Baek Ah Yeon is a South Korean solo singer who debuted in JYP Entertainment. She is known as the third finalist of South Korea's talent show, K-pop Star Season 1.

Biography

Ah Yeon was born on March 11, 1993. She was one of the popular talent show contestants on K-pop Star which featured judges from the big three entertainment agencies (SM, YG, JYP). She is currently studying at the Department of Practical Music at Howon University. At an early age prior to the competition, she underwent cancer treatment which made JYP refer to her as a person with a "Steel Heart". This made her even more popular with the viewers aside from her fresh, clear and pure singing voice.

Baek A Yeon Sings for ‘When a Man Loves’

With bright-eared fans already in the know, Baek A Yeon participated in the OST for SBS’ When a Man Loves.



JYP Entertainment announced Baek A Yeon’s participation on April 10, saying that she sang Love 101 in part 1 of the drama’s soundtrack. It will be Song Seung Hun and Shin Se Kyung’s love theme song. 

Songwriter, Oh Jun Sung, who also created OSTs for Boys Over Flowers, Princess Prosecutor, City Hunter and more, produced Love 101. 

The song will be released on April 10.
