YongZura⁷ Posted August 7 Author Posted August 7 Credit to Soompi.com On August 7, BIGHIT MUSIC released the following official statement: Hello, This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We apologize regarding BTS member Suga’s electric scooter accident. On the night of August 6 (Tuesday), Suga was on his way home in an intoxicated state, using an electric scooter while wearing a helmet. He fell while parking after moving about 500 meters, and the police officer who was nearby conducted a breathalyzer test, resulting in a fine and the cancellation of his license. Nobody was hurt, and no property damage occurred due to the incident, and he was taken home under police custody. We apologize for the disappointment caused by our artist’s inappropriate behavior. As a public service worker, he will receive appropriate disciplinary action from his workplace for causing public disturbance. We will take greater care to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. Thank you. ctto 1
partyon Posted August 7 Posted August 7 @YongZura⁷ Am not gonna lie. Am extremely disappointed. Him injuring himself in a scooter accident back in the day... Did he not learn from that? Thank goodness he didn't injure himself this time - but am more thankful he didn't injure anyone else. Am not gonna shield him. He's a grown man, and he deserves whatever punishment he gets for breaking the law. The police also said in their statement that he lied about drinking only one beer when his alcohol level was 0.8-2.0... Some of the other things his agency and he said after this incident have also been proven to be lies. I hope that he reflects over this, and that he starts thinking about his drinking habits. One thing is for sure: Suchwita will be permanently canceled. Many k-netz are demanding that he leaves BTS. This is serious. Apparently BigHit Music released a second statement. Haven't seen Soompi's article yet, so am posting it from another site: https://www.koreaboo.com/news/bighit-music-releases-new-statement-bts-suga-dui/ 1
