[Drama 2012] Can Love Become Money 사랑도 돈이 되나요

Hi everyone! 

Like all of you..I really like this drama too. I've seen the first 2 episodes with subs and its really good.  Been going everywhere to find the rest of the episodes subs..hopefully, at least someone would recap this.  Dying to know what they're talking about.

First off, your last sentence made me burst out laughing in the office, in front of my colleagues who probably think that I'm crazy.

Anyway, I am following this drama series by live streaming even though I do not understand Hangul. Just bits and pieces of phrases here and there.  Thank God for you posting your thoughts after each episode... so that I don't have to make up my own story too. LOL

A lot of my understanding of the drama is through guesswork in trying to read their facial expressions and body language. My guess on the "date" was probably Eun Sung (is that her name) blackmailed him into it, otherwise she would expose his "secret" whatever that "secret" is, your guess is as good as mine. LOL. She probably felt "cheated" that they did not go on any dates, so that was like a fantasy date for her. Am I making sense? LOL. I probably need to watch ep 13 which I missed streaming it live on Saturday.

I totally can't stand the fake HMM, especially her attitude towards DR. Why hit DR, when it's SW who has the hots for DR? Hit him instead! Geez. The ending scene of ep 14 has IR demanding that HMM leave immediately. I hope he throws her out! Or better still, the dog comes running to DR's rescue!

I guess with so many popular dramas right now, subbers are putting this on a back burner, which is understandable. Oh well, we just have to tune in every Sat and Sun and make up our own stories then.

I don't know her name I just call her escort girl, she went to the directors of his company and stated she would tell all, and their was some mention about on the internet too. DR went to her made her feel guilty and asked her what she wanted, and she said for him to take her on a date.What I find strange is he IT has all these women that leaching off of him and aside from DR no one works. You would think that they would think about the future, how long can a free ride last. With yesterdays episode we can see that HM could be out at any moment, since the real girl has shown up. She got IT to open the bistro for her but she doesn't own it, plus she's a has been B movie actress, if she get's kicked out she is in the same position she was in when she got their. 

A girl needs to plan ahead.

I love the end of episode 14 where IT protected DR. He asked HMM to get out. "Who are you to dare and hit my women. Without knowing the reason, you dare to touch my women, I will not tolerate it". It was something along that line. Haha ! DR was shocked to hear him said that. I think DR is starting to grow in IT. He was worried about her and even forgive her for stealing the watch, which is so unlikely of him with his cold behaviour. I am afraid that when he knows DR true motive and deception, all hell would break lose. As DR pointed out to him, IT don't accept other people's feelings because he is scared of betrayal. He said he don't live normally like other people because betrayal and separation are all wasting his feelings, time and money.

I am watching this drama because of Yun Jung Hoon. His acting is superb here.

Ahhh... really? He said that? "...my woman?" Wakakakaka. No wonder that shocked expression on the faces of HMM and DR. Thank you so much for filling in the blanks for us who are really Hangul challenged. Now, that's really an important piece of information which I must go back to rewatch. I love the ending of ep 14. No wonder. "...my woman." Wakakakaka.

But I am enjoying this drama despite my not understanding the dialogue

Extremely excellent acting from the actors who can still keep me glued to the tv

Thanks for providing the links to watch the episodes. I watched the series since it started and I was completely drawn. I love all of Yoo Jung Hoon's facial actions. I was laughing so much when they were having dinner in Ep. 14 and the part after when they went to the hospital to see DR's father. You can tell for IT, it was completely weird that they were eating and not talking and since he isn't really the talking type, he just rambled off on things not knowing what button he was pressing on DR. So, when she yelled at him, he yelled at her back and that made me crack. The hospital part was funny too considering DR and her friend was hugging and talking completely not noticing that he was still right there.

I really don't understand why HMM likes to go after DR and not her guy. She keeps blaming DR for getting close to her guy when it's the other way around. I was completely happy when IT yelled at her to get out.

