Has anyone ever gone to Global Auditions earlier than their slotted time and been able to complete their audition then instead of later?

My audition in LA is at 6pm and apart from being worried about the mood of the judges by then, I'll be arriving in LA at around 10am so I wouldn't have anything to do before my appointed time but hang around stressing out

Do you guys think I should go ahead and try and 'sign myself in' or whatever as soon as I can get there, or would the hectic atmosphere make it a bad idea for me to bother the organizers?
