Shenny, I love the scenes where Rookie is smitten by Mi Joo too. They're so cute! I just finished watching Ep.6 yesterday and was laughing so hard at the scene when Rookie was in the dental office...and as he was rinsing his mouth, he was so amazed watching Mi Joo tie her hair that he swallowed it! haha.

You know what...I'm actually also feeling the same way at this point. I was skimming through episode 7-8...and the way he lies to Eun-Young about the whole JOON situation is ridiculous. If Jung Suk wants to get close with Joon...than he should do it TRUTHFULLY...he shouldn't bond with Joon happily by himself...than lie about it to Eun-Young making Joon look like a fool/bad boy. I was so mad while watching the scene...where Eun-Young was incredibly mad about the phone call that Jung Suk recieved from Joon...and she was asking who Joon was...and Jung Suk explained who Joon was. He told the truth that it WAS Joon that called...but he told Eun-Young that he's helping Joon from staying out of trouble...saying how he's going through puberty (or maybe he didn't say that, lol)...but something along the lines of how Joon is flipping out and not listening to anyone and doing bad things...and when EunYoung asks Jung Suk about the couple cell phones that he bought...Jung Suk tells her that he bought them because Joon broke the cell phone window/glass store (he almost did or did) because he wanted a cell phone or something...so Jung Suk just had to buy it for him before he did something bad again.

ARGH!!! Honestly...what kind of lie is that! Making the perfect JOON, who's cute, nice and smart look like a bully.

Jung Suk even lost so much more respect from me after this scene....not that I had a lot of respect for Jung Suk in the first place...

I had no idea he said all those terrible things about Joon.. now Eun Young will think that Joon is a bad kid.. omg.. how can a father do that to his own son.. as if abandoning is not bad enough.. now he's spreading lies & rumors about Joon? I was starting to soften up to JS from watching all those bonding time with Joon.. but now.. JS is back into the "dog house".. I'm official boycotting him.. Joon doesn't need JS.. he has ROOKIE!!!!!

totally! He's so argh! I'll most likely translate that particular scene for you and everyone else...just in case someone in here still can't believe what Jung Suk said about Joon. I can understand how you would think Jung Suk said those things to EunYoung...and wouldn't it have been nice if he DID saying stuff about how he was bonding with Joon...but NO! Here's the translation of that scene where EY and JS were arguing at night. Okay...I noticed that i got some facts wrong when I was explaining it above...but still...the fact that JS LIED is still pissing me off. I made it sound as if JS commited a bad sin or something...well I guess you can say he did...since he lied.

JS: I really don’t know!

EY: Give me the password.

JS: How many times do I have to tell you, I never put a lock on it? So I wouldn’t know the password. EunYoung, maybe you pressed something wrong. Give me the cell phone. Argh, why are you keep hitting me?

EY: Let’s just say you don’t know the password. Then who the heck is Joonie?

JS: I said I don’t know!!!

EY: So you’re going to continue backing out for this? You know that I’m smart right? I’m sorry, but I memorized all the phone numbers in here. Just wait till I catch who ever it is.

JS: Honey, I’ll tell you. But…you have to keep everything that I tell you a secret. Sit down. Joonie is Joon. Dr.Song’s son, Joon.

EY: Are you joking with me? Say something that’s reasonable!

JS: Check out for yourself…but listen to everything I have to say first before you do it. To tell you the truth, Joon is thinking about bad things these days. He said that he’s going nuts.

EY: What?

JS: It’s obvious at that age. Running away from home and hanging out with bad friends. Wouldn’t it be something like that? So I tried to talk with him and now he keeps calling me.

EY: Wait a second. Why would he talk about that stuff with you?

JS: I don’t know. There’s no reason for him just maundering.

EY: Than, what’s the deal with the couple cell phones?

JS: what?

EY: Someone saw you buying those cell phones.

JS: That…that’s a long story to explain.

EY: Why? Did you give that to Joon too?

JS: There is no way to hide things from you. So that is…I was coming out from the hospital and Joon was standing against the cell phone store window…his mouth wide open. And…I saw his eyes and it seemed like if I didn’t get him one, he was going to steal it. So what could I do? If I didn’t buy it, you think he would’ve gone? When he’s already going nuts? This is probably for the better. He’s so stubborn that he won’t even listen to my words. Since you are good at talking, why don’t you try to help him? Here.

EY: Oh forget it. Why should I have to mind someone else’s business?

JS: That is why I told you I didn’t like Dr. Song in the first place. You think she would be able to do her own work when she can’t even take care of her own kid? Can’t you just tell her to go back to America?

EY: You think that’s possible?!?! I’m so dizzy. Oh, my head.

JS: Lay down. I’ll get you some water.

omg.. how dare JS spread lies that MJ is a bad mother who couldn't take care of Joon properly.. i'm subtracting all his "sympathy" points now.. booooo!!!!.. i mean.. EY is pretty smart and at that point.. SJ needs to get out of that situation.. but JS is pretty stupid to say bad things about Joon.. knowing that EY will find out Joon is related to JS sooner or later.. why would you want to paint a bad picture of your kid infront of your new wife?
