I just read a hot news about an hour ago from my country stating that another high class Korean actor about to be leaked personal information, and this person 'is going to film another movie after the drama which was just aired last month'. Why is everyone pointing at HB? Is he gonna make a movie right after CLOY that I'm not aware of?

*** Next week's airing of the drama will be pre-empted due to Lunar New Year programming. Argh...the 2-weeks wait is going to be a real torture. Love this drama, so light & funny.

I couldn’t agree more! My husband is more excited than me! yet pissed off that there is no ep this week! Lol

Hi ChunSunglm, thanks for sharing this. The drama is under criticism for glamorizing and romanticizing North Korea.  The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced that the Christian Liberal Party submitted a complaint against tvN for beautifying North Korea and depicting their army as a peaceful figure. We see that the drama shows many scenes around life in North Korea.  The Christian Liberal Party alleges that the drama violates the National Security Law.

Actor Hyun Bin is not only good-looking AF, but also talented at what he does; acting. And thankfully, he has blessed K-Drama watchers with countless hit series. In case his most recent interview has you hooked on this hunk of a man, here are 3 of Hyun Bin’s hottest characters from his incredible and growing filmography.

Spoiler

1. Captain Ri in Crash Landing On You

-1

In Crash Landing On You, Hyun Bin plays the role of the North Korean military captain Ri Jeong Hyuk. As Captain Ri, Hyun Bin finds and helps a stranded South Korean chaebol woman (played by actress Son Ye Jin) — eventually to fall in love with her.

To best portray a strong, reliable soldier, Hyun Bin is said to have worked out for a more muscular build. Thanks to that, he boasts an amazing physique in the drama that is driving the viewers wild in love!

2. CEO Yoo Jin Woo in Memories of the Alhambra

-2

In the fantasy-filled Memories of the Alhambra, Hyun Bin plays the role of a game developing company’s CEO Yoo Jin Woo. And by the title CEO, he sounds like another typical young-and-rich K-Drama prince; but Yoo Jin Woo is actually a whole mess.

When the drama aired in 2019, Hyun Bin’s portrayal of Yoo Jin Woo as a troubled man who can’t escape his own game of life had viewers much devastated and heartbroken.

3. CEO Kim Joo Won in Secret Garden

-3

In the sensational Secret Garden, Hyun Bin plays the role of the rich and famous CEO Kim Joo Won. When the drama aired in 2011, this character swept Korean viewers off their feet…

… with Hyun Bin’s portrayal of him as a rich-and-arrogant, but nonetheless lovable man-boy in his sequin tracksuit. His co-star Ha Ji Won, as Gil Lime, ends up teaching Hyun Bin the meaning of true love and making a real gentleman out of him.
