'Iron Man 3': Guy Pearce as the villain - poster

Iron Man 3 has debuted a Guy Pearce character poster.
The Prometheus actor will appear as the villain Aldrich Killian in the first of Marvel Studios' Phase Two movies.


Killian is the inventor of the Extremis virus, a nanotechnology intended to create a new breed of supersoldier.
Pearce has described his role as "kind of cameo stuff", saying that Ben Kingsley's Mandarin is the chief villain of the movie.
He has been teased as the mastermind behind the events of the film.
Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Wang Xueqi will also appear in the Shane Black-directed movie.

I didn't see Iron Man 1 & 2, I'm thinking about watching them soon. I've seen a few pictures on FB about the new Iron Man. I really like Marvel too, so this will be a treat.
