just like we have different standars for actors , seems like we have differents opinions about other concepts  .Seems like everything I wrote here was disected in the worst way possible ...

Dear all,

please do not propose anymore female leads into this thread as it is not necessary. This thread is supposed to be for the drama not to talk about the actors/actresses. If you would like to talk about the actors/actresses, please go to to their threads at Actors/Actresses Forum. This means the end of all discussions to all actresses you could possibly match Joo Won with. Hope you understand. I feel guilty for not saying this sooner as I know the forum well due to reminders from mods at BM's thread a while back. <3

News regarding this drama's female lead confirmation is most needed at the moment.

Just probably a slip of words just like some of you did in regards to CKH because you were just expressing how you felt at that moment without reflecting. Maybe further communications will help as we sometimes express one thing, but some others may think of it differently. I hope you all make-up privately. <333

Most of us here like Joo Won and we all like him with different co-stars, so please "make love and not war." I'm not sure if CKH is 100% confirmed, but it seemed like it from the news that she will sign the contract. Maybe we all should just wait until it is confirmed.

I do not know how things become so wrong. This is the first time I am on a thread before the show starts. Well, simply because I started on Soompi only 4 months ago and found myself on Bridal Mask thread when the show had already started airing
@sunshine4ever, thank you for starting this thread, please do not blame yourself in any way. I just think the Must Be Crazy station had better OFFICIALLY confirm something real soon. If it is CKH, then so be it. I am sure anti-CKH fans want a quick death rather than a lingering one. In almost all forums I have read, there are people bailing out of this drama before it even starts. I feel terrible for both Joo Won and CKH. Joo Won because I love him. For CKH, it must be terrible to see all these negative things and insults coming out so I hope for her own sake, she withdraws from the show. She will have a tough job if she stays because I think no matter how she tries, she will be criticised. And there will be more insults to come. If for whatever reason she must stay on the show, then I rather that Joo Won gives it up and let a more mature actor take the role. I had been anticipating him to play this role but the whole situation is becoming ridiculous and cannot be good for either CKH or Joo Won. 
I think the chances of it happening is almost zilch so we will have to accept the fact that Joo Won and CKH will be in this together. That being the case, I hope this thread will not become "Battle of Joo Won Lovers vs CKH Lovers" . I am not sure if I have the sanity to stay on. But lest I let out some vitriol comment, I always try to pause and sit on it first. Sleep over it if possible. And finally when I have nothing good to say, I shut my trap up. When this news got out, I admit I lost control of myself and broke my rules. So, I have not been here as much as I'd like to. Going back to my silent lurker mode.

@mrdimples, I hope the news got out because they wanted to test the water on how the audience react? Well, I would prefer a younger female lead if all possible, but it's really not my will to begin with. I just hope we all can have some charity towards the main female lead regardless of who she is. Please update us if possible. <333 Thanks.

I have to agree with @sunshine4ever tat when one says something in the spur of the moment, words that are not so appropriate might just slip out.  Hence, like wat I hav said in my earlier post which I think I need to repeat it again. So bear with this "old lady from the dino era who is risking getting indigestion from typing this post during her lunch break" for a moment.  If you can't, you can just ignore this post.

All of us gathered here and some of us over at JW's thread becoz we have a common interest - JOO WON.  We all come from different backgrounds, i.e. cultures & religious beliefs, educational levels, life experiences, age groups and etc...   Not all of us will share the same viewpoints or understanding due to the factors that I have just mentioned.  That is why there is a need to acknowledge this and to maintain a certain level of tolerance for such differences in opinions.  Words spoken aloud at the spur of the moment usually trigger reactions from the the person who hears it.  How the person will react depends on the individual.  @septmoon16 you might want to share with @aisling what I shared with you 2 days ago in our pm.

Letz not continue with this unproductive episode of talking back at each other... Honestly, I am getting a bit annoyed and upset with all these "fighting". Haven't you gals read the blog which someone have posted the link here a few days ago... The owner of that blog is laughing at fans like us who are squabbling over whether CKH should or should not be accepting or casted for the role.  She/he is not even a fan of cutie and had admitted that his/her dislike of him.  So why are we fighting with one another over such a trivial matter when we should be united as fans of JW??

Some of you may ask why do I bother to intervene? it is not just bcoz I do not like conflicts, I also care for you gals like my friends and dongsaengs... so please do make up and be friends with each other.  Alright??  I've got to sign off now... need to get back to work before I get into trouble with my QBs.

You know how much I love cutie and I'm trying hard as his fan. I respect you girls, but I have to disagree with you in this one.

I'm certainly not the one who's still coping with this casting news. Some people just need more time to accept the unpleasant truth. You know I became a silent lurker exactly because I don't want to create more tension in an already tensed thread. But I got really offended by her words. I'm sorry, but what she wrote wasn't "voicing her opinion"... It sounded like a personal attack toward those who don't admire her favorite actress.

If having a different opinion is being uncivilized now, then poor Voltaire just wasted his whole life fighting for nothing.

What happened to "I disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"? Why is a discussion forum being turned into a censored forum?

