Ok I doing this as a request over at Idols-Unlimited, so I thought I could share it.

My hubby and I have seen all 104 episodes of IYSS and would encourage you to watch all of this great drama about Korea's great hero. We found it never to be the least bit boring at any point. It's different from many other sageuk dramas in that there are more historical documents left behind to base it on than most. It's quite accurate for the most part and once you are into it you will truly stand in awe of this man. It seems like he was chosen by Heaven to save Korea at that point in history and had to endure some unbelievable ordeals just to serve that purpose. Also, Kim Myung Min IMO gives the performance of his lifetime in this drama because of it's length and the scope his acting skills have to cover. It's well worth watching in any case, but if you love KMM, you must see IYSS!!!

I remember so well that you highly recommended IYSS a few months ago :)

I was a bit hesistant though coz it's too long...

and I was not much into KMM then ;)

Anyway, hope to see you around esp when we start discussing this drama :D

and oh btw i used to envy KMM hands he has a beautiful hands like he was girl lol.

So clean and smooth ive noticed this in BV when he was holding a baton and even when i watching IYSS i cant get enough of his hands haha so crazy of me

... i have 98 eps to go.

aahhh this is so frustrating... 104 eps???

its so addicting! i will be very sad if id stop. im at ep 14 now (but im afraid i can only dload till ep.25 now :tears: ) waaahhh im going crazy...

oh thanks for the cast sheet kdramafanusa....

4 pages is not enough for this historical drama.. its so good that i dont want to miss a thing...

this is better than Jumong (i mean i enjoy watching dramas even it has a long story like jumong that had a 81 eps. i watch it episode by episode without fast forwarding) dont get me wrong for jumong fans.. i love jumong its my favorite but this would be the on TOP of the list of my favorite Historical Drama...

yeah i know haha.. sorry, i know Ive said i was going to stop downloading at ep. 12 but i just cant help myself. Whenever i start watching a drama that really gets my attention i just cant stop. and when i stop i cant sleep (it was really crazy of me but that's the truth). :)

thanks for the links, oh you stopped at ep 5??? man i will tell you honestly i first DL the ep 104 and then 1-4 and i said to myself that i would stop watching this because this is a very long drama i would be very disappointed if i dont finish this if this is a good drama...

but someone with a kind heart told me that she can provide a copy so i was very happy...

I think its worth the wait...

I've waited for one year for someone to post in this thread and finally its moving. I'm so so delighted!!!

After 7 years of watching kdramas, IYSS remains the only drama that's the MOST INSPIRING for me. My beloved Jangun is sooooooo

A.W.E.S.O.M.E. KMM's portrayal of Janggun YSS was nothing short of A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!.

yes, i have lots of favourite dramas but most of them are entertaining. None has made me feel this patriotic before. Damn! I wished i was there too and fighting along with my jangun!!!

Thanks pianolady for all those links. You're simply the best. Yes, i'll be waiting for you all to start watching then i'll join you. I guess the real discussion will only start from 25 eps onwards when Jangun passed his military exam and was posted for his first assignment. Can't wait to hear from all of you.

Am I the only one who have problem DL this drama in MU?

"DL limit had exceeded" always appeared? :crazy:
