 Lee Dong Wook Braids His Daughter’s Hair in ‘Heaven’s Order’

Ever the loving onscreen father, Lee Dong Wook has been captured braiding his daughter’s hair in the upcoming KBS drama Heaven’s Order.



On March 15, a new photo was released for Heaven’s Order showing Lee Dong Wook and child actress Kim Yoo Bin in an intimate setting, as Lee Dong Wook braids his drama daughter’s hair. 

His daughter is seen curiously peering into her mirror, while Lee Dong Wook has on an emotional expression, showing the calm before the storm. 

Heaven’s Order is about the oriental medicine doctor, Choi Won (Lee Dong Wook), who searches for every possible way to help his daughter survive an illness while running away from false accusations in a murder conspiracy. This is Lee Dong Wook’s first sageuk drama. 

The drama’s production company stated, “Lee Dong Wook’s affection towards Kim Yoo Bin is great. He always treats her like his real daughter and takes care of her.”

The drama will air after Iris 2 in April.

Actor Lee Dong Wook is a single, caring father.

On March 15th, KBS released the first still from new historical drama “Heaven's Order.”

The picture features leading male role Choi Won (Lee Dong Wook) and his daughter Choi Rang (child actress Kim Yoo Bin). Choi Won is braiding his daughter’s hair, while the little girl checks herself in the mirror, as this is described as a peaceful, normal day in their lives.

In the drama, Choi Won becomes a single father, after his wife died. He has to play the role of both a father and a mother, and as seen in the picture, that includes doing womanly things.

A representative from the drama stated that Lee Dong Wook takes care of Kim Yoo Bin like she was his real daughter, and that he has developed a great affection for the little girl.

“Heaven's Order” is about a herbal doctor Choi Won, who works as royal doctor. He tries hard to look for the cure, to his daughter’s terminal disease. In the middle of all that, he gets unfairly involved in a conspiracy to kill the current king. Due to that, he has to know live as fugitive.

“Heaven's Order” that is also starring Song Ji Hyo, will start its run on April, after the conclusion of “IRIS 2.”

"Heaven's Order" Song Ji-hyo

Song Ji-hyo was seen in a Hanbok in a scene from the KBS 2TV drama "Heaven's Order".

Song Ji-hyo seems poise and elegant and is actually a very medically knowledgeable and caring character who goes by the name of Hong Da-in.

In the picture, Song seems calm but eager and she's focused in her role of Hong Da-in. Unlike her character in entertainment programs, she's very sincere and this increases expectations about the drama. She looks calm even in the picture where she's covering herself with a blanket from the cold.

A spokesperson from the drama set said, "Song Ji-hyo doesn't stop being Hong Da-in even when the camera stops. She works hard to show her best".
