yes that's true joo soo won PD wouldnt direct TTILY7000D  TT. a month before the drama airing we got this kind of news. sigh i wonder what happened.

I've read that it's because SBS and the PD have different interpretation. 

I wonder of how will it works and the result due to this circumstances... and who will be next PD to get it done....

It's like of what we've experienced with EK before that many are skeptic due to the PD's previous work and the controversy of the distortion in history... I hope ITWY will pull the race decently like what happened ni EK... bonus that HJW is in it, let's just enjoy her presence of this 16 epi.drama

SBS Veteran PD Jo Soo Won Abruptly Quits The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days

There is a huge and very public fire drill going on at SBS and it’s worrying the heck out of me since it concerns a drama I’m looking for to. News just broke that PD Jo Soo Won has quit the production of upcoming SBS weekend drama The Time I Loved You, 7000 Days. It’s better known as the K-remake of hit Taiwan drama In Time With You, not to mention the highly anticipated drama return of ratings queen Ha Ji Won.

Rather than the usual nondescript reasons for breaking up, this time the news specifically states that Jo PD quit despite it being so late in the production, with script reading already held and filming commenced, because of feuding and differences with the production company. PD Jo is a SBS drama veteran but the outside production company IWill Media is producing 7000 Days and is the source of the conflict. No word yet on who is replacing PD Jo but this as big a warning sign about the drama as any.

Awww..sad that he left the drama before it starts, he's also one of the reason why there's a lot of fans anticipating this drama and knowing how many actors he brought to be on this production from his previous show Pinocchio.

The Time I’ve Loved You makes last-minute PD switch

Aw no, I was so looking forward to PD Jo Soo-won taking the helm of The Time I’ve Loved You, 7000 Days (SBS’s remake of In Time With You starring Ha Ji-won and Lee Jin-wook), but a last-minute difference of creative opinion led him to quit the production on May 15.

Jo PD is best known for his SBS hit I Hear Your Voice, and has also directed Pinocchio,Gap-dong, and Alice in Cheongdam-dong, among other dramas. I greatly prefer his collaborations with writer Park Hye-ryun (Voice, Pinocchio) over his other shows, but The Time I’ve Loved You seemed so in his wheelhouse; the change-up makes me sad for what could’ve been.

According to SBS, the disagreement occurred between Jo PD and drama production house I Will Media: “His interpretation of the script didn’t match the production company’s, so PD Jo Soo-won has left the show. There definitely was not any discord.” Um, that just makes me think there definitely was discord, but the official stance seems to be a mutual parting of ways on all sides.
