Movies that have been delayed due to the corona pandemic that lasted two years are preparing for release this year. Let's first meet the actors who are expected to stand out among the many works that are about to meet with the public.

The 'BIN' oppas we've been waiting for also come.

Hyun Bin is preparing for the release of 'Cooperation 2' and 'The Point Men'. 'Cooperation 2' is a North Korean detective named Lim Cheol-ryeong (Hyun Bin) sent to South Korea in pursuit of a brutal and sophisticated criminal organization, and a South Korean detective named Kang Jin-tae (Yoo Hae-jin), who volunteers to be a partner to return to the Kwangsu University. Even Jack (Daniel Henney), it depicts an unpredictable global cooperative investigation between North and South American detectives united for their own purpose.

'The Point Men', which Hyun Bin and Hwang Jung-min overcame Corona and filmed at an overseas location in Jordan last year, is also preparing for release this year. 'Negotiation' is a work about the rescue of abductees based on the abduction of a Korean in the Middle East. Director Im Soon-rye, who directed 'The Best Moment of Our Life' and 'Little Forest,' took the megaphone. Hyun Bin is expected to communicate with the audience by showing a completely different side in two films this year.

Another Bin's older brother, Kim Woo-bin also visits the screen. Kim Woo-bin, who had been away from work for a while due to health reasons, returned to health and joined director Choi Dong-hoon's 'Alien + Human'. Alien filmed two episodes in a row for over a year. The first part of 'Alien + Human' will be released this year, and it is expected that you will be able to see Kim Woo-bin on the screen after a long time. 'Alien + Man' is a film depicting an extraordinary story unfolding as the door of time opens between the sages who are trying to take possession of the new sword rumored to be in the late Goryeo and the present in 2022, when aliens appear.

Attention is paid to what the actors expected this year will show in their works.

The year 2022 is shaping up to be a big year for the film industry, with an enormous lineup of movies coming to theaters. These include a number of delayed blockbusters rescheduled for release in 2022 because of the pandemic, such as "Emergency Declaration," "Life is Beautiful" and "Hero."

New releases by directors like Kim Han-min, Choi Dong-hoon and Kim Yong-hwa will provide viewers with a wider selection. Some actors will also expand their talents behind the camera for their feature directorial debuts.

Long-awaited movie sequels will be among the biggest releases of 2022.

Choi Dong-hoon, the director behind the commercially successful films, "The Thieves" (2012) and "Assassination," (2015) will present sci-fi crime flick "Alien," a two-part blockbuster about aliens living in Korea that travel back in time to the Joseon era (1392-1910). 2021 was an exciting year filled with an impressive slate of shows that marks the return of big stars. Song Joong Ki, Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Young Ae, and Song Hye Kyo captivated viewers with their timeless performance and stunning looks on their long-awaited TV series. This year will also welcome the return of impressive A-list stars. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the actors who will be making their grand TV returns.

Kim Woo Bin – Our Blues (working title)

Kim Woo Bin took a break from acting after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in 2017, and this year, he is making his long-awaited return both on small and large screens. As Kim Woo Bin went into hiatus in 2016 and hasn’t been around since, the public interest is naturally stacked against his comeback projects. Our Blues, which Kim Woo Bin was confirmed to star in back in October of last year, is one of the most anticipated dramas dropping in 2022. The upcoming drama is garnering attention for not only being Kim Woo Bin’s comeback drama since Uncontrollably Fond but also for its star-studded cast. Written by Noh Hee Kyung and starring Shin Min Ah, Lee Byung Hun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Han Ji Min, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Jung Eun, Our Blues is an omniverse drama set in Jeju Island that tells the stories of many different people. Kim Woo Bin plays the role of Captain Park Jung Joon, who has a pure heart and a romantic interest in veteran diver Lee Young Ok, played by Han Ji Min. In the meantime, Shin Min Ah will work closely with Lee Byung Hun.

Kim Woo Bin, Esom, And Kang You Seok Confirmed To Star In New Dystopian Drama

dummy.jpeg?s=900x600&e=t

Kim Woo Bin, Esom, and Kang You Seok will be working on the upcoming Netflix original series “Delivery Knight” (working title) together!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Delivery Knight” takes place in 2071 where pollution has become so severe that people can’t survive without respirators and tells of the story that unfolds as legendary delivery knight 5-8, who has extraordinary fighting skills, meets refugee Sa Wol, who dreams of becoming a delivery knight because they are the refugees’ only hope. As Korea undergoes desertification, the remaining 1 percent of humanity has become stratified, and delivery knights have come to play an extremely important role in society.

The webtoon for “Delivery Knight” won an E-IP Pitching (Entertainment Intellectual Property Pitching) award at the 2018 Asian Contents & Film Market and received attention for highlighting the work of delivery people, creatively portraying them as special people in charge of everyone’s survival. The drama will be helmed by director Jo Ui Seok of the films “Master,” “Cold Eyes,” and “The World of Silence.”

Having captivated viewers with projects including “Master,” “Twenty,” “The Con Artists,” “Uncontrollably Fond,” and “Heirs,” Kim Woo Bin will be playing the legendary delivery knight 5-8 who no one can oppose. This will be his second time working with director Jo Ui Seok after partnering up together for “Master.”

Kang You Seok will portray refugee Sa Wol, who is envious of the legendary 5-8 and determined to become a delivery knight himself. The actor has previously impressed with his roles in “Grotesque Mansion: The Original,” “Light On Me,” “Start-Up,” and “Once Again.”

Esom will be playing Seol Ah, a major of the military intelligence who looks after Sa Wol like family and is his savior. Esom previously starred in “Samjin Company English Class,” “Inseparable Bros,” “Microhabitat,” and “Taxi Driver.” She’ll be reuniting with Kim Woo Bin 11 years after co-starring in “White Christmas” together in 2011.
