Well hopefully you'll be able to listen to all the songs in the album and share with us later.

I will, on my quiet time later tonight. :) Dynamite I'm really familiar with coz of the Samsung ad for the S20 FE. :D

Music for me will always be first and foremost what pleases my ear, and if it "connects".  Whichever genre, or who's singing/playing. BTS has plenty of wonderful pieces. I'd listen to them with noise cancelling headset to appreciate every single nuances.

For me, lyrics aren't necessarily so important - I mostly appreciate the melody and singing.  I did read through the lyrics of the songs though, but my answers are all based on the actual melody.

As you can guess from my name partyon, I like to have fun -> meaning that I naturally gravitate towards the songs that I can dance to.

I agree. My feelings about music also relate more to the singing/sounds, than lyrics. Not to say that lyrics aren't important per se, it's just for me, I focus more on how the music makes me feel.

My favourite from BE is also Telepathy, but I also like Life Goes On. It's feelgood music during these times, but also something that can be listened to on a rainy day.

I let the ad play until it finishes coz it's that catchy!  :D Might even get the mobile later too, hahaha! The green, orange, and red are just so nice to look at. Samsung and BTS partnership = thumbs up!

@partyon BTS and Samsung are partners.  We even have the phone with Samsung Galaxy BTS Edition.   However I'm happy with the purple Galaxy Bud and the best is the ad themselves (BTW, I'm not promoting the phone he he)

@MayanEcho I was thinking of the same thing too but it's still in my thought only at the moment.

Seokjin and Jungkook

@stella77 I love this one - V, Suga and JHope

Jimin and RM

I am not a fan of kpop groups (boys or girls) but I listened to all the songs listed.

It is my second time I watched a video of BTS after watching and listening Dynamite

Thank you for listening to their songs. Their discography is so large that one will find so many genre of songs and sometimes even a combination of different genre in one song.  Glad that you have found Black Swan, we love each of their performance of Black Swan.

This is their latest performing during BTS Week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

@stella77 Good news indeed. The suspense is on Monday .

Hello!

Of course I heard about BTS, there is a worldwide craze about the group and one of them even came to my city ("undercover") :). Heard about it later as the restaurant posted a photo of RM there. I haven't paid much attention to BTS (or any K-Groups to be honest). I listen more to the sounds of music rather than lyrics.

Good for RM.  May I know where your city is?  For the ARMY we have the understandable rule that is to just let them go anywhere freely even when you see them. We will just make way for them to walk peacefully (the opposite of a Sasaeng) Only when they have gone from the place a few hours later ... one might break the news.  I guess the best one is when BTS was having their vacation (Bon Voyage filming) in New Zealand.  Everything was peaceful.

It is understandable since that is what we hear and feel first.  I remembered my first listening to a BTS song and felt so emotional and cried without knowing what the song was about.  (It's The Truth Untold - the impact of listening to it is so much that I prefer not to listen to it while driving)

I am the type that if I were to meet a singer or celebrity that I admire or love, I would just smile and quickly walk away lol! I always feel that they already give so much to fans & the public and that they deserve their privacy and normal experiences in peace.

Another one @stella77

To all the "chingus" that have come to our "Listening Party", enjoying the songs, plus answering the poll,  thank you so much for giving us your time.

This party officially will be ongoing till the weekend so take your own sweet time to listen to it. Hopefully, which ever BTS song/s that you found during this event will stay forever with you.

@YongZura⁷ᴮᴱ and @partyon I wear their last tour CAP all the TIME!

Yup I am a fan of BTS and love this idea. I cannot wait to listen to all the songs.

When I went with my sis Godfather's daughters, the other mom thought I was the "mother" escorting my daughter.

NOPE, I am a fan and we are friends. LOL.

I recall seeing they first live at KCON NY and I knew of them but did not know how CRAZY obsessed ARMY was then.

I just saw many fans wear JONGKUK t shirts. I admit first bias was Rap Monster now RM. Then later added Jimin, V and Jongkuk and now I just LOVE them all.

I will make time to do this weekend.

Wow.... you have already known them during that time.  Well, as we know ARMY is diverse too just like their songs.  One will be surprised about the age range of their fans too.  We will only see this especially when we go to their concert. The whole family can enjoy it.  Well thanks @Nodame enjoy your weekend while listening to BE.

p.s It's midnight here and I'm listening to STAY while bouncing a little bit on the bed

@stella77 Hi my dear friend! Nice seeing you here! Yeah here it is 11:30am.

Yeah I started listening to Kpop in earnst in 2006. Don't get me wrong, I knew of Rain and Boa and SES, HOT, Dj Doc, etc too thanks to my Korean American Friends and going to the Korean American parties in College. I liked the dance music but did not know song titles and artists then.

I even trekked to NY to see their Exhibit last summer and only LA (two places in USA) that was in Korea (they did not translate alot of stuff kept in English --I did try to translate for some fans who were around me when I could. At least the videos had subs.

So love BIG BANG, 2pm, Infinite, SHINee, Miss A, Wonder Girls, Suju, SNSD etc.

When I went to Inkigayo recording back in 2012 thanks to my Korean teacher. I saw Lee Jong Suk MC replacing that weekend for IU (I saw her first solo concert then ---omg it was amazing) and Goo hara (RIP) and NIcole both of Kara there as MC.

Since then lucky to see concerts in Korea by chance SG Wannabe and Fly to the Sky. Others alot in NJ and NY --- Got7, GD, Taeyang, MonstaX, BAP, Twice,  Black Pink, 2NE1, 2AM, Winner, Baek Ji Hyeon, Sung Si Kyun, etc. Love KCON as I get to see rising artists groups--- Davichi, Kim Tae Woo (GOD) was amazing, etc.

@YongZura⁷ᴮᴱ OMG that song gives me the chills and LOVED it live. I agree. I was happy to see their concerts in the movie theaters too as well Seeing it with other fans was AMAZING. Yeah their James Corden Car Karaoke was my fave---Baby Mochi (Jimin) with Papa Mochi. Loved that moment! Also love all members getting better at English to communicate with the fans.

@Jillia I agree their musical journey is amazing. The fact they have members write and participate. All have their strengths and add various wonderful colors. I love that they are sharing their music. I agree their music has a collaborative story. I haven't listened to the song (all of them yet) but there are always songs that hit me deeply. But overall so proud of their journey and hard work too to give their hearts out 110% every time.

@Nodame @Jillia @YongZura⁷ᴮᴱ chingus, you are such kpop experts ! :glasses:

Only kpop act I've seen live was Super Junior. Wasn't a huge fan or anything - was just interested in attending a kpop concert. Used to listen a bit to kpop back in the day (mostly 2nd gen kpop), but am mostly immersed in kdramas nowadays.

Have been trying to put together a kpop event for a longer time already, but am a bit lost with the newer kpop groups, so have been struggling. Let's see if I can pull it off at some point :joy:

I'm grateful that you even changed your pfp for the event.  I keep seeing you jumping up and down ... ha ha...

I used to love watching Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook  and Immortal Songs where I got to know some of  the musicians.  (These are musical programs under KBS)  Don't worry about not knowing everything ... there are too many.  I'm happy with one group only)

@Nodame you can just visit this thread anytime to chat about your experience

p.s I'm taking another break and will see you a few hours later.  Take care and enjoy listening to  BE.
