Ji Soo Ropes Kim So Hyun Into Another Strange Plan In “River Where The Moon Rises”

KBS 2TV’s “River Where the Moon Rises” released new stills of Ji Soo and Kim So Hyun!

A reinterpretation of a classic Goguryeo folk tale, “River Where the Moon Rises” is a new drama that retells the famous love story of Princess Pyeonggang (played by Kim So Hyun) and On Dal (played by Ji Soo).

Spoilers

Although she was born as Princess Pyeonggang of Goguryeo, she has currently lost her memory and is living as the assassin Yeom Ga Jin. After Yeom Ga Jin was wounded and failed her mission to assassinate the King Pyeongwon of Goguryeo (Kim Bup Rae), she was saved by On Dal. Yeom Ga Jin temporarily stayed in On Dal’s cottage, and she didn’t kill him although required to by regulation, so viewers are curious to find out how their relationship will progress.

The newly released stills give a sneak peek at On Dal and Yeom Ga Jin selling medicinal herbs. In the pictures, On Dal has the medicinal herbs laid out on the street, and he wears a drum around his neck. As he observes where the people are, Yeom Ga Jin stares at the ground behind him with disinterest.

Close up, Yeom Ga Jin looks very dissatisfied. Although she feels On Dal is strange every time she sees him, Yeom Ga Jin inevitably takes part in the projects he leads, raising questions about what On Dal is making Yeom Ga Jin do this time around. The final image shows people crowding around the medicinal herbs, drawing anticipation for how their plan will succeed.

The production team shared, “Yeom Ga Jin, who is colder and more level-headed than anyone else as an assassin, continuously experiences something new as she becomes involved with On Dal. Please keep a look out with great interest and anticipation for the reason the two people are selling medicinal herbs on the streets and what result this will lead to.”

Lee Ji Hoon And Kim So Hyun Have An Intense 2nd Encounter In “River Where The Moon Rises”

KBS 2TV’s “River Where the Moon Rises” released more stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

A reinterpretation of a classic Goguryeo folk tale, “River Where the Moon Rises” is a new drama that retells the famous love story of Princess Pyeonggang (Kim So Hyun) and On Dal (Ji Soo).

Spoilers

Pyeonggang was born as a princess of Goguryeo, but after losing her memories as a child, she grew up as the assassin Yeom Ga Jin. In the previous episode, Yeom Ga Jin was ordered to murder King Pyeongwon (Kim Bup Rae), the king of Goguryeo and her real father, for her final mission as an assassin. Goguryeo’s top general Go Geon (Lee Ji Hoon) protected the king and chased after Yeom Ga Jin, but he eventually lost her.

In the new stills, Yeom Ga Jin and Go Geon meet once again. Yeom Ga Jin firmly holds up a dagger, her weapon of choice, unwilling to back down. Go Geon stoically blocks her attack as he unsheathes a fancy sword. Unlike their first meeting, Yeom Ga Jin does not cover her face this time, leading viewers to wonder if Go Geon will realize that she is actually Pyeonggang, whom he knew when she was young.

The drama’s producers commented, “Yeom Ga Jin will set off on her journey to discover her identity. Go Geon, who regards Pyeonggang as his everything, will be an important part of this process. Please look forward to the changes that will come about after they meet.”

Song Kang, Kim So Hyun, And Jung Ga Ram Tease An Unpredictable Romance In “Love Alarm” Season 2 Posters

Song Kang, Kim So Hyun, And Jung Ga Ram Tease An Unpredictable Romance In “Love Alarm” Season 2 Posters

“Love Alarm” is gearing up for its highly-anticipated second season!

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, “Love Alarm” is a romance drama set in an alternate reality where people find love through an application that alerts users when someone within a 10-meter radius has feelings for them. The first season told the story of Kim Jo Jo (Kim So Hyun), Hwang Sun Oh (Song Kang), and Lee Hye Yeong (Jung Ga Ram) as they faced a world in which people can only express their love through the app.

Season two begins four years later when the app has gained a new feature that provides a list of “people who you’ll like” and “people who’ll like you.” The new posters for season two depict the five main characters and their desires to know their true feelings for each other.

Kim Jo Jo, who is unable to convey her feelings because of a feature that blocks others’ alarms from ringing, has the text, “I confessed for the first time,” raising questions about who she has feelings for. Lee Hye Young, who has no responses from the app, has the quote, “I don’t care even if that thing doesn’t ring,” hinting at his growing feelings for Kim Jo Jo. Hwang Sun Oh’s poster features the text, “I’ll only trust your eyes from now on,” revealing his feelings for Kim Jo Jo, who is trying to distance herself from him. The three posters preview a tense love triangle in the upcoming season.

Park Gul Mi (Go Min Si), who is trying to enter the Badge Club, looks surprised to hear the love alarm go off in an unexpected situation. Her quote asks, “Right now? Why? At what point?” Lee Yook Jo (Kim Si Eun), who is dating Hwang Sun Oh but knows he still has feelings for Kim Jo Jo, has the quote, “I know that feeling. How do you win over that burning feeling…”

Furthermore, the posters feature different wavelength forms depending on the character. Kim Jo Jo alone has a unique shape, while Hwang Sun Oh’s and Park Gul Mi’s alarms fluctuate. With Lee Hye Young’s and Lee Yook Jo’s alarms ringing out, viewers are curious to see how the five characters’ relationships will play out. The new season will continue to portray the deepening love triangle and the diverse shapes that love comes in, highlighting how the world has changed through the new alarm system.

“Love Alarm” season 2 will premiere on March 12 via Netflix.
