One thing im really curious to find out is how will hye jung react to ji hye's accidental overdose of sleeping pills?

We all know hye jung has decided to treat ji hye better now but will hye jung display concern for ji hye in the next two episodes?

Hope the writer will give us a short scene about it...

me too....i had rewatched it countless of times including their unexpected meet-ups after jh's marriage...i had even downloaded the MVs featuring the OTP and watched it again and again...i never get tired of watching my favourite couple....

It is such a pity lee sang woo and nam sang mi do not have many scenes together...

I agree.  No matter how contrite and apologetic Michael Noh is, there are somethings that are just not excusable.  I know that for many, the adultery is the biggest sore point.  However, for me, the straw that broke the camels back was when he threw the divorce papers in Eun Hee's face.  That was the most insulting thing to do.  And, for which there is no excuse or apology sufficient to erase it. 

He had an affair.  He can be apologetic for having done that.  He wanted a divorce.  He can be apologetic for that.  He moved out of the house.  He can be apologetic for that.  All the insulting and degrading things he said to her, he can be apologetic for them.  But, there are just some things that a civilized person does not do to another person.  To throw the papers into her face is not an act that can be forgotten or forgiven.  And, that's why an apology does not work.  [-(

I heartily agree with the comments many of you made concerning the first episode.  It was so amazing the chemistry they shared and how quickly they fell in love (HY/JH).  That's what sucked us all in and what kept us all hoping they would be together in the end.  THAT STUPID FIRST EPISODE!   And then it all went downhill from there.  (

Are there any on screen couple becoming an off screen couple for reals?

Because Nam Sang Mi seems to be quite compatible with Lee Sang Woo and Kim Ji Hoon in different ways...

And this drama is ending soon...  (

I only know a few...

Lee Bo Young + Ji Sung = Married.
Nam Sang Mi + Lee Sang Yoon = Broke Up.
Ji Hyun Woo + Yoo In Na = Still together
Song Hye Kyo + Hyun Bin = Broke Up.

I think she is the mother of the toddler girl, who is going to act as Yeon Soo and Tae Hyun's daughter in GoM.
Maybe she had just brought her toddler daughter to SBS station for a wardrobe fitting!


The blogger says the toddler girl is acting as Yeon Soo's daughter.
She will be filming scenes of GoM with the rest of the cast on Jeju Island next week?
There will be a birthday party scene to celebrate the baby's one or two years old birthday?
They met the actress who is playing Yeon Soo, Jo Min Su (Ji Sun) and Lee Tae Ran (Hye Jung) on the set too.

Episode 33 (speculated interpretations)

Tae Wook sends Ji Hye to the hospital in an ambulance.
At the ER room, a reporter is covering the news of an accident.
He notices Tae Wook in the ER room.
He asks the nurse at the work station why Sin Young Group's third son is at the hospital?
The nurse says the patient who was just admitted is his wife, the third daughter in law of Sin Young Group.
The reporter goes out and makes a phone call to the editor about the latest scoop of Ji Hye's admission.
Tae Wook notices the reporter, who immediately changes the subject while talking.
The reporter returns to the ER room and tries to take photos of Ji Hye lying on the bed.
Doctors and nurses plus several policemen escort him out of the ER room.
Hearing a commotion in the ER room, Tae Wook sees the reporter being booted out of the ER room by the policemen and staff.
Tae Wook is a little suspicious but doesn't take much to heart.

SK is finally able to visit Hyun Woo at the department of justice.
Hyun Woo finally tells SK not to see him anymore.
SK doesn't take the news well.
She refuses adamantly.
Hyun woo seems to be resolute regarding his decision.
SK drives home alone in tears. (luv her car!)

Ji Hye is finally rescued successfully by the doctors.
She is being moved out of the ER room to the ward.
Tae Wook asks the doctor if Ji Hye is okay now?
The doctor says yes, they had successfully flushed her stomach.
Tae Wook is relieved.
Tae Wook is next seen holding Ji Hye's hand on the bed in the ward.
For the SECOND TIME! OMG... Sigh...

Arrogant Prosecutor is interrogating Nam Mi Ra.
He marvels at Nam Mi Ra's resume, then he asks her why she got into business?
nmr says because talents and money are two things a painter cannot have at the same time?
meaning she has talents but no money?
AP says it seems like NMR is talented in doing business too.
NMR says that's why she is there at the department of justice.
she says she gave herself up to him.
What can AP do for her?
AP says he knows NMR is very good at making crab jiang and kimchi for chaebol wives.
NMR says why does AP like crab jiang and kimchi too?

