I got to see these boys in person last December while they were at Thailand. Imagine my surprise when I went to check in at my hotel and found a sea of fan girls waiting at the entrance. When the security escorted me to the lobby on the first floor, they explained to me that a korean group called BTS was currently staying at the hotel.Obviously, I was also a fan but decided to keep my cool and wait around at the lobby for them while my companions brought our hand luggage to our room.After a few minutes of waiting, I finally got to see them and I got to stand really near because the hotel security knew I was staying at the hotel (and maybe because they didn't know that I was a fan).All I've got to say is... Wow. They look stunning in person. I felt like the pictures we see of them online don't do them much justice.
Throughout the days, I got to see them a few more times, sometimes even from an arms length away because I managed to bump into them (not literally) at the hallway leading to the lifts where fans were not allowed to enter. One thing that I noticed was that despite the happy faces they put on for their fans that came to greet them at the hotel lobby, they looked very tired when no one was around. That... and that Taehyung has a extremely judgmental face when he's not smiling. Haha.Despite seeing them a few times a day, I never really got to ask for a photo, partly because I felt bad about bugging them in their private time and also because they were constantly surrounded by bodyguards. Which led me to realise that being a k-pop idol is very tiring in the sense that you have no privacy and no freedom to do anything.They were mostly cooped up in their rooms and only got to travel outside for performances, practice sessions and fan meetings.Because of their schedule, they only got to visit the hotel pool while everyone (who are not out partying and clubbing) were fast asleep.And even then, there were fans that were creeping about. (Some of them were even just going up and down on the lifts hoping to bump into the boys AND literally followed me to my floor because one of the managers walked into the lift and they didn't want to get kicked out)
Please show these guys lots of love, they work so hard for their fans.

Big Hit Entertainment announced that BTS will be releasing a new mini album called Skool Luv Affair on February 12! This album is going to be about teen love.
