they approached this guy (Mr X) who gave them Yeong Jae's resume(?)

my guess is she was trying to 'hire' a guy to go dinner with her cuz

she promised her ex-boyfriend Chan Ha (who gave her the invitation) that she would come with her boyfriend.

sounded like she paid Mr X for helping her to locate a guy and

Mr X may have agreed to help the guys if they agreed to go out with her

Junior agreed to meet Young Jae but last minute i think something happened to his father(?)

then Joong Suh had no choice but to take over his place to meet Young Jae at the park

dunno if i got any of this right cuz i guessed all this from some keywords that i picked up on my own!

the lighting biz is quite fun to do huh? those beautiful shining lamps do give such a warm romantic feeling dun they? reminds me of the other drama (one of my fav) The Gift (Sung Yun Ah & Park Chung Jul)!

hmmm...unfortunatley i haven't payed too much attention to the business scenes. from my understanding, Joong Suh worked for Chan Ha's company, but left to start his own start up company. I'm not sure if they are sister companies or rival companies....Does anyone know what the relationship is btw the 2 companies?

Eun Jae was the one he wanted from the beginning and he can't afford to keep both so Young Jae was negotiating with him on her salary. She offers to work for free for 1 year. Joong Suh still doesn't agree to hire her and she agrees to 3 years!! Young Jae tells him she's not working for pay but out of loyalty to her work and company.

How Young Jae got hired at the new company - The helper guy to Joong Suh said that he would join Joong Suh's company on one condition. That he could hire a pretty female employee. He then interviewed Joo Young Jae. But it turns out, Joong Suh had told him to interview another woman, a woman named Joo Young Joo. But the helper guy got it wrong and interviewed Young Jae instead. That is why Young Jae was so upset when she showed up the first day because it was through no fault of her own that she took this new job and quit her old job.

As far as the escort service thing, when Young Jae ran into her ex Chan Ha, she lied and told him that she had a boyfriend. When he invited her to that fancy investor's party, she needed to find a date so she went to an internet escort service called "Fake Date" and paid $400 for a date. Joong Suh's helper was supposed to be her escort for the night, but something happened to his uncle and he had to take off and asked Joong Suh to cover for him which is why Joong Suh met Young Jae at the park.

aigoo some much seems to happen in episode 4 i'm abit lost, can someone pl help me understand?

1. what did Chan Ha & Joong Suh talk about at the bar? seemed like Chan Ho initiated it?

2. what did the 2 guys say to each other at the hotel reception towards the end?

they had some conversations that seems so critical in the direction how the story gonna develop!

3. what did Young Jae say to prompt Chan Ha's action to her jus before Joong Suh saw them in the garden (after the meteor)?

also that Joo Young Joo woman is sabotaging their company City Lights right?

is she linked to Chan Ha somehow?

while Chan Ha seems so genuine in his love for Young Jae, at the same time he's like to evil in getting rid of City Lights!

our dear Young Jae is so lively right? climbing mountains, spying on sauna/spa...

did she lose her bank book too?

i suspect chan ha may have revealed his past with young jae to joong suh outside the hotel reception but i dunno for sure.

think young jae din get job as lighting designer in City Lights but she may have offered to be the pantry lady or something like that - n charge of cleaning the office, providing meals etc.

anyone out there who knows korean can help us along?