NMR tells AP to help release her, hence she can make some for AP too...

MIL is enjoying her red wine in her gallery room.
She then goes out to the living room.
The new maid is uneasy when talking to MIL, because she has seen the headlines on the newspapers.
MIL reads the newspapers and is shocked to see the headlines.
She goes mad and yells!

MIL takes the newspapers and enters the study room.
She asks if FIL knows about the headline about Ji Hye?
FIL asks what?
MIL shows FIL the newspapers.
FIL is mad upon seeing this headline!
He yells..."Tell Kang Tae Wook to come home now!"
HJ is shocked and worried to see this headline too.
She sighs...

TW rushes home in a taxi.

HJ is seen making a phone call to the Editor of the newspapers.
She is scolding them for issuing fake headlines without confirmation.
She says Sin Young Group has been a huge advertiser in their newspapers, do they want Sin Young Group to not advertise with them anymore?
She tells them to recollect all of their newspapers nationwide and reprint the headlines.
If they couldn't recollect all of the newspapers in time, publish an apology and retract their headlines.
Delete the articles on their website too.
She then calls Secretary Kim to handle the Ji Hye headlines issue, to help her contact the President of the newspaper publisher.

Tae Wook returns home in a rush.
MIL throws a fit.
She asks TW if JH is crazy?
TW yells at his mother!
FIL tells TW to bring JH home now.
TW is hesitant and says she hasn't recovered.
FIL insists.
HJ enters the study room.
FIL asks her if the issue has been settled?
HJ says she has asked secretary kim to handle it, and to prevent the spread of discussion on Internet?
newspapers will be recollected.
FIL tells TW to bring JH home now no matter what.
TW says yes reluctantly.
TW exits the study room.
HJ follows and asks if JH is okay now?
TW in a pale expression tells HJ JH is fine now.
HJ asks TW why is JH like that?
TW says JH seems to be suffering from depression.
He thanks her for her concern and walks away dejectedly.
HJ looks on with sincere concern in her eyes.

At Ye Sol's house.
Grandma CEO is reading newspapers.
She stops reading and ponders.
MinJung has prepared a luxurious spread of breakfast on the table.
She is very proud of what she has done.
Grandma CEO is dismayed to see such an extravagant spread of breakfast.
She tells the maid to remove the dishes.
Only a simple few dishes are served.
MJ is visibly embarrassed.
Grandma CEO gives a lecture about being frugal and not lead a luxurious lifestyle?
MJ is scared and sad.
Ye Sol looks at MJ apologetically.
MJ looks on helplessly.
Grandma CEO asks where is Eun Hee?
Maid says Eun Hee has gone out early in the morning.

Eun Hee is seen at the police station.
Seung Soo is yelling while being locked up in the cell.
She is there to bail Seung Soo out.
Seung Soo goes on and on about San Francisco!
Eun Hee cannot stand it.
She turns around and asks him what is he doing now?
She asks him why did he go to Grandma CEO's estate in the middle of night?
SS says EH was proposed to by Pil Ho!
He was there to stop her from leaving for San Francisco.
He goes on and on...
Eun Hee cannot stand him anymore.
The police ask EH if she wants to bail SS out?
EH looks at him...and gives a cold look.
EH walks away...while SS calls out to her not to leave him behind.


MJ is calling Ji Sun to complain about Grandma CEO's weird poor man's palate.
MJ asks Ji Sun what to do.
Ji Sun thinks it is not a big problem.
She tells MJ to shut up, she has to go to work soon.
JS tells MJ what a person Grandma CEO is...actually like.
MJ says...really?

Chang Soo gets out of his tent and goes to work on his scooter.

JS explains to MJ every chaebol family has its own rules.
MJ asks what should she do?
JS says what does she mean what should she do?
Just deal with it!?


TW goes to the hospital and visits JH.
Professor Kim is already there looking at JH.
She tells TW something about JH's previous consultation with her.
She tells TW to talk to her in her office and walks out.
TW caresses JH's face and goes out too.
In her office, Professor Kim tells TW what is happening with JH.
She cannot sleep and hence she has to take sleeping pills.
But by taking sleeping pills, she cannot get pregnant.
She also mentions something about the trip to America.
She is advising them to move out or leave for America.
Something about feeling regretful...?
That if TW doesn't bring JH and leave his family now, does he want to be regretful in the future?
Tae Wook listens and falls into a pensive mood...
He walks past the psychiatry department and looks at the sign...Nerves Neuropsychiatry.


