People would have their own opinion who the good or bad guys are. It's ok for you to express yours, but whatever anyone may say, I still stand firm on my opinion.

Exactly! I never posted that you cannot express your opinion or have to agree with mine. Speaking for myself and not for the others who share my opinion. I am just commenting that I don't agree with you on who are the good and bad guys here. I never even tried to coerce you to agree with my opinion unlike some people in other threads which we both post to so you know what I mean, who end with their opinion is "final" and there should be no more discussion on the matter :lol: Got it?

This is first-rate drama. If they show it again down the road, I'll watch it all over again.

I'm a huge fan of Choi Soo Jong and here are some pics of him. Hope u'll join it.

I love his character in historical drama than modern one, he possesses special eyes that can show clearly how paintful an sorrow he had to suffer. That eyes had broken my heart when it burst into tear. Really impressed by his acting. I love Sea God and also Dae Jo Young

After watching the final ep of EOTS, I feel deeply sad, the ending was so tragic that made me burst into tears when Jang Bogo was stabbed with a dagger by YM. Although I know everyone has to die but that was not the way a hero end his life. If he had to die, he had better die in a battle field facing his enemies like a General not being killed by a blasted bastard like YM. :angry:

Somebody said that JB was stubborn but that's extemely wrong. If he hadn't been killed, he would have won the war with his faithful soldiers and civils. He's not a kind of person that give up so easily, with his powerful and strong-minded will, there is no doubt he could defeat Kim Chang. He can't break his rule, he can't compromise with evils no matter what happens, even if he would die, that's the difference between good and bad guys.

He also knew his enemy Kim Chang

JB:" Even if I take a step back,Kim Yang won't." KC won't let Chunghae residents live peacefully. YM was so naive to believe what KC said, what a pity. Ym was a plan of KC.That's why Jung-hwa cant love YM, who killed many innocent people for his own desire. Finally, YM still alone and gets what he deserve.

Although JB was dead but he's still in my heart with respect and admire forever. Finally, thanks Choi Soo Jong for his significant acting, his eyes impressed me alot, the eyes full of sorrow and pain.

I understand that it's frustrating for the audience when someone loves another person very dearly and isn't loved in return, but Jung-Hwa always made it very clear that Yeom-Moon had no chance whatsoever to win her heart, so I think it's odd to blame her, that her last thoughts in this drama go to the man she herself loved. I think it's save to say that her tears for Yeom-Moon meant something, because well, he saved her life and that of the child, and they had known each other for a very long time.

I'm glad they did this simple ending and it was beautifully done.

I came to the thread to see if there's any updates on my fav. actor and came across this post.

Well, firstly, let me say that if you had read my other posts, then you would know that we (I include the others who expressed the same opinion) do not "blame" her. Our peeve with her character and the ending is clearly expressed several times so I will not go into it again. Secondly, its great that you like the ending. Good on you. You are entitled to your opinion. Just as we are entitled to our opinion that the ending sucks.

That is an old thread but I'm new to the forum, so please indulge me.

I loved this drama, I was not crazy about the ending, but I came to terms with it, eventually.


What I still can't understand is the thing that everyone asked Jung Hwa all the time: why did she push poor Jang Bo Go away?

If anyone has a reasonable answer, please share it.
