.

SHINee′s Minho Joins ′Medical Top Team′ as Another Doctor

SHINee′s Minho will be reappearing on the small screen as the cutest doctor out there.

Minho′s role Kim Sung Woo is the youngest member of the medical team, and is known to be a good colleague thanks to his manners. His looks also help him stand out, along with his stylishness and his guardian-angel-type kindness toward Ah Jin (Oh Yeon Seo).

While Kwon Sang Woo, Jung Ryeo Won and Joo Ji Hoon will mainly lead the story, Minho will lighten the mood with his love stories and personality.

He plans to put on a character completely different from the charismatic image he dons onstage.

"I′ll try to learn a lot and work hard to become a more mature actor," he commented.

Medical Top Team will be about the workings of an elite medical team trying to fare its way amidst a power struggle shaking up the hospital. It will start airing in October.

Boy band SHINee member Minho has been offered a role in an upcoming medical drama starring top actor Kwone Sang-woo.

An official with SHINee’s agency SM Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone on Thursday that the idol star is considering playing a doctor in “Medical Top Team” (translated title).

Actress Jung Ryeo-won will also star in the series, and Oh Yeon-seo and Ju Ji-hoon have been cast in the show too.

Directed by Kim Do-hoon of hit historical drama “Moon Embracing the Sun” and written by Yoon Kyung-ah of medical drama “Brain,” “Medical Top Team” will show how a medical dream team comes together while reflecting on the reality of the medical industry.

The drama is set to show every Wednesdays and Thursdays on major broadcasting channel MBC starting in October after “Two Weeks” (translated title) ends its run.

Minho, 21, debuted with his popular five-member group in 2008. He has been in a couple dramas, most recently SBS’s “For You In Full Blossoms” last year.

Hi there, I just heard that the writer of this drama is the writer of "Brain"? Brain was my favorite Medical drama at all... Although, the ending of that drama.... I'm not satisfied but at least it has a good ending as well... And JJH will play the second lead there? Let's see since KSW is the male lead but I will definitely watch this.... How i wish that I balanced my work plus watching this drama as well hihihi! :P

Since Minho is officially a part of the cast, I hope he will show lots of improvement. I have a feelings he's going to get ripped a part for this for two reasons: 1) He's an idol and 2) He's an idol under SM..not a good combo lol But I hope he studies and works on his skill since this is a medical drama. His noona Sooyoung was in Third Hospital last year, not as a doctor but she was second lead.

K-pop idol band SHINee’s Minho will shake female TV viewers’ hearts this October in a white doctor’s gown.

Minho has confirmed his third small screen role in MBC’s upcoming series tentatively titled “Medical Top Team,” the drama’s promoter Y Tree Media said in a press release Monday.

The idol star will take on good-natured thoracic surgery specialist Kim Seong-woo, the youngest member of a top-class joint treatment team also set to be depicted by top actors Kwone Sang-woo, Ju Ji-hoon, Jung Rye-won and Oh Yeon-seo.

In the star-studded medical drama, Minho will play a pivotal role among the resident doctors who will go through a series of trouble in their work and love lives. He will also show his warm heart by supporting his colleague doctor Ah-jin (Oh).

Directed by Kim Do-hoon of hit romance epic “The Moon Embracing the Sun,” the new series will premiere in October as the follow-up of Lee Joon-ki’s upcoming drama “Two Weeks” (translated title) set to start next week.