JH is already up and the nurse serves her breakfast.
JH has no appetite to eat.
Tae Wook walks into her ward.
JH says "Tae Wook shi..." and says sorry to him.
She didn't mean for this to happen.
TW hugs her and she cries...and says sorry.
TW says it's okay and cries.
Very sad sight...
JH asks if MIL is angry with her...
TW doesn't go into specifics...and says don't worry about them, he is more worried about her.
He hugs her tightly and both cry like hell.

TW is in the car with JH...in the backseat.
JH is leaning on TW's left shoulder while feeling exhausted.
He is holding her hand.
JH asks TW if JS knows about her hospital admission.
TW says JS didn't call him? She doesn't know.
JH is relieved and says this is fortunate.
JH talks about the meaning of marriage?
She says sorry to him...
TW hasn't been really happy since he married her.
TW would be so much happier if he didn't marry a woman like her...
She truly feels sorry for giving him so much trouble since she married him?
For the first time, since they got married, she truly thinks she has been a bad wife to him.
She keeps making people who love her get worried about her, her father, her elder sister and TW.

TW is holding his tears but he can't.
JH says something about her trying her best to be his wife.
She really wants to be the best wife she can be...but she just couldn't.

They also discuss something about death...

TW asks if she won't mention divorce again?
JH says yes, she won't? (i'm really not sure...)
She is truly sorry for everything.
JH then lies her head on TW's lap and rests.
TW looks at her in this state and cries uncontrollably and silently.

At TW and JH's villa,
JH is sleeping soundly on the bed.

TW is in the study with FIL and MIL.
He is asking for permission to go to America and move out...?
So JH can live in a stress free environment.
MIL objects adamantly.
FIL tells MIL to leave the study room.
FIL goes into a tirade on TW and says now it is a trying time for Kang family, TW absolutely cannot leave their family!
TW cries uncontrollably at his own helplessness within this family.

TW exits the study room.
HJ sees him and asks how's JH now?
TW says...JH is sleeping at home now.
HJ says something to TW...can JH get off the bed and walk now?
TW says it is not yet, thanks for HJ's concern, and walks away with droopy shoulders.
HJ looks at TW walking away with concerned eyes...

HJ goes up to her room and sees Yuri and Yujin running back into their room.
HJ asks them why are they running at home?
Yuri and Yujin are discussing about their prank on TaeJin in their room.

TaeJin wakes up finally and exits his room.
He stretches his arms and yawns.
HJ sees TJ's messed up face, as it was marked with markers.
HJ smiles at this sight, thinking TJ looks really stupid.
TJ says HJ was the one who brought him home isn't it?
He had a good sleep.
TJ asks why HJ is looking at him like that?
He says didn't HJ ask for a divorce earlier and move out earlier?
Why is she back now? Ah...see she does miss seeing her husband right?
HJ just smiles and looks at him...

Eun Hee is rushing to the police station while Pil Ho is following her, asking her where is she going?
SS is creating havoc in the detainment cell.
Eun Hee asks him what does he want!
She cries...
SS says he wants to see her...?
Pil Ho is saddened to see this sight.
SS tells Pil Ho to come closer to him..
SS grabs PH's hair...
PH grabs SS's hair through the bars...
Eun Hee tries to stop them.
In the end, all three of them are locked up in the cell.

Chang Soo and his parents rush to the police station.
They are here to bail SS out.
Finally SS is let out.
Then FIL and MIL finally notice Eun Hee.
They ask why EH is there?
The policeman asks EH if she has anyone to call to bail her out?
EH keeps quiet.
FIL then tells the policeman, he is EH's family member.
She is his daughter in law...?
EH is touched...
FIL explains to the policeman what happened in their family?
FIL apologises to Eun Hee sincerely.
EH cries and falls into FIL's arms, while he consoles her...
Pil Ho looks on sadly...while feeling obviously out of place.

Ji Sun finally arrives at the police station.
CS asks JS why is she there?
JS awkwardly says she is there to bail out Eun Hee.
MIL gives JS a look...
JS avoids eye contact with MIL.
CS tells JS what is happening with Eun Hee.
JS looks at EH...and is surprised and touched to see FIL hugging Eun Hee.

