I don't think SK has lacking of actors, but i think the producers are being careful on choosing cast because of the tight competition on rating. I also notice that almost all the drama that is currently airing now cast at least 1 idol because of the trending Kpop.

n earlier reports he's been confirmed to cast as male lead on upcoming weekend drama Scandal.  It's a story where a father loses his son when a building collapse. He then kidnap the son of the person who he thought  cause his son's death and raise him. When the son grown up he discovers the truth and was tormented by the fact that the father he use to know was a kidnapper. He then sets off to take his revenge and get involve into a scandal.Kim Jae Won will be playing the role as Ha Eun Joong , a detective with cold and tough personality in front but exceptionally warm and kind at heart. On his journey to overcome the pain cause by his sad fate, he fall in love with Woo Ah Mi played by Jo Yoon Hee, a cheerful and squirky 26 year old single mom. 
Kim Jae Won stated, you will be able to see him in more mature aspect on this new project. He previously work on May Queen as mischievous and easy-going Kang San.Mean while, Scandal will start to broadcast on July replacing 100 Years of Inheritance time slot.

[스포츠서울닷컴 | 이다원 기자] '구가의 서', '백년의 유산' 등으로 '드라마 왕국'의 명예를 되찾은 MBC가 4편의 새로운 드라마들로 굳히기에 들어갔다.

가장 먼저 첫선을 보이는 드라마는 오는 20일 첫선을 보이는 일일드라마 '오로라 공주'다. '보고 또 보고', '인어 아가씨' 등으로 유명한 스타 작가 임성한의 2년 만의 복귀작이다. 신인배우 전소민·오창석이 남녀주인공에 파격 캐스팅됐다. 이외에 손창민, 박해미, 박영규 등 탄탄한 중견배우들이 대거 합류해 17일 종영하는 '오자룡이 간다' 후속으로 방송된다.

후발 주자는 수목드라마 '남자가 사랑할 때'의 후속 작품인 '여왕의 교실'이다. '여왕의 교실'은 지난 2005년 일본 니혼TV에서 방영돼 높은 인기를 얻었던 '여왕의 교실(女王の敎室)'을 리메이크한 작품이다. 고현정이 주연을 맡아 화제를 더했다. 독선적이고 차가운 여교사가 초등학교 담임으로 부임하면서 벌어지는 에피소드를 담은 학원물로 6학년 학생들과 여교사의 대립을 통해 아이들이 성장해가는 과정을 그렸다. 아역에는 영화 '아저씨'의 김새론, '늑대소년'의 김향기, MBC 시트콤 '지붕뚫고 하이킥'의 서신애 등이 캐스팅됐다. 다음 달 12일 첫 방송 된다.

요즘 최고의 시청률을 보이고 있는 주말특별기획 '백년의 유산'은 김재원, 조윤희 주연의 '스캔들:매우 충격적이고 부도덕한 사건(이하 스캔들)'에게 배턴을 넘긴다. '스캔들'은 36부작으로 아버지가 자신을 납치한 유괴범이라는 사실을 알게 된 한 남자가 내면의 상처를 극복해가는 얘기다. '반짝반짝 빛나는', '로망스'를 집필한 배유미 작가가 극본을 맡았고 '에덴의 동쪽'을 연출하고 '최고의 사랑'을 기획한 김진만 PD가 메가폰을 쥐었다. 6월 말 방송 예정이다.

치열한 시청률 전쟁을 치르고 있는 월화드라마 자리에는 사극 '불의 여신 정이'가 들어간다. 7월 초 방송되는 '불의 여신 정이'는 16세기말 동아시아 최고 수준으로 과학과 예술의 결합체였던 조선시대 도자기 제작소 '분원'을 배경으로 '백파선'의 치열했던 예술혼과 사랑을 그린다. 또 그를 사랑했으면서도 떠나보내야 했던 풍운의 왕세자 '광해'의 삶을 재조명한다. 문근영, 이상윤이 타이틀 롤을 맡아 러브라인을 형성할 예정이다.

Hello guys, i think this is drama line up for MBC right? I use google translator and if i understand it correctly, it say's  that the Scandal drama series was 36 part. Which means it's only 36 episode, not 50. Can anyone recognize those other pictures? I only know the old lady from Can You Hear My heart, the other's are familiar but i don't know their name. Please help out...

MBC 드라마가 상승세를 초여름까지 이어갈 수 있을까.

일일드라마 '오자룡이 간다', 월화드라마 '구가의 서', 주말드라마 '백년의 유산' 등으로 '드라마왕국'의 부활을 알린 MBC가 5월 14일 초여름 드라마 라인업을 공개했다.

가장 먼저 첫 선을 보이는 드라마는 '오자룡이 간다' 후속작 '오로라 공주'(가제)다. 5월 20일 첫방송 되는 '오로라 공주'는 '보고 또 보고', '인어아가씨' 등을 집필한 스타작가 임성한의 2년만의 복귀작이라는 점에서 큰 관심을 끌고 있다.

오디션을 통해 신인배우 전소민 오창석을 주연으로 파격 캐스팅했으며 손창민, 박해미, 박영규 등 탄탄한 중견 배우들이 대거 합류한다.

Yes, in DH 2 ep 5 cmiiw. Someone in military uniform. I thought someone mentioned that it was him. I myself don't know how PSY look like. Maybe I am the only one who is not interested to take a look when people out there talked about the famous gangnam style. =))
