Guest chajoowon
Im rewatching Bridal Mask on Viki right now. I had forgotten how powerful it was writing, acting wise. I remember being dissapointed by the way the main romance was written and the fact Mokdan died like everyone else in Kang Tos life. It was grim story, time but i hoped for happy ending for him personaly but it was a great ending as Bridal Mask story.Such wonderful drama also music, action scenes wise. Easily the best hand 2 hand fight scenes i have seen in any drama. When BM kicked, hit people i almost cringed in how real it looked, felt. The drama is still in my Top 10 dramas even though it was my first Kdrama ever when i saw it in 2012. Joo Won i became a big fan of, his acting showed potential that none of the other the young male actors of his generation has show in dramas. Its a shame that he was in Good Doctor which was a sappy drama that didnt demand as much from him. Nael's Cantiable was even weaker drama, tame romance. I hope to see him in a powerful drama again so. Maybe take a chance on darker cable show or major network saeguk.
Nkolika Obianyo
Just Wondering how Joeson became a pawn in the hands of its many neighbors. However their resilient spirit is worth commending
djappleblush
I'm still waiting for a drama that will surpass Bridal Mask's epicness in terms of almost everything- cinematography, story line, editing, pacing, characters, OTP - but I still can't find one.All other dramas just fall short and I think it's understandable, much like nothing yet, in my opinion, has surpassed the epic love story that was Titanic.Yes, Bridal Mask is my Titanic.Romantic. Passionate. Realistic. Beautiful. Dark. Painful. Confusing. Perfect.Absolutely perfect.

Kaizen68
Awesome. The other options are healer and city hunter. But bridal mask is still the best after all.

Guest skeletonworks
This is the longest drama that I actually finished watching! And sadly the only drama of Joowon that I like. I'm a fan of Joowon and he's a very talented actor but I don't like the other dramas that he's in. If he's in another drama as intense and brilliantly written as Gaksital, I'll definitely watch! I watched this when it was aired but only now I got to comment about it hahaha.
Guest soulmelodies
omg...Joo Won!!! Both my bf and I loved this series. Granted...anything that Joo Won is casted in is always amazing to begin with, but the history, the delivery and the struggles of this series is just so intense - totally added to the realness of the drama! Love it!

Feeling nostalgic...and it's KBS's fault. Some random BTS things that I can't find elsewhere in internet-land anymore, so maybe someone is looking for these... Agreed..Gaksital is one great drama. Acting wise..it's one with the best performances out there I remember the whole family waiting for every subbed episode of it on KBS World hehe Back then..the drama without sub would be 2 weeks ahead on what we were seeing on KBS world. (But no..I didn't see any spoilers of it..and watch it diligently haha )