CS, FIL, MIL, SS and EH are having a drink at the roadside stall.
MIL scolds SS for ending up in the police station.
MIL then offers a toast to EH...
EH then accepts MIL's toast and drinks her own glass of soju.

JS and Pil Ho are walking towards the roadside stall.
They are talking about EH...
Pil Ho sees how happy EH is at the roadside stall enjoying the drinking session with her family.
JS asks PH if he wants to drink with them?
PH says no..thanks.
He says he is going...
JS looks at PH...and then walks over to the roadside stall.

JS walks to the roadside stall and everyone welcome her to their drinking session.
PH looks at how happy EH's family is...
He sighs and walks away...

At cold castle, breakfast table...
everyone is looking at JH falling asleep at the table.
HJ looks at JH with concerned eyes.
MIL is absolutely pissed.
FIL is irritated.
TJ is his no brainer self.
Yujin naively asks HJ why JH is sleeping?
HJ gestures to Yujin to keep quiet.
She looks at JH with concerned eyes again.
TW is making a phone call in the living room.
After he finishes the phone call, he enters the dining room.
He is shocked and sad to see JH falling asleep at the table.
Yujin naively tells TW JH has been sleeping at the table since just now...?
TW is feeling sad and concerned for his wife again.

TW is getting ready to go to work..at his villa.
JH passes him his handkerchief.
She apologises for falling asleep at the table just now.
TW says it's okay...
He tells her not to care about what his family members think about her...
She has to rest whenever possible?
TW asks if she understands?
JH dutifully says she understands.
He says he will meet her for dinner and movie that evening?
TW hugs her tightly, while being on the verge of crying again.

SK returns home in a huff.
Her mother goes up to her room and asks SK what is wrong?
SK reveals HW wants to call off their engagement?
SK says she feels like dying...
SK's mom cries too when she sees SK in such a heart breaking state.

HW is mopping in his jail cell again...Wonder what is he thinking?
Why am I so unlucky?
How's JH now?
Where the hell is Kyung Min?


At the high class restaurant, JH is dozing off
Some of the restaurant patrons are talking about her...weird behaviour.
TW arrives at the restaurant.
He exits his car and is on the phone.
He looks at the restaurant windows and spots JH sitting by the window, dozing off in her seat.
He feels very heart wrenching to see JH falling asleep uncontrollably.
He hangs up his phone call..
He stands outside the restaurant and looks at her silently.

Moment freezes.
End of Episode 33.

Preview of Episode 34.
TW finds JH sleeping on the bed and he sits beside her and embraces her face.
He is seen taking a stroll with JH hand in hand by the pond in their estate.
MIL's art pieces are being removed from the Kang family estate.
MIL is mad at FIL for doing so...
FIL's voice is heard in the background saying smth...
HJ is taking a stroll with TJ while having a picnic with their daughters.
TJ gives a serious and worried expression.
HJ looks at him with tears in her eyes.
JH is folding laundry in their villa's living room.
TW is sitting adjacent to her on another sofa.
JH asks TW something...what is TW thinking...?
TW responds and says...something about "About Me and You..."
JH looks up with a worried expression.

This episode's highlights are the scenes of TW and JH in the ward and in the car.
VERY SAD! VERY TOUCHING! VERY HEART WRENCHING!
Actually if they can leave for NY, they make it together as a couple...no?

Wish I understood korean but the short of the scene where we thought TW will finally stand up to his parents was a no show. It confirms what someone from the forum already said TW is useless. He may claim or even fel love but he doesn't know how to do anything. If you think back if he wasn't a prosecutor he wouldn't have had his power. Funny scene with mj and her mother in law. The writer must be trying to show there is NO good MIL . I am finding some humor now ... I must be desperate

This episode requires a lot of good subbing to understand. I am sure it is critical. JH is explaining how sincerely she tried and how hard and how sorry she is. ... TW is really killing JH. even thou he realize it's because he wants to possess her. i really cant forgive him even with excuses of his family out of control or his love for her. he knows he is killing her. he can see it. we can see it in the scene. I think what will hopefully make TW realize in the end (certainly still not now since he is still doing the proposal to parent to leave for US per the doctor recommendation as a strategy which is clearly to me not for her but for him to have her stay by his sad) may be the ending is really his realization that he needs to give JH up to love her. That is probably the only way TW character has redeeming quality to me. Sorry