We don't say it aloud, but you all know by "moderating" this thread you just shutting up more and more people. We can't discuss anything unless it's rainbows and unicorns.

As mrdimples said she had nothing positive to say, so she would shut up. Do you realize that most of people will take after her lead? So how many people will be active in this thread in the end? How many people actually want to say their opinions, but they can't because it would be considered as bashing. I agree we shouldn't use offensive words and respect the actress, but this thread kind of turned into a place where you can't even say you don't like her even when you don't use offensive words.

I would accept it more easily if she was cast first and then cutie jumped in. But in this case it MAKES people wonder why she chose this project.

Ok, this is probably my last post in this thread until drama starts airing. I won't make your job harder from now on. It's probably because I majored in political science where they encouraged us not to be afraid to think differently and not to be afraid to say your opinion aloud. But I guess this isn't a political battlefield, so jyst enjoy your spazzing. I'll join you guys when I'm ready :-)

Dear everyone who read my messages and also aisling's message, please try to read this as I want to clarify things out. Please know that this message is for clarifying only. It does not want to create more tensions. (I did edit some portions to clarify further and I put parts I edited in colors).

@aisling, first and foremost, I would like to thank you for speaking up and/or voicing up your opinions. Unfortunately, I was just trying to speak up another perspective for the girl who because I felt like since we are fella Joo Won fans, we can all make-up if we somehow "slipped." I do that  from time to time and I came back and apologized because I thought about the words I used. We're humans, so we make mistakes. Now I am not saying you make a mistake or anything. I meant to say that we do make errors sometimes with our words without "reflecting." When you're angry and/or mad it shows in your words. What we say here affect everyone who posts and/or lurks in this thread. They may not say anything, but they definitely feel something. I then now leave it up to both of you if you would like to make-up or not. I hope you understand that I was not trying to censoring you from talking, but rather I was trying to remind you about the rules of this forum.

This forum isn't just a blog where you can just say whatever you want because all of us are a community of people. We can break or mend a person's heart with our words. We have that ability and so we should be watchful of our words.  We travel/journey together in this thread and that was why I found it is important to speak up some opinions (just an analysis) for the girl who so you guys could be friends again, but if it is not possible then I am sorry.

Also, I just want to clarify with you that for the past 2 messages in color and in big fonts that I wrote and addressed to everyone, I hope you understand that I am not trying to censor anyone from talking. I am speaking the truth about the rules and regulations of this thread. The truth is that we're not supposed to talk about actors in this thread. The purpose of this thread is for the drama: mainly characters and plots. I am totally guilty for knowing this forum's rules, yet did not speak up at all while everyone was spazzing away about how they liked so and so to match with Joo Won. If you saw back, you did not even see I wrote much about my perspective on any actress since I know the rules. I just thought I'd let it go, but it got kind of out of hand so I had to step in. It is not a comfortable position because I could sense tensions from both sides. Now imagine those tensions on me as I tried to ask you let go of your tensions. I also don't like to control people from being who they are, but unfortunately the fact is that we had broken some of the rules already. If I remain silent, this thread will most likely be a place where people state more aggressive opinions about CKH and/or their dislikeness of her which is not really something that should be in this thread because we're not supposed to talk about actors/actresses in this forum (dramas & movies) and/or this thread. Or it's a place where people will defend her which again relates to the actress and has nothing to do with the drama itself. And if we do, we should go to her thread. If we go to her thread, I don't think we would write negative comments and/or complain about her.

I read a message that Eja posted earlier in this thread and I now feel regretful (yes, it might hurt some of my JW fans-friends because I say this) because I should have waited for 2 confirmed leads to start a thread. However, since I just returned to Soompi after a very long time gone away,  I did not know this. Therefore I can't do anything about this right now. I just hope we can contribute positive outlooks and/or post news if possible.

It is 100% fine if this thread remains silent until the drama actually starts. If you want to know what I mean, please check Faith's early pages. It had nothing, but just news. And also That Winter, The Wind Blows since I started this thread the same day as I started Battle of the Secret Lovers' thread. That thread has approximately 7 pages long and mostly had just news. There really aren't supposed to be any discussions about actors/actresses because the thread started out with 2 confirmed cast.

I am so sorry if this thread had gotten out of hands. Please try to understand that I wouldn't want to post those messages in red or blue to get everyone's attention, but I just felt like if I don't say something this thread will continue to be a discussion about what actress they prefer to be with Joo Won. It has to be brought to light as all of us need to know that we're not supposed to write about actresses/actors.

Please don't feel bad if our thread is silent. This thread will start to move as the drama begins just like Faith. I remember I used to browse Faith when it was about 10 pages long. Now it has 700+  pages long.

Please still continue to contribute news for this thread. I am so sorry if what I wrote bothered you in some ways.

OMG I cant believe this!! Too absurd for words, I am really sorry, but I like both Joowon and Choi Kanghee, but the pairing...OMG do I have to imagine him romancing his aunt or so? I am not against age gaps, but this one seems just too much as in appearance. She looks like his mother.

Is it already confirmed?

Sighh...sometimes life is really hard.