I really wonder how the rest of the 6 episodes are going to play out. I'm pretty sure IT will experience a huge heartbreak later considering he is starting to care and possibly trust DR, so when he finds out, he will feel lots of hurt. I have a pretty good feeling they will end up together, but the course to get there would be quite difficult.

I agree you can see IT is really starting to like DR his tone is much softer now when he talks to her, but I thinks she is falling too, I just hope that she exposes the uncles scheme and her part in it before he finds out some other way. The blow would devastate him.

I loved how when DR was planning the date for escort girl and IT she stared to daydream about what her perfect date would be, it seem all she wanted was for him to trade places with her, she had him scrubbing the floor cooking meals while she played video games.

I want to see them date for real, he touched by all of the thoughtful things she does even when disapprove, like when she took his mother shopping and then took her to the noodle restaurant where he had his last meal with her, he was angry but he was also moved, when his mother talked to him, but once he realized she didn't know who hi was it hurt. SW revenge makes no sense to me, the accident happened when IT was a kid. I can't even be sure it was his fault.

I also want IT to be smart enough to see through everyone's schemes and make them all backfire. It would be different if he had did something to the people that are plotting against but he hasn't. He did not grow up a rich kid, he made all his money on his own.

When IT mom finally recognized him and gave him a hug and said sorry, it bought a tear to my eye. I hope this is the start of her getting better. I am a little confused by the pace of this drama because it is only 20 eps right? We are already at 16 with tomorrow's episode so when will they start to let IT get a clue that he is surrounded by enemy's out to destroy him. Maybe he already know's and is waiting to see how it play's out. So is the story about how DR changes IT into a warm person who can appreciate love and family, or is it about how all of these character's in the drama take advantage of IT and want to take everything away from him. I'm not sure where it is headed. I just like IT and the interaction between him and DR, I never thought I would watch a drama for this long for that reason alone.

I don't understand the motivations of the uncle and aunt at all. when IT was a child they treated him his mother and father like dirt. Everything he has he earned yet they act as if they are the ones that are being misused.I even got the feeling in today's episode that the aunt might be responsible for his mother's condition. I understand DR reason's for what she is doing but it's still wrong, the same thing goes for HM neither one of them have any ulterior motive's so they should come clean and apologize. 

I don't know who DR stylist is but she should fire them, she goes from looking chic and sophisticated to looking like a scrub woman and the most inappropriate times. Plus the actress could not be what you would call pretty, at best when she's dressed and groomed appropriately she could be call attractive.   That thing they did with her hair when she had several ponytails and wore those strange outfit's, even on casual Friday they would have sent her home.

I was surprised by the ratings, it's not doing any worse than RTP or FK and yet no one will sub it, I'm desperate for subs.

The scene was shot in Icheon studio at Gyeonggi-do on April 18th, 2012. Yun Jung Hoon was showing a distinctive charm of a quiet gentle man. In addition, Uhm Ji Won also perfectly interpreted the sweet kiss scene, displaying the charm that is different from her usual cheerful and lively appearance in the drama.

I'm happy to hear that the ratings are still doing good. It is kind of sad the see it subbed so late. I'm happy that at least the chinese subbing is at least up to date, or I would have to guess everything again.

That kiss looks so cute!! I really hope that IT knows that he has enemies around because he seems to not notice it at all. For a person that is so good at doing his business and seems to be so careful at trusting people, how could he not know about all the enemies around him? I'm waiting for the 'I know what is happening, but still choose to go alone with it'. I think if he ends up being dumb at this time, I'm going to be really annoyed!

There are only four episodes left....I wonder when everything is going to be exposed. Like, when is DR going to tell him about his uncle is using her to get to him?

I really love how IT reconciled with his mother. It just made it seem like his mother is choosing to be like that because there was nothing really important to cause her to remember, but since her son is willing to forgive her then that is the thing that will trigger her to remember.

I can't wait to see what the last episodes will bring.
