Just saw the news and like many shippers, it's really sad to see this news come true. They met beautifully in a drama filming and had such a romantic public confession but i guess their love wasn't strong enough to go through the 2 years military separation between them. After all when the time JHW was enlisted also happened to be the time where their relationship just started to blossom. Separation during honeymoon period of a relationship doesn't seem like a good thing to do. Anyway, they are both grown up and now that JHW has completed his military duties, who knows there might still be hope between their relationship. I still believe in them both since JHW's confession made to YIN wasn't any simple one. Public confession plus the heartfelt words that he said to YIN before they got together.

I was their shipper too 2 years ago....when we are so happy that 2 yrs has passed to be able to see jhw, we heard such a sad news.

We understand distance is really a killer. Esp when the blossom time. Both 2 of them are adults and I'm sure they know what they are heading now.

But In-hyun couple...or rather men-boong couple will alwayz be a good memories in me.

Hope they will find their Mr & Ms Right soon.

I did not know that IU turned down the role in his new show- very interesting. Who knows maybe now that they are both free they might meet up again and rekindle the relationship. Lots of couples break up and get back together. I do wonder if they would ever work together again on a show or in a movie?

I'm devastated. I still remember how we all gathered here once we saw their magic. And the joy we felt when he confessed at the last episode screening.

It's sad that he's getting negative comments for having confessed before he enlisted. Leave him alone!!! I'm sure she broke it off.

As a person who started this thread.... I don't even have words to describe my feels  :'( Well... at least they will always be the couple who went bravely public... who knows... if they're fated to be together maybe one day they will return to each other...

So sad that they they broke up. I think what was hard was because they were such a new couple they didn't get to build that solid relationship.
 I just hope that maybe they'll do a drama together again cause acting wise they have awesome chemistary.

I heard from DC that they actually broke up in Dec, when the rumours started. But they didn't reveal it for fear on backlash that YIN broke up with him whilst he was still in the army. 
He's the one on the losing end because they still broke up despite his grand public gesture. Poor JHW !! I'm sure he will get over it cos it's been 5 months? Imagine breaking up with him while he was serving his country. That's low....
