The Heirs: Timeless K-drama with powerful casts

The Heirs also known as The Inheritors is one of the timeless Korean dramas that make us realize how powerful love is and that it has no status to begin with.

You may differ in some aspect, living both in different worlds, and seems like it is against all odds, but what matters the most is your feelings for each other. Whether you are willing to beat the odds and climb to the top of the pyramid or rather descend.

oreover, it’s been years since this 2013 romantic Korean drama starring Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, and Kim Woo Bin welled up our young hearts and influence us in many forms.

It tells the story of a diligent high school girl who does different part-time jobs to help her mute mother and supports her older sister’s studies in America.

She unexpectedly steps in the world that is way different from her’s. The world of the rich people who do not worry anything up until the future. But would she still manage to cross that thin line separating the two worlds? Or would the people on the other side dare to cross it and treat the world fairly?

The Heirs also teaches us lessons and makes us open to the facticity yet stony reality. Here are 6 heartwarming messages in the said drama:

1. Love has no status.

Loving someone doesn’t require any qualifications. We all have the right to love and to be loved whoever we are — poor or rich, fat or thin, sick or not.

2. Do not be coward, be brave

In order to win any battles, you need to be brave and face even the most dangerous and fearful thing in the world. Your braveness can win any battle, it’s either be in war or love.

3. Fight for what is right.

Fight your own living will as a person. It doesn’t mean they have the money and all means, they have the right to intimidate and command you. However, if you haven’t done anything bad, face them and use your liberty. Just like how brave Eun Sang to fight her love for Kim Tan.

4. Family comes first.

Dramas to watch in marathon for their love stories and action scenes
"The Heirs" and
"The King: Eternal Monarch" are some of the dramas that you can see on Netflix

“The Heirs”, the success of this drama lies in its cast, as it stars Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye. Photo: Special

Asian doramas or series are becoming more popular among young Mexicans, but there are certain stories that are ideal to watch in a marathon with your partner, because in addition to posing a good love story, they have a dose of action scenes that will catch them, like  "The Heirs", which you can find on Netflix.

4.- "The Heirs"
Although it is a story about adolescents and has 20 chapters, you will get hooked with the lives of two young people from different social classes who are in an exclusive school in Korea, where they will learn about the family business, while they learn more about love. The success of this drama lies in its cast, as it also stars Lee Min-ho and Park Shin-hye. In addition, it has an international soundtrack.

It only has one season that premiered in 2013.

This is one of my favorite dramas with the scenario of rich boy and poor girl. I am a total sucker for that kind of story plot, I don't know why. But when I read the synopsis or watch the trailer of a drama and there is that kind of plot, then I watch it. Maybe I am a total romantic, I guess. I totally love this drama and the cast plus the OST. I have watched this 2 or 3 times already. And somehow I will never get tired of watching it over and over again when I have the time.

I watched The Heirs more than 50 times but I just wondered and find the answer for this scene. I've just found out today for Cha Eun Sang's final exam result...She ranked at 53rd place
She was behind Kim Tan

[The Heirs] Jeguk High School Finals Ranking (Eun Sang’s Ranking Revealed)

The production team released the ranking of JEGUK High School’s final exam grades for the junior class! As you know, Yoon Chan Young is undefeated, Kim Tan retrieved his pride by ranking #50 instead of #100 while Myung Soo took over Tan’s crown haha. The 150 IQ Choi Young Do actually tried this time and went all the way up to #27 from #98!

The biggest question? Cha Eun Sang’s ranking? She ranked #53! 3 places behind Kim Tan, no wonder she ran away! hahahah Tan will never let her live this down.
Fun fact: They made the director, Kang Shin Hyo ranked #4! haha
For those who can’t read Hangul, the ranking is as follows.
#01. Yoon Chan Young
#02. Yoo Rachel
#27. Choi Young Do
#35. Lee Bo Na
#50. Kim Tan
#53. Cha Eun Sang
#65. Kang Ye Seul
#100. Jo Myung Soo
