Next Scene:

CY is being escorted to the throne room.

His Wudalchi are following behind him for support.  (love these puppies)

Before he walks ito the throne room, he tells Dolbae that those who leave their posts are neglectful of their duties.  DB says he will let them know.

CY enters the throne room.

JIS starts the proceedings saying that everyone is interested to see the outcome of the royal interrogation.  

Will the king be a partial judge or cling to the sleeve of Choi Young, then he takes it back saying those are not my words those are the words of the common people (what a liar); or will the king be able to stand on his own.  He keeps going but the king stops him.

The king says that the only objective of this interrogation is whether CY accepted the bribe or not.  If he is not guilty, it will end right away.

Then JIS says how can you just pardon that fiend….

The king grabs him by his collar:  I will not have you address him as such.  He had to take so many lives after he met me and that is a price I have to pay.

JIS says that CY is holding the Majesty by his ankles.  How can he deny that.

The king stops and says we are ready to start.

NEXT SCENECY walks in the palace hallway accompanied by several palace guards, and Daeman walking behind him. He walks past the Wudalchi standing guard, and we see Deok Man looking at Daejang with puppy eyes. As CY walks forward, behind him Deok Man and the rest of the Wudalchi fall into step accompanying him. CY walks on, his face expressionless. As he reaches his destination, he is met at the door by Ju Seok and Dolbae. CY criticises those Wudalchi who left their post, and for some reason Dolbae smiles and bows. He'll see to them, he says. And CY turns and enters the throne room, alone bereft of his Wudalchi.




CY enters, passing the court ministers on either side of him, coming to the king's throne, DH sitting to the left of the throne.

SCENE CUTS TO JIS TALKING TO THE KING WHO HAS HIS BACK TURNED
JIS is saying how this matter is of great interest to all the people of Goryeo. The people are concerned whether the king will be impartial in judging his right hand man of corruption. Oops those are not his words, but the words of the common people. (Oooh JIS is such a weasel.. STAB STAB STAB. I'm so glad DH stabs him to death later. *EVIL GLEAM*)
The weasel tries to push the matter, that the king has to make a decisive resolution, to be an intelligent king. The king turns around and tells him the subject of today's interrogation is very simple. Whether CY took a bribe or not. The king says that if CY says he didn't do it, the matter would end. The weasel, putting a shocked expression on his face, says, "If Your Majesty will insist on pardoning that fiend...."
The King grabs the weasel's collar in obvious rage. "You will not address him that way again. The blood he has shed since entering my acquaintance... The lives he has had to take...Each and every one of them is my price to pay."
Love this dialogue!




Weasel says CY is holding the king back, controlling the king. The king releases his grip on JIS and says he is ready, let's begin.
