Although I did not want JK to benefit from Joon presence I was still happy to see the father and son enjoying each other company. It made me smile (Note it also made me smile when Joon cooked for Rookie )

Couldn't watch episode 5 until now...I was having some problems with the download yesterday.

I'm starting to get a little annoyed at the way Ji-Hwan treated Sang Mi ... it seems he has no respect for her.

Usually I'm against divorced...It's always good to try to solve the problems first...but in Sang Mi's case...I think it's better if they let go of each other so they both can have a happier life.

Tae Joon is getting less cool also...kept bugging Eun Young when she already moved on for so long. Can't understand him. I guess there are some people like him in real life...can't let go of their past loves. But he's a good looking man...with a great job...It's surprising that he didn't move on sooner since I'm sure many women would love to be with him. Right now his image is not very good...the man with bad intentions...I'm totally not rooting for him any more...Before I was like...he's a good candidate also...but now he's totally out...hehe....I'm sure he'll change after falling for Mi-Joo for real...but I already crossed him out because he's capable of doing bad things...hehe...Rookie is still the best...hehe....

Jung Suk is acting like a little jealous kid...maybe he still has feelings for Mi-Joo??? (Lesson from Alone In Love) hehe... Some might say...it's human nature to react that way...I still need to look into this matter more carefully....hopefully I can understand these situations better...hehe...

I just skimmed through episode 5 just now...and i love seeing JOON in it, lol.

The preview that we saw for episode 5 was a bit misleading! I thought Jung Suk called Mi-Joo to say: 'Stop, I have something to tell you'...but after watching episode 5...it was actually Eun-Young that he called, lol. But it's alright...coz the Rookie and Mi-Joo parts made up for it...at least those were right! Rookie is just so cute...episode 6 looks good...i wonder what happened between Mi-Joo and Rookie! The scene where he carried Mi-Joo in the pouring rain...in the preview....hmmm~~

1st time post for this drama...i didn't know this drama existed until this week, hehe...i luv lee kiwoo, so when i saw his name on the cast list, i had to take a peek in here and he looks so good here...i d/led a few episodes, but unfortunately i have no idea what they are talking about, but still cute to watch. the lead actress is so cute and funny. the son is so cute as well. i actually thought he was younger than an '87 kid.

Epi 6.. when rookie accidentally flung MJ's Hp into the toilet bowl... she was boiling mad.. Rookie run to Joon for help and fortunately Joon was like in the middle trying to stop his mum hitting Rookie... LOL .. like a family

Rookie like a Superman he carried MJ effortless when her heel was stuck at the pathway.

omg.. episode 6 is .. awwww... Jun ( or is it Joon) is so so handsome & cute.. he brightens up the screen.. i love his scenes with Rookie.. and Rookie is starting to have some feelings for Mi Joo.. especially when she was looking at his teeth.. there's the "light".. so hilarious.. haha... something for you guys while waiting for Luv's caps.. will be back to discuss this "juicy" episode soon.

Episode 5 Summary: (might be missing some details...trying ot recall from what i watched)

Rookie comes back from MiJoo's house. Darim is waiting for him and asks him where he's been and when she asks about MJ, tells him how she's divorced and how he should be careful b/c reporters might find out and how MJ is shameless for meeting w/Rookie. He tells her not to say it like that and what's wrong w/her being divorced. She's surprised and asks if he's taking her side and he says that yes, he's taking MJ's side b/c if she says it like that (talking down about MJ) then he can't take her side. Eventually, Rookie tells Darim that he needs time to think about their relationship. Rookie's in pain from his tooth.

With the Sangmi couple, his co-worker calls and comes over to the house b/c they need to work on a case. (You get a sense that the coworker is friends w/the husband from before b/c when Darim comes home, the husband is like, say hi to Youngsun unni). The female coworker basically treats Sangmi like hired help, asking her to make food (sandwiches) for them to eat. Sangmi gets yelled at by her husband, so Sangmi goes into the bathroom to drink and grumbles to herself when Darim walks into the bathroom. Darim asks her if she's not angry when her husband is acting that way outside and Sangmi tries to play it off (even though she's angry), making excuses for him.

Jungsuk and Eunyoung are on their way to work and JS finds out that Rookie and MJ aren't dating and that Rookie is simply the owner of the house and he's in a good mood b/c of that news.

At work, JS receives more flowers. MJ goes to tell EY about JS's extra money but MJ is on her way out and EY kinda has second thoughts about telling her about it. EY actually goes to get into that other guy's car (i forgot his name, the sunbae, the elder). Basically, he says that he's disappointed w/EY, asking that if he was introduced to MJ, then did she expect him to resolve all his feelings for her (EY). This day is a special day actually for them b/c it's been three years since they've met each other (that they've starting seeing each other). She responds that they're finished and that she needs to go pick up her daughter. He wants her to return to him but she tells him that they're finished, he was just like a "passing wind" and that she just wants to preserve their sunbae-hoobae (elder/younger) relationship. [To be completely honest, he's nice to look at, but he has like a lisp and I can't understand what he's saying sometimes..... :tongue2: ]

The sunbae person then goes to see MJ and asks her to go see night-fishing b/c he wants to clear his head. SHe expresses hesitation but eventually decides to go, which JS witnesses and then decides to follow them, telling EY that he's going to his high school classmate's father's funeral and that he won't be able to get home.

