glasses for wide faces

I have a mega wide asian face and I now have to wear glasses.
What glasses are suitable for wide faces?
Also what brands cater for wide faces?

Usually I let my eye doctor tell me if it looks good or not, they know their stuff.

I find that if you have a wider face, go for thinner frames. The whole thick plastic frames thing just makes your face look bulkier.