The sunbae and MJ are talking and he is about to tell her that he has somebody that he likes (EY) when JS interrupts. EY goes to buy ramen, which is prety far away so JS goes w/her (drives her). EY is talking ont he phone w/Rookie who goes to see her at her house and then calls her b/c she's not there b/c he's in so much pain and everything is closed when JS decides to ditch her by going back to the fishing place. The sunbae is actually packing to go back to Seoul b/c a patient needs to see him and JS offers to drive MJ home but ditches her there and leaves her at the fishing place. MJ gets a ride back w/one of the other fisherman in the morning. Her resolve to get revenge on JS is strengenthened by him ditching her.

He discovers his notebooks are missing and MJ calls him to let him know that she's meeting EY and telling her everything. JS goes to meet EY, trying to stop her from meeting MJ so that he can explain everything. MJ packs her stuff to leave and sees Rookie outside. He was worrieda bout her b/c their phone call got cut off the night before. JS runs into his son on the street as he was running to meet EY.

EY comes and EY and MJ are planning to go talk when Rookie tells MJ that she doesn't need to leave if it's b/c of him and that he has a house. MJ sees Joon and they have a happy reunion and EY is surprised by the age of her son. [i really liked this moment....it was so sweet and the music was just so on cue! ] Everybody's pretty surprised by MJ's son, EY and Rookie included. They go inside to talk, MJ cutting Joon off when he's about to introudce himself so that he can't say his last name.

Joon explains his situation to EY (he's 15 and how he's going to college early b/c he got a perfect score on his SATs and how he has high school credit). She's really impressed by him and keeps on saying how he looks very familiar. EY comes outisde and sees JS outside, telling him that MJ has a son. JS gets worried when EY says that he looks familiar and there's a flashback of the midwife telling MJ and JS how the son looks like JS (but in reality, she tells MJ that he looks more like the mother than the father, she's just saying it in front of her).

MJ goes into the hospital to see her patients (Joon and her have a cute scene together). She sees Rookie b/c of his tooth. He acts like a baby, really concerneda bout it but it's basically not that big of a deal. The sunbae comes to see MJ and asking EY, MJ, and the husband to go to this thing w/him (he got tickets from a patient) b/c it's his birthday the next day. EY says that she and her husband can't go b/c of a prior commitment and tells MJ to go to dinner w/him instead. Rookie sees the sunbae and MJ together and he asks about her leaving the house but MJ is like, "why are you saying two different things? You told me not to leave and now you're asking when I'm leaving???"

Darim prepares food for Rookie but uses the food that Sangmi prepared and she's kinda upset by it. Sangmi gets excited about food that JungJoonha (the actor) sent her but Darim tells her to send it back b/c she's not getting married to him b/c she doesn't want to care for his family. After Darim leaves, Sangmi says that she should get married to that guy b/c she needs to experience that type of pain and worry. A phoen call comes from the mother-in-law saying that she's coming up for a visit.

Darim goes to see Rookie w/the food and she totally plays the innocent girl feeling bad for her actions. She tells him that she's broken up w/the guy that she saw on the arranged marriage date. He feels bad so he tells her that they should get tea together and she asks him to take her far away.

MJ goes to see EY asking why EY offered to buy lunch and EY said that it's b/c she wanted to buy lunch for Joon and also introduce Joon to JS. JS has a dream sequence where MJ revelas that he's the father and EY is shocked by the news and Joon can't accept JS as his father b/c of the way he abandoned their family. JS gets scared and so he decides he can't go into the lunch date. He crashes into Joon and runs out but drops his key so Joon chases after JS. JS doesn't know why he's running after him and finally escapes by jumping on the bus. joon returns to the lunch place and MJ finds out it was JS that Joon was chasing after b/c of the keychain. MJ calls JS and asks why he's not coming and JS says that he's at Hanah's kindergarden place and that he forgot. He tells her that she's all he needs. [On a seaprate note, she's too cute, it kinda grosses me out.]

JS returns to the office and the secretaries tell him to go to EY's office to meet JS's son and he gets angry at them and he tells them that he can't go. The secretaries and EY are trying to figure out who he looks like, saying eventually he looks like Keanu Reeves. The secretary comes to tell EY and MJ that JS isn't coming nad MJ gets a little upset.

Darim and Rookie go to the beach and Darim fooling around, throws the casino coin into the ocean. End!

Finally get to watch episode 6...

Wow...Rookie is so tall...he kept having to bend down to be at Darim's level...he'll have a stiff neck soon in addition to having toothache...hehe...

Hehe...It's different when we watch Kdramas as opposed to Western dramas...only in here...Mi-Joo can feel free to kick her ex-husband as she sees fit...hehe... It woudn't happen in a Western drama because he would be calling the police for abuse...hehe...It's sad but true...I had a friend from college...she told me...her ex-husband called the police on her when she slapped him for some insults...hehe...just some random thoughts that cross my mind as I watched that scene
